1985 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet Black with a tan interior. 47,000 miles. Fuel injected V-8 3 liter motor with four valves per cylinder, this is the same engine that is in the very famous and well loved Ferrari 308 series, it is fitted to a 5 speed transmission, the car drives nicely and sounds wonderful. I have owned this car about 7 years,in that time I put a few hundred miles on it, while I did not use it a lot, I made sure to regularly exercise the car so it would not sit around. I had a major service performed when I got the car and then last year I had a friend replace the timing belts since the major was still fresh and the belts were due time wise. The car runs great, the windows all work, it is a wonderful driving example of the Ferrari Mondial Convertible. The paint shows very nicely and looks great. The seat leather is dried and there are some cracks in the seats, I just put seat covers on them and it was fine with me. The mileage on the car fax report shows a discrepancy it didn't bother me because the car ran so well and with the exception of the seat leather it is a nice car. Black is the best color for this model Mondial, the black paint matches the black bumpers so they do not appear to stick out as they do with other colors. Car is located in northwestern Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City. Twin LaFerraris roar around Fiorano
Wed, 18 Sep 2013What could possibly be better than a Ferrari LaFerrari running at full clip on the Italian brand's Fiorano test track? The answer is obviously two LaFerraris, both doing hot laps. So far as we know, this is the first time we've had an unadulterated listen - outside of the car, that is - to the latest Ferrari hypercar when it's being ran hard. There's no voiceover or music, just that righteous, hybridized V12.
We're told that the first LaFerrari, without camo, is a production model, while the other car is said to be testing a different exhaust setup. It sounds slightly different, and according to the videographer, it was noticeably louder than the production car. Take a look below for the full 2:48 of Italian V12 noise.

Grand Prix weekend. It is almost always applied to the weather, because the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - perhaps all of Belgium - resides in some sort of climatological Narnia, its ADD skies totally unable to settle on a reliable behavior.
A dry Friday turned into a thoroughly wet qualifying on Saturday. When Q3 had done, Nico Rosberg would line up on pole position for the fourth race in a row for Mercedes AMG Petronas, after teammate Lewis Hamilton had another brake problem, this time glazing on one of the discs. Infiniti Red Bull Racing engineered a low-downforce setup and Sebastian Vettel took the best advantage, lining up third and making us wonder if the magic was back. Fernando Alonso drove the first Ferrari to fourth, the Spaniard saying he thought a podium was possible. Daniel Ricciardo put the second Infiniti Red Bull Racing in fifth, Valtteri Bottas behind him in the first Williams, then Kimi Räikkönen in the second Ferrari, Felipe Massa in the second Williams and Jenson Button in the sole McLaren in the top ten.
Ferrari-driving kid's parents charged by Indian police [w/video]
Tue, 30 Apr 2013Earlier this month, we reported on a video that was circulating the internet which showed a young boy driving a Ferrari F430 on a street in India while other children watched and two adults recorded the whole thing. And that was all that we knew at the time. Now, there is more information about the car, the kids and their parents thanks to an article in the Daily Mail. As it turns out, a wealthy businessman let his son drive the Ferrari as a present for his ninth birthday and recorded the whole thing while his six-year-old son was riding shotgun.
According to the report, the father, Muhammad Nizam, faces charges and possibly the seizure of the car for letting his son get behind the wheel. Oddly enough, the video is still up on YouTube, and we have it posted for you below.
