Fiat Dino does a sexy Ferrari impression

In the modern industry, there's a clear distinction between Ferrari and its parent company, Fiat. Confusing the two is virtually impossible, although that wasn't always so. In the 1960s, the line between Fiat and Ferrari was still there, but it wasn't nearly so well defined, thanks to the addition of the Dino line.
And while we could essentially write a dissertation on Ferrari, Dino and Fiat, let's just say that it wasn't at all difficult to find a Dino-badged car that could still set your hair on fire. One such car from those halcyon days of Italian automotive production is the 1968 Fiat Dino Spyder, shown in the latest video from Petrolicious.
Now, this isn't the exotic, mid-engined Dino. Rather, this is a sporty, but humble, Fiat-badged convertible, that's a bit lesser known. Still, it's a truly gorgeous car, and this example, owned by Danny Soukup, is a prime specimen of that rare 1960s Italian car. Scroll down for the latest video from Petrolicious.

LaFerrari still being honed at N"urburgring

Ferrari might have jumped the gun debuting the LaFerrari hypercar at the Geneva Motor Show, judging by these spy shots. There have already been rumors that the nearly 1,000-horsepower hybrid still needed some finalizing, but it seems really quite odd that we're seeing cars running with camo six months after the official debut.
So here are our theories as to what this might be. First, the likely case is that this car is merely taking part in finalization of the LaFerrari. The two more sensational theories we've brewed up are a bit more unlikely. This could be a prototype of the once-rumored Maserati MC12 successor, with the camo in place to hide sheetmetal specific to a Maserati. The second, and in our minds, least likely scenario, is that this is a prototype of a more hardcore or competition variant of the LaFerrari, along the lines of the Enzo-based FXX.
Admittedly, that last option is really grasping at straws, but the last camo'd car we saw sported a unique exhaust, that our spy noted as being significantly louder than an uncovered model that was running alongside. While the timing seems odd - a mere six months after the debut of a car that isn't even on sale yet - it's not outside of Ferrari custom to release more potent, track-only versions of its hypercars. Swiss photographer Fabian Oefner is known for splashing paint and deconstructing cars to create beautiful and unique images. Like Ferrari, Oefner combines art, design and science in his creations. So he was a natural choice when the automaker began looking for a unique way to introduce the2015 Ferrari California T to the world. After taking the California T for a test drive, Oefner wanted to convey the feeling of the swift 553-horsepower vehicle, according to PetaPixel. Oefner scaled up his past experiments with color and blasted $190,000 the sports car with gallons of UV activated paint. By doing it in a wind tunnel with nothing but UV lights blazing down on the car, he hoped to capture the quickness of the California T while the car itself remained motionless. The resulting video is astonishing. The Ferrari looks as if it's being pulled out of the darkness by brilliant rivers of glowing color.
