2012 Fiat 500 Pop Hatchback 2door, Blue, Very Good Condition, 5 Speed, 1 Owner on 2040-cars
Wynantskill, New York, United States
I am currently selling my 2012 Fiat
500. The car has just gotten an exterior and interior detail job at Ziebart
($400.00)
and looks amazing! This has always been a smoke-free car. There are absolutely no mechanical problems. The car also has upgraded, premium wheels that the dealer put on! Shipping will be conducted locally if within 250 miles (I will drive it to you). If between 250 and 500 miles, I will meet halfway. If farther than 500 miles, the buyer will coordinate shipping in a convenient and timely manner. Payment can be handled though money order, certified check, PayPal, or cash- dependent on the method convenient to both parties. I am the only owner of this vehicle.
I bought it in August of 2012 because I thought I would be doing much more
driving than I currently do (it gets amazing gas mileage- over 30mpg city!).
Unfortunately I will be moving this summer and I will have no need for it. It
has been a great car, even in the harsh winters of Syracuse! It has front wheel
drive and it very heavy so it is surprisingly GREAT in the snow! I park it in a
parking garage daily so the only exposure to the weather it has gotten has been
when I take it out of the garage to drive it. It has low miles for a 2012; I have
only put about 10,000 miles a year on it, and these are mostly highway miles
(driving to and from Albany, NY and driving to and from Quantico, VA). I take very good care of my car. The
entire interior floor is lined with vinyl mats, and the back seat has a canvass
cover on it. I have no children, so no spills, stains, or anything like that.
It has gotten all regularly scheduled maintenance, is always serviced at a
qualified Chrysler/Fiat dealership (Romano Chrysler in Syracuse and Armory
Chrysler/Fiat in Albany), it gets washed at least once every three weeks, it
gets a full interior/exterior detail every spring and fall, and I have never
“red-lined”, “raced”, or driven it “hard”. I also got this car because it is
very safe (see specifics below). It is ranked as the safest car in its class
and it got a 5-Star side crash test rating! I am currently asking much under what is owed. I will however consider other reasonable
offers (no offers to trade please). Very low miles for a 2012! The car
has a sharp Azurro (Blue) exterior
and a super clean Ivory Interior interior! It gets great fuel economy with over
38 MPG on the highway! I am also willing to provide a

Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA
Tue, 08 Oct 2013The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.
Argentinians find stash of never-registered, brand-new 30-year-old Italian cars
Fri, Apr 3 2020While much of the world is sheltering in place, several new, never-registered Italian and French cars exited a 27-year confinement in Argentina. They were left for dead in an abandoned dealership that sold Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Peugeot models in a city named Avellaneda near Buenos Aires, the country's capital. Details surrounding the dealership are murky. Argentina's Autoblog (no relation to us) reported it closed at some point during the 1990s after the owner and his son died in violent circumstances. Automotive archaeology tells your author it likely shut its doors in 1993, because that's the only year in which the first-generation Fiat Ducato launched in 1981 and the post-facelift Fiat Tipo, axed in 1995, overlapped. Both are clearly visible in the photos. What's certain is that someone finally inherited the property in 2020 and wanted the cars gone as quickly as possible in order to sell it. The anonymous owner asked Kaskote Calcos, a local body shop that also runs a used-car lot, to haul them away via Instagram. We're guessing the firm didn't need to be asked twice.      View this post on Instagram            A post shared by Axel By Kaskote (@kaskotecalcos) on Mar 24, 2020 at 1:57pm PDT Many of the cars hidden in the dealership were made by Fiat; the photos show several examples of the Tipo, an Uno, a Tempra, and the aforementioned Ducato. An Alfa Romeo 33 wagon and a Peugeot 405 were also stashed in the trove. Most were stored indoors so they weren't damaged by sunlight or humidity, and images of the cars taken after they were pressure-washed confirm they're in like-new condition inside and out. We're told some even started, though for the love of valves and pistons we hope they got a new timing belt before being fired up. Kaskote Calcos hasn't revealed what it will do with the cars. None are particularly sought-after, they're economy cars that were mass-produced and mass-destroyed, and their current values reflect that. You can get a post-facelift Uno for the price of a few Peroni pints in Italy. The fact that they're new, never-registered examples will undoubtedly increase their appeal, even if registering them could require slashing through jungles of red tape. As a side note, finding a 405 beached in a Fiat dealership isn't as random as it might sound.
Fiat buying rest of Chrysler in $4.35 billion deal, IPO avoided
Wed, 01 Jan 2014Chrysler will now become a wholly owned member of the Fiat family, as it's been announced that the 41.46-percent stake in the Auburn Hills, MI-based manufacturer owned by the United Auto Workers' VEBA trust fund will be sold to the Italian company. Concluding the agreement will mark the closure of a piecemeal purchase process that could have resulted in an initial public offering.
The total cost of the sale will see the VEBA healthcare trust receive $4.35 billion, $3.65 billion of which will come from Fiat. $1.75 billion of that will be cash, while an additional $1.9 billion will be part of a "special distribution." An additional $700 million will be paid over four separate installments according to reports from Automotive News Europe and USA Today, although the shares will belong to Fiat following the first payment. The deal was reportedly initially struck on Sunday (though it is just being announced today), and is being portrayed as particularly good news for Fiat and Chrysler, which have now prevented the remaining shares going to the stock market in a UAW-forced IPO.
"The unified ownership structure will now allow us to fully execute our vision of creating a global automaker that is truly unique in terms of mix of experience, perspective and know-how, a solid and open organization that will ensure all employees a challenging and rewarding environment," Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne said in a statement.
