You are considering a VERY NICE Ford Bronco2. The paint is three years old with some minimal rock chips (see pics)due to the aggressive tires. Prior to the new paint, the Bronco was very straight with minimal rust. One small patch in front of a rear wheel and some around the wheel openings. The under body was very clean. This Bronco has a very slight lift, I believe 2 inches and the front wheel wells have been modified slightly to accept wheels. The Transmission was rebuilt two years(+-) ago and I believe the warranty goes with it. Some of the work done to this unit in the last four years(some paper work to support this...not all) New PW and door lock motors, drive shaft, windshield and waterproofed the interior, brand new matching tire and wheel spare, Front brakes and shocks. If I remember right I had some gaskets on top of the motor replaced. New headlights. It does have an updated stereo. I'm sure I'm missing the nickel and dime items. The engine seems to be strong for 120k. no drips on the garage floor and no smoke out the tail pipe. It hasn't been drove since fall and sat during the winters while I owned it. What the bronco could use is some interior work but was acceptable to me. The radiator could use replacement, yet I have never had a problem(leaks when it's full?) I have never had it replaced because the truck has always screamed 302 but that never took place. I do have the original factory wheels and spare tire cover. Also the original owners guide. I believe everything is in working order including A/C and 4x4. REMEMBER>>>This Bronco 2 is 25 years old and will be sold as is with no returns so please have a mechanic check it out before buying!! I will be happy to send additional photos or ask any questions on this truck. A $500 non refundable deposit will be required upon buying. THIS BRONCO2 IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND THIS MAY BE CANCELLED AT ANY TIME! Good luck. A TRUE SURVIVOR!!!

Trump tells Detroit 3 CEOs he wants more US jobs, calls environmentalists 'out of control'
Tue, Jan 24 2017As expected, President Donald J. Trump met with top executives from FCA, Ford, and General Motors this morning as part of a larger push to generate jobs in America. "I want new plants to be built here for cars sold here!", Trump said in a tweet ahead of the meeting. Not everything said in the meeting was made public, but the President later tweeted that he had a "Great meeting with automobile industry leaders." FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne, Ford chief Mark Fields, and GM's Mary Barra all echoed the positive vibes after the meeting. In a statement, Barra called the discussion "very constructive and wide-ranging," adding that it focused on "policies that support a strong and competitive economy and auto industry," and "that supports the environment and safety." That's noteworthy, because Trump is reported to have said "I am to a large extent an environmentalist. I believe in it, but it's out of control." Fields, speaking to reporters after the meeting, said, "We're excited about working together with the president and his administration on tax policies, on regulation and on trade to really create a renaissance in American manufacturing." The Ford CEO was specifically talking about Trump's withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. "We've repeatedly said that the mother of all trade barriers is currency manipulation, and TPP failed in meaningfully dealing with that, and we appreciate the president's courage to walk away from a bad trade deal," he said. Marchionne focused on American manufacturing in his statement after the meeting. "I appreciate the President's focus on making the US a great place to do business. We look forward to working with President Trump and members of Congress to strengthen American manufacturing." Perhaps equally as interesting as what was said and who was invited are what wasn't said and who wasn't invited. Trump has been very vocal about his distaste for US automakers' plants in Mexico, but no mention was made of the North American Free Trade Agreement by Trump or any of the Detroit CEOs after the meeting. We also have to wonder if Trump plans to meet with representatives from German, Japanese, and Korean automakers that have made massive investments into American plants and produce a large number of cars in this country. Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
Project Ugly Horse: Part VIII
Fri, 17 May 2013Now With More EcoBoost
There's an EcoBoost 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in there somewhere, and it's headed straight for Ugly Horse.
For the second time in my life, I'm staring at an engine in the back of a truck with no concept of how to get it safely into the garage by my lonesome. The first time this happened, I dragged home a $300 International 345 V8 in the back of my Scout Terra only to discover that the bounds of my manliness terminated well before my ability to muscle that 800-pound cast iron block out of the pickup bed.
