This is a cool ride, previous owner rebuilt it about 8 years ago. 289 engine with 3 on the tree. Total of 900 miles since rebuilt. last three years 80 miles have been put on. It has BFG radial mud terrain T/A tires, 33 x 12.50 15 LT. Aluminum center line wheels. Power steering, power brakes, 4 wheel drum brakes. Nice solid steel tub, only fiberglass is the fender flares. Just picked up a tail gate for it and bolted it on, that will need a lower patch panel which is available on line. No doors or hard top. Can put on after market pipe doors but we preferred the open style. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING OR COME FOR AN EXPECTION OF THE VEHICLE. NO WARRANTY, SOLD AS IS. Ford Mondeo with 1.5-liter EcoBoost debuts in China
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Does the car above, posing fancifully in white, look familiar? Well, it should. Although it wears Mondeo badges in the form you see above for the Chinese market - as it does in Europe - the car is basically the same thing sold in the US as the Ford Fusion. Of course, it's what's under that shapely skin that counts.
Ford has chosen the Shanghai Motor Show as the venue with which to unveil its 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. We'd heard about the engine before, but now we have a few performance estimates to share: 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet).
Those numbers pretty much confirm previous rumors indicating about 177 in each category, and it's right on par with what Ford's own 1.6-liter EcoBoost produces. Ford is claiming best-in-class fuel economy as well, but no specific figures have yet been provided. In any case, we'll surely have all the data soon enough, as the 1.5-liter mill is destined for the US Fusion in 2014.

This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.
