1983 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole . This is a No Reserve Auction. She is running and driving but Needs Work. I drive her around the neighborhood and small parades. Red in color with Tan Leather interior as you can see the license are current. She starts and runs but I have not had her out on the highway to see what she will do, all the gears work, lights work, horn works, wipers, brakes, clutch, lights, windows, etc. Tires are O.K. but dry. the paint looks original as far as I can tell but the trunk has been repainted, all needs to be polished up. NO Broken Glass and NO RUST.... What she needs is the power antenna is broken, brakes are soft, speedo does not work I have not looked into that for I drive her slow and do not need it. A/C comes on but does not cool, windows are slow but they work. Leaks a little oil I do not know where from. All other gauges seem to work including the Gas gauge. Brake pads look O.K. Headlights go up and down and come on High and Low beam. I have ALL the paperwork on here since Imported into the States and All items repaired with parts list. The belt service was done I think in 1996. I have removed the rear inner fenders to make repairs easier with the rear jacked up and tires off, they will come with the car. The spare tire is in her and so is the jack and tools this will be included. She starts up cold but after a while and shutting her down and sitting is a little stubborn to start but pump on the accelerator pedal and she fires up. I'm sure I have forgotten something in my description of repairs. A deposit will be required after the auction ends of 400.00 dollars. Cash or Certified funds only for the balance, I reserve the right to end the auction Early or Cancel a Bidder for poor feedback. 210-870-6940 You may call me if you wish. The miles are in Kilometers and equals out to about 50,000.0 miles also the VIN is ZFFLD14B000045235 ebay could not list it for some reason.Thank You.

2015 Ferrari California T [w/video]
Tue, 03 Jun 2014I'll never forget the day I bought my very first Ferrari. It was a bright-red F40, I'd saved up for it for what felt like an eternity and I couldn't wait to get home so I could park it next to my other four-wheeled piece of pride and joy, a stealth-black Lamborghini Countach, so I could compare their blunt-edge, wedge-like shapes and massive spoilers in microscopic detail.
The year was 1987, and the event felt like the pinnacle of my life's achievement. Though both of my Italians had been die-cast in 1/18th scale, I coveted the two supercars with the verve of a true collector, taking in the intricacies of their engine bays, opening their doors and turning their working steering wheels. In reality, the two could have hardly been more different, and yet they both looked like finely crafted perfection to my seven-year-old eyes, their questionable day-to-day practicality completely overshadowed by their unquestionably exotic shapes.
More than two decades later, I'm belting myself into the driver's seat of the 2015 Ferrari California T, the first turbocharged Ferrari since the F40 went out of production in 1992. The Tuscan countryside spreads out ahead, a twisting barrage of two-lane roads on the agenda, and I can't help but reminisce of my much younger self as I twist the red key and thumb the equally red ignition button on the steering wheel.
$80M Ferrari deal would make Vettel world's highest-paid sportsman
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Formula One is in for a big shakeup next season, as the only two multiple World Champions on the grid are kicking off a game of musical chairs. Just who will end up where has yet to be figured out, but the overwhelmingly prevailing wisdom has Sebastian Vettel, who has already announced his departure from Red Bull, inking a contract with Ferrari worth 150 million pounds sterling for three years - that works out to over $80 million per year.
If the reports are true, that would make Vettel (pictured above with his assumed new teammate Kimi Raikkonen) the highest-salaried sportsman in the world. Compared to Vettel's rumored $80 million/year, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo was paid $52 million last year and NFL quarterback Matt Ryan got $42 million, just ahead of soccer player Lionel Messi at $41.7 million. Boxer Floyd Mayweather was reportedly paid a whopping $100 million last year, but that's based on how many fights he fights and wins, putting him on a different earnings spectrum.
Those figures are also just for salaries, and do not include sponsorship and endorsement deals - and therein may lie part of the reason for Vettel's reportedly stratospheric salary. In addition to his salary from the Red Bull team with which he's won four World Championships, Vettel also pulls in a large retainer from Infiniti, which sponsors both the team and himself personally. In departing Red Bull, he'd undoubtedly have to sever the tie with Infiniti as well.
Race Recap: At the Abu Dhabi grand prix, the caravan chases a mirage
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Both championships have been claimed this year, with Sebastian Vettel taking the Driver Championship and Infiniti Red Bull Racing the Constructor's. But there's no skunk rule in Formula One, so the last three races of the schedule are going on as scheduled.
Abu Dhabi was the latest venue, and what the Yas Marina Circuit has lacked in racing excitement, it has more than made up for in drama. It's where Lewis Hamilton always does well and should have won but for an engine blow-up. That lead to Kimi Räikkönen taking the first win of his return, and giving Lotus its first win. It's where a championship was decided when Fernando Alonso was stuck behind Vitaly Petrov and Timo Glock and couldn't put up a fight against Vettel. And this year, it was where Mark Webber again out-qualified his Red Bull teammate and grabbed pole, just three rounds away from retirement.
He was followed by Vettel, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas pair of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, the unstoppable Nico Hülkenberg in the first Sauber in fifth, Romain Grosjean in the first Lotus, Felipe Massa in the first Ferrari, Sergio Perez in the McLaren, Daniel Ricciardo in the Toro Rosso and Alonso in the second Ferrari in tenth. Tenth.
