1966 Ford Bronco complete "Frame-Off" Restoration. This is Bronco that was sold to a customer from a "Well known" Bronco restoration company. The buyer had some issues with the restoration, and got dishearted with the whole deal so I bought it from him with the existing problems and had everything fixed, repaired, repainted completed, and tuned to perfection. This Bronco has a Second Rebuilt 302 V-8 installed (First engine had Problem so a complete "second" rebuilt 302 engine was installed) with a New Elderbrock 4 barrel carburetor with less than 500 Miles on the rebuild, complete with a remote underhood mounted oil filter, and MSD ignition. The pneumatic hood lifts make checking under the hood with no effort. The 3 speed transmission shifts on the floor, The T-Handle rebuilt transfer case shifts on the floor. There is a New heavy duty clutch to the drive train. New Power front disc brakes and drums on the rear stop this ride on a dime. The front wheels have Mile Marker locking hubs. The uncut body is lifted with a 4" lift kit. The Aluminum radiator and Ceramic headers keep this baby growling and cool at the same time. The Interior has captains chairs with shoulder safety belts and lap belts in the rear. There is an AM/FM CD stereo with remote, electric antenna amplifier and sound bar mounted speakers to keep you in the tunes! There is a family roll cage with a 100% Rhino lined tub to help with the sound and heat. There is a Brand New Bestop Rampage Spice denim soft top and a New Full Rampage Spice bikini Top that matches the seat colors. The windshield wiper are run by two new electric motors mounted at the top of the windshield. There is a locking center console between the seats and another locking box under the passenger seat. A New gas tank, New shocks, New coil springs, New Drive Shafts, New steering stabilizer and power steering makes this a dream to drive. You can let go of the wheel running 60MPH+. Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.50 tires and Micky Thompson Bead Lock looking aluminum rims with rear mounted spare tire included. A nice chrome set of nerf bars help protect the rocker panels. Custom steel painted bumpers front and rear hold the New Mile Marker winch, 2" trailer hitch receiver, swing-out spare tire carrier and PIAA driving lights. Optima red top battery powers up the new starter and electronics. Lastly, there is a chrome Bronco mounted atop of the Bronco enjoying the wind as you drive down the road! The exterior is Ford Mustang Lime Gold in color and shines like Glass! This Bronco runs like a sewing machine. Almost everything on the Bronco is New or Rebuilt to like new! I have all the paperwork and recipts showing what has been spent $$ on this Bronco, and it totals up to just shy of $58K. I can send video and any photos to serious buyers showing the bronco starting up, running down the road or what ever you wish. I have lots more photos, showing the undercarriage, differentials, bottom view of the doors, body etc. Send me a PM with your request and I will try my best to provide the view you are looking for. I sold a 1968 Ford Bronco on Classic Bronco earlier to a guy out of Atlanta and he loved it. This is your chance to take the keys and drive the Bronco of your dreams, and get it at a great price..You can PM me and I'll give you my cell phone number if you want to talk in person, come drive it or arrange to have it inspected! This is a beautiful Bronco build ready to go, and it can be your for a great price! Make me an Offer I cannot refuse

Ford board OK with Mulally stepping down earlier

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Ford's board is open to CEO Alan Mulally stepping down before his planned departure in 2014, inside sources are telling Reuters. Ford's plan of succession, aside from who would be his actual successor, has been something approaching common knowledge - the 68-year-old former Boeing exec had plans to stay through 2014. This was recently confirmed by Mulally himself on Bloomberg Television and in Automotive News.
Motivation for the about-face comes from what Reuters calls a "growing confidence" in the current crop of Ford execs, led by Mark Fields. Fields, Ford's current chief operating officer, has been tipped as Mulally's ultimate successor, although he's far from the only person with eyes on Ford's top job. Normally, Ford's board saying they're open to an executive, that's done very well for the company, stepping down early would be nearly unremarkable. It's the timing of this announcement, though, that makes this a big piece of news.
Recently, Mulally has been the subject of rumors that he's interested in taking the CEO position at tech giant Microsoft. The Redmond, Washington-based company's CEO, Steve Ballmer, told the media in August that he'd be retiring in a year's time. The fires were stoked when tech website AllThingsD speculated that Mulally would take the top spot, despite denials from the man himself. Could Ford's current boss become the new top dog at Microsoft? Will Mark Fields replace him? Could recently departed Renault exec Carlos Tavares land at Ford in some capacity? Let us know what you think below in Comments.

Ford C-Max spied with fresh updates

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

The Ford C-Max hatchback looks to be getting a few cosmetic updates, as evidenced in this latest set of spy photos. Like the smaller Focus, which also received a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, the C-Max appears to be getting a revised front fascia with slimmer headlamps and a more, shall we say, Aston Martin-like grille. Around back, there looks to be a new bumper with redesigned taillamps, as well.
In other markets, the C-Max people-mover is available with a range of powertrains, but here in the US, it exists either as a traditional gas-electric or plug-in hybrid. The C-Max's fuel economy has been a particular topic of interest lately, with its official fuel economy ratings having been lowered twice since the vehicle's launch. Sales initially suffered a bit following this fiasco, though numbers have since leveled out. It's unclear if Ford is working on any powertrain tweaks for the updated C-Max seen here, however.
Ford has likely spruced up the hatch's interior, as well, though we don't have photos of that at this time. Mum's the word on when we'll see the new C-Max, but our best guess is that it'll arrive sometime in the next year.
