1966 Ford Bronco complete "Frame-Off"
Restoration. This is Bronco that was sold to a customer from a "Well known"

got dishearted with the whole deal so I bought it from him with the existing

perfection. This Bronco has a Second Rebuilt 302 V-8 installed
(First engine had Problem so a complete "second" rebuilt 302 engine was
installed) with a New Elderbrock 4 barrel carburetor with less than 500 Miles on
the rebuild, complete with a remote underhood mounted oil filter, and MSD
ignition. The pneumatic hood lifts make checking under the hood with no effort.
The 3 speed transmission shifts on the floor, The T-Handle rebuilt transfer case
shifts on the floor. There is a New heavy duty clutch to the drive train. New
Power front disc brakes and drums on the rear stop this ride on a dime. The

lift kit. The Aluminum radiator and Ceramic headers keep this baby growling and
cool at the same time. The Interior has captains chairs with shoulder safety
belts and lap belts in the rear. There is an AM/FM CD stereo with remote,
electric antenna amplifier and sound bar mounted speakers to keep you in the
tunes! There is a family roll cage with a 100% Rhino lined tub to help with the

tire included. A nice chrome set of nerf bars help protect the rocker panels.
Custom steel painted bumpers front and rear hold the New Mile Marker winch, 2"

Optima red top battery powers up the new starter and electronics. Lastly, there
is a chrome Bronco mounted atop of the Bronco enjoying the wind as you drive
down the road! The exterior is Ford Mustang Lime Gold in color and shines like
Glass! This Bronco runs like a sewing machine. Almost everything on the Bronco
is New or Rebuilt to like new! I have all the paperwork and recipts showing what
has been spent $$ on this Bronco, and it totals up to just shy of $58K. I can
send video and any photos to serious buyers showing the bronco starting up,
running down the road or what ever you wish. I have lots more photos, showing
the undercarriage, differentials, bottom view of the doors, body etc. Send me a
PM with your request and I will try my best to provide the view you are looking
for. I sold a 1968 Ford Bronco on Classic Bronco earlier to a guy out of Atlanta
and he loved it. This is your chance to take the keys and drive the Bronco of

Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
70% of pickups could use aluminum by 2025
Wed, 11 Jun 2014In the next decade, the auto industry will see an explosion in its use of aluminum to cut weight and increase fuel economy, according to a study from market analysts Ducker Worldwide cited by The Detroit News. We are already seeing the lightweight metal show up extensively in luxury models from Europe, but with the impending launch of aluminum-intensive 2015 Ford F-150 (pictured above), North America is using it even more, as well. The report predicts 70 percent of US pickups to have aluminum bodies by 2025.
It won't just be pickups that see the benefit, though. The average amount of aluminum in US vehicles is forecasted by the study to grow from an average of 350 pounds in 2013 to about 550 pounds by 2025. The most common parts to use it will be hoods, doors and - to some extent - roofs, as well.
The massive increase in pickups' aluminum content hardly seems surprising. The F-150 is predicted to use so much that it might cause a short-term shortage, according to one earlier report. At the same time General Motors is heavily rumored to be negotiating with suppliers for the next generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Ram is the last holdout of the Big Three, but the study predicts that not to last.
Ford bringing adaptive steering to the masses [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014Within the next year, Ford will offer a brand-new adaptive steering system (unimaginatively dubbed "Ford Adaptive Steering"), and this week, the automaker invited us out to its proving grounds in Dearborn, MI to get a taste for how its new setup works. In function, Ford's system doesn't greatly differ from the majority of other adaptive steering units already on the market from companies like Audi or BMW, but consider this: Ford will be the first non-luxury automaker to offer this technology, and uniquely, the whole system fits inside the car's steering wheel.
Ford's engineers have worked hard to create a system that can be tacked on to the company's full lineup of cars, trucks and utility vehicles, and says that the adaptive steering will be uniquely tuned for each specific vehicle. The automaker will not confirm exactly which vehicle will launch with this technology, but for the purpose of our preview, we tested the technology in a 2014 Fusion - a vehicle with already-good behind-the-wheel feel, one that the company says best demonstrates its current steering efforts.
