Runs great. * Engine and and entire drivetrain rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. (It was a frame off restoration less than two years ago)(original wiring was used in the restoration)*

 It has the following upgrades: Engine has 351w cam in it (it rumbles like a muscle car with the 351 cam)
* Cobra dual exhaust
* Fiberglass hood
* 2 1/2" wild horses 4x4 lift kit
* 1" body lift kit and fender flares from wild horses 4x4
* New psc 4x4 ford steering box with cylinder assist (i dont have a piston assist hooked up to it right now but it is ready for one)
* New psc power steering pump
* Flaming river steering shaft
* Flaming river steering column polished stainless steel
* Besttop full supertop soft top and Bestop bikini top in like new condition
* Lecarra steering wheel
* Hurst floor shifter
* Firestone tires have less than 1,000 miles on them (they are firestone destination MT 31x10.5 R15)
* custom steel bumpers
* This bronco has been kept in a garage and has a fresh coat of paint on it. It looks great and drives straight. There is no play in the steering. I replaced the drag link and pitman arm with a drop pitman arm and drag link from wild horses and had it professionally alligned by firestone. This truck is road worthy. I drove it from Florida to California without any problems.  Also after installing the new hurst shifter and new steering column it makes it even easier to drive.  Yes you can drive this truck as a daily driver.  Also for Californians: you do not have to smog 1975 and below. Any questions just ask.

Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Sat, 17 Aug 2013

Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid. You be the judge... Scroll down to watch the short clip from the episode.

Social media star Scott Monty leaves Ford

Thu, 22 May 2014

It seems weird to think that an automaker could have a social media star, but Ford does. Or at least it did. Scott Monty, its Global Digital Communications Manager, led the company's team for almost six years and forged a reputation as being one of the most talented people in corporate social media. But the guru recently announced that he would be leaving the automaker for an undisclosed job elsewhere.
"I just decided the time was right. I am going to take a little time with my family, and I am going to start on a new adventure pretty soon," said Monty in an interview with AdWeek. He also explained a little about his theory of how companies should use social media. In his opinion, it should be a chance to go beyond standard marketing and build a relationship with people. Businesses need to have a broad focus for its online message, and using just one service isn't enough to be successful.
Under his guidance, Ford expanded its Facebook presence significantly. According to AdWeek, it launched the 2010 Explorer on the popular site. Also, when the company wanted to investigate selling electric models, it initially gauged the public's reaction on Facebook and then advertised them there first. Monty has been a major supporter of Twitter as well to broaden the company's communication with the public.

Ken Block is at it again in Gymkhana 6

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

If there's one thing we'll say about Ken Block and his latest installment in the Gymkhana family, it's that it's far more structured than previous videos, but that doesn't mean it skimps on the entertainment. Block is on a purpose-built course which was touted as "The... Ultimate... Gymkhana... Grid... Course" in last week's preview. Unlike Gymkhana 5, which took placed on closed streets in San Francisco, this course seems much more compact.
Block has an entire array of challenges to tackle in his 650-horsepower Ford Fiesta ST, and none of them look particularly easy. In fact, we'd argue that Gymkhana 6's grid course requires much more precise driving that previous titles. There are Segways, Lamborghinis and massive pieces of construction equipment that all must be dealt with.
We've got the entire 6:28 of Gymkhana madness for you down below. Scroll down for the video and then hit Comments and let us know how this installment compares to previous Block works.
