Rushville, Indiana, United States
2013 FIAT 500 POP 1.4L MULTIAIR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION BODY MAN'S SPECIAL CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE NO RESERVE ONLY 2,887 MILES PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 2013 FIAT 500 POP with a 1.4L MULTIAIR L4 S.F.I. DOHC 16V ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. We purchased this vehicle from a large leasing company. When this vehicle had ONLY 2,887 miles on it and was less than 2 months old it was involved in a collision resulting in damage to the front of the vehicle. The impact was primarily to the left front corner of the vehicle. The impact appears to have been high and above the frame/unibody rail. There is a slight bend to the top of the left bumper horn but for the most part the rail appears to be straight. We have not had a professional body shop look at this car however from what we can see the damages is to the following parts and areas....... bumper cover, grill, left head light, left fog light, bumper reinforcement, A/C condenser, radiator, core support, fan, air intake (cracked), exhaust heat shield (lightly dented), left fender, left inner fender, and hood. Basically everything from the fan forward could have damage. The drivers front and knee airbags did deploy along with the passengers front airbag, and as designed the front seat belts locked in position. NO other airbags deployed in the accident. As a result of the drivers knee airbag deploying the steering column housing (plastic) came apart making it difficult to turn the key to the start position. The car will start and run however you must manually turn the internal ignition. With all of this being said there is NO damage to any other panels on the vehicle. Even the right front fender has NO damage except for a scuff that we cause while transporting. The vehicle does start and drive however due to the radiator and fan being broken it can not be allowed to run long. With the exception of the damage caused by the collision this car still looks and even smells new. This vehicle will make for a good and somewhat easy fix, and with ONLY 2,887 miles on it is well worth the effort. This vehicle had an M.S.R.P. of over $16,000. Regardless of that we are selling this FIAT with NO RESEREVE and with a CLEAN and CLEAR TITLE!!!!!! If you have the body repair ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive 2013 FIAT 500 POP or a NICE PROFIT! This vehicle has front end damage however all damage appears to be in the front end and no other panels are damaged. We do have the damaged bumper cover, headlights and fog lights. The left side lights housings are broken but the right side appear to be fine. As stated above this vehicle is being sold with front in collision damage. INTERIOR: With the exception of the airbag deployment the interior still looks and smells new. DRIVE TRAIN: The car must be started with the switch inside the steering column. However the car does start and drive. As stated above due to the radiator and fan being broken the vehicle must not be allowed to run long. The car comes with both key remotes. Fiat will start selling 500e in Oregon this summer
Thu, Apr 24 2014Even thought demand in California for the Fiat 500e electric vehicle is growing, the fun little EV is about to grown its sales to the north. Fiat US chief Jason Stoicevich tells Wards Auto that sales of the EV will start in Oregon this summer, adding that green-minded Portland will likely be a strong market for the model. Fiat 500e demand in California is "fantastic." This year's first-quarter sales of the gas-powered and EV variants of the 500 were up about 19 percent from a year earlier, as a recent TV ad campaign featuring Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and the model's availability at about 220 dealerships appear to have been effective. Stoicevich didn't give any specific sales figures for the 500e, though he did say demand in California is "fantastic." "After its introduction in California last year, the Fiat 500e has been a great success for our brand in just a short period of time," Fiat spokeswoman Angela Bianchi wrote in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen while confirming the debut of 500e sales in Oregon this summer. "Oregon is the second-largest ZEV (zero-emissions vehicle) state after California." Late last year, Wards Auto named the 500e motor to its 10 Best Engines list, making the model the first Fiat ever to receive that honor. The 500e has 111 horsepower and can go 87 miles on a single charge. The 500e also won Road & Track's 2013 award for best electric car in November as the model was praised for its power and handling. Read our review of the 500e here.
UAW chooses FCA as lead bargaining company
Mon, Sep 14 2015The United Auto Workers has chosen Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as its lead bargaining company as it seeks to finalize new contracts with the 140,000 or so workers represented by the union. That doesn't mean the UAW won't continue to talk with Ford and General Motors. "All three companies have been working with UAW bargaining teams toward a collective bargaining agreement and continue to do so," UAW President Dennis Williams said in a statement. It does mean, however, that any deal the UAW strikes with FCA will form the basis of bargaining talks with the other two American automakers. Contracts between the UAW and the Detroit Three automakers are set to expire tonight at midnight. If no deal is made, both parties may vote to extend the previous contract. Industry analysts polled by The Detroit News suggest that a deal with FCA might be the most difficult to reach, since it is the smallest and least profitable of the three US car companies, and because of its high percentage of second-tier workers. There's a super short statement on the matter from the UAW, and there's an equally concise confirmation from FCA. Feel free to read them below. Detroit – The UAW this afternoon announced that FCA US LLC will be the lead target in Big Three auto talks. "All three companies are working hard toward a collective bargaining agreement. At this time, the UAW has selected FCA US LLC to be the lead bargaining company," said Dennis Williams, President of the UAW. "All three companies have been working with UAW bargaining teams toward a collective bargaining agreement and continue to do so." -------- Statement regarding the Status of Contract Talks between FCA US LLC and the UAW FCA US LLC confirms that it has been selected as the company to set pattern on a collective bargaining agreement with the UAW. As negotiations are ongoing, the Company can offer no further comment at this time.
Stellantis — seriously? Exploring the pros and cons of Chrysler’s new name
Fri, Jul 17 2020I took Wednesday off. I came in Thursday and Chrysler was renamed Stellantis. Aside from lighting Twitter on fire and drawing a lot of snarky responses from car journalists, the name is actually decent. Let’s look at it from a few angles. For starters, Chrysler, the 95-year-old automaker founded in Detroit by Walter P. Chrysler (his name still adorns everything from a major freeway in Michigan to an iconic art deco skyscraper in New York), isnÂ’t actually Chrysler. ItÂ’s FCA, which stands for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The name change actually happened in 2014, which you might have easily missed. The American unit, formerly Chrysler, is known as FCA US in some legal matters, but does not operate independently.  The Stellantis name takes effect in 2021. HereÂ’s why itÂ’s needed: Fiat Chrysler is merging with Group PSA. (Peugeot and Citroen) to form a transatlantic alliance that will be larger than even Ford. Stellantis sounds a lot better than FCA-PSA. Or PSA-FCA. You might poke fun at it, but it beats the alternatives. Or at least it could be worse. Stellantis is the name for the corporate entity that will house Chrysler, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen, and oh by the way, Opel and Vauxhall, which PSA bought in 2017 when GM unloaded its European arm. Your Jeep will not say Stellantis on the fender. Your Hemi Hellcat wonÂ’t say “powered by Stellantis” under the hood. Your Fiat 500 or Alfa Romeo Giulia will not have a script “Stellantis" crest. Speaking of that, roll call: HereÂ’s all of the brands that will be housed under the Stellantis umbrella: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Mopar, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Abarth, Ram, Lancia, Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Opel and Vauxhall. ThereÂ’s also a couple of lesser-known subsidiaries, Comau and Teksid, that sell parts. ThatÂ’s 18 brands. They have origins in Detroit, Paris, Turin, Chalton (England), Russelsheim (Germany) and several other places. All of these carmakers have deep histories. No one was going to agree on using someone elseÂ’s name. You might notice Chrysler is still in there. Chrysler as the brandname for the 300 sedan and Pacifica minivan lives on. Stellantis replaces FCA, which replaced Chrysler, as the name of the parent company. Yes, it's a little confusing. HereÂ’s more perspective. Chrysler was once owned by Cerberus, a three-headed dog that guards the gates of hell, according to mythology.
