AS IS NEEDS WORK - PROJECT - COMPLETE

79 Bronco project runs 351M v8 - C6 Automatic trans - All matching numbers original
motor, transmission, transfer case & axles, Dana 44 axle, Dana 60 axle, NP205 transfer case, Transmission shifts fine - 4x4 is fully functional everything works mechanically.

The frame is solid - the body (quarter panels are shot rusted out) motor runs Great no noise no smoke no knocking many many new parts include new 3 inch lift springs - front coil springs & complete rear leaf springs, all suspension bushing have been replaced with energy suspension red urethane , front axle has been rebuilt new ball joints upper & lower, new front wheel bearings, new front wheel seals, new tie rod ends, new drag link, new center link, all new brake lines, new transmission lines, all new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new 2 barrel carb, all fluid flushed and replaced, new heater core, new hoses, new belts, new alternator, new voltage regulator, new u-joints in both front axles, new u-joints in all drive shafts, new master cylinder, new brake booster, valve cover gaskets, tune up, new ignition,
Got this as a project did all the mechanical work drove it in the winter as needed,  use it on the farm as a work truck the plan was to put new quarter panels on it and finish the body but I have not had time to do anything to the body it is ruff,
has not been on the road since the front end was rebuilt last year and the brake booster was installed, currently it starts right up and moves fine will pull a house.. I would not drive it on the road the way it is the brakes are weak (need bled out) and the front end needs an alignment, tires have good tread but they are very dry rotted, in it's current state I would not drive it on the road till the brakes got bled out, was last on the road the winter of 2012 I put about 2k miles on it when ever it snowed enough for 4wd did all the mentioned suspension work last summer hasnt been on the road since. the mileage is actual this Bronco has been in my family since the 80's I got it about 3 years ago after it had sat in a barn for quite a while, my brother put a new tail gate on it several years ago tail gate is in good shape, and a new radiator, has the factory style exhaust "y pipe & catalytic converter still on it, could use some shocks when I did the suspension and springs the shocks were fine Rancho 5000, pry more new parts than I listed everything I mentioned I replaced was new in box from "Jeffs bronco graveyard. com" everything works on the truck even the power tailgate window, the top has the slider vent windows in it, I purchased the complete suspension & body Energy Suspension Red urethane "kit" I do have the complete body bushing kit still in the box never put on the truck. Jeff's sold me the right suspension kit "I believe 4 degree pitch" matching the 3" lift Spring kit I purchased, rear springs are complete new main leaf all new leaves new bushings no redneck blocks or add a leaf to achieve the lift.  For off road you just need to turn the key and go.. I would suggest new quarter panels tires and an
alignment before it be road worthy again

NOTE::: has the set of 4 Bush Wacker wheel flares the photos show the rear drivers side missing I have it, I took it off so I didnt lose it somewhere on the road as you can see that quarter panel is pretty bad, also the photos show no rear sway bar I have that too just not on the truck atm.. - Mileage discrepancy odometer reads 64,000 miles it is original miles, the title however at one point when I filed it got filed as exceeds limits and shows 162k rather than 62k I know the history my brother was the 2nd owner since the 80's it never turned over but the title shows it has so im listing as undetermined miles, I dumped a ton of money in last summer with high hope of finishing it and painting it now I am just trying to avoid putting it back in the barn because I dont know if/when I'll have time to do any more work to it.

Ford wants to double hybrid offerings by 2020

Wed, Jan 15 2014

The Blue Oval is looking for folks on the other side of this Big Old Sphere to get on board with its hybrid offerings. Ford executive Raj Nair, speaking at the Detroit Auto Show this week, said the US automaker wants to double the number of hybrids models it offers by the end of the decade, Reuters reports. Details of what that actually means is anyone's guess, as it was unclear how many of those models would be in the US and how many would be overseas. That said, Nair did say that prospective customers in regions such as China and Europe would drive the expansion of offerings. Ford got off to a great start in the US last year on its hybrid sales, but then tailed off towards the end of 2013. Ford more than doubled its green-car sales in 2013 to almost 88,000 units. In that number were more than 37,000 Fusion Hybrids and more than 28,000 C-Max Hybrids sold domestically. The company also sold almost 7,500 Lincoln MKZ Hybrids. Ford's green-car totals for 2013 were up fivefold at the mid-year point, hinting that Ford's hybrid sales plateaued, at least temporarily, in recent months.

Ford F-100 'Snakebit' shown off by Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed at SEMA

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Ford, along with KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his wife, Shannon Tweed, used SEMA as a backdrop to pull the covers off Snakebit, a 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck that's been updated with Shelby Mustang-derived styling bits and a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine. All 550 horsepower are funneled through a six-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels.
Underneath the custom bodywork sits a chassis that's been stretched five inches and a bed widened and bedecked with billet machined pieces that are supposed to look like wood. The 20-inch rear and 18-inch front wheels ape those of past Shelby Mustang models. The interior is swathed in two-tone leather with a bench seat designed to look - try to act surprised - like a Shelby Mustang.
Like what you see? Bidding for the truck will take place in 2014 at an unspecified Barrett-Jackson event (we'd assume Scottsdale). Proceeds will be used to help build a children's hospital in Saskatoon, in the province of Saskatchewan, where Ms. Tweed grew up. See the high-res gallery above and the press release down below for more.

Ford worker files for UAW dues refund, stirs right-to-work debate

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

Let's start with some history: Ford's Dearborn truck plant, part of the company's massive River Rouge complex, was the center of a strike in 1941 that led to Ford signing the first "closed shop" agreement in the industry. The agreement obliged every worker at the plant to be a dues-paying member of the United Auto Workers. In December 2012, however, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation making Michigan a right-to-work state, which outlawed closed shops. The new law gave workers the right to opt out of union membership and stop paying dues even if they were still covered by union activities like collective bargaining. For employees at the Dearborn plant, the right-to-work clauses take effect at the end of their current contract in 2015.
As a tool-and-die maker at Ford's Dearborn plant for 16 years, Todd Lemire pays dues to the UAW - about two hours' salary per month. However, he's been unhappy with the UAW's support of the Democratic party, and not wanting to wait until next year to be out of the UAW entirely he invoked his Beck Rights, which state that a non-member of a union does not have to pay dues to support non-core activities, such as political spending. But Lemire wasn't happy that Ford still subtracted the total amount of dues, with the UAW reimbursing the difference, so he filed suit with the National Labor Relations Board, feeling that the workaround violates his rights.
Lemire's case is just a week old, so it could be a while before a resolution. Yet, as September 15, 2015 draws near and the right-to-work laws take full effect for Michigan workers - and others wonder whether it could help revitalize the state's manufacturing base - a case like this adds more fuel to the discussion.
