1964 Ferrari 250 LM expected to net $12-15 million at RM's NY auction

If you're one of the very fortunate souls that has $12 to $15 million burning a very large hole in your pocket, we've found the perfect way to liberate yourself from the burden of so much money - buy this Ferrari, which is being put up for auction. It's a supremely rare Ferrari 250 LM, the 24th member of a 32-car run, that rolled off the assembly line on what we imagine was a brilliant, sunny Italian summer's day in July of 1964.
Officially known as Chassis 6107, this 250 LM is rare because unlike its brothers, it wasn't originally bought to be a race car. Its first owner used it more or less as a toy, both around town and on the infamous Mulholland Drive, in California. After a pair of owners, it found its way into the hands of an Ecuadorian pair, who kicked off its racing career. Its best result was at the 1968 24 Hours of Daytona, where it finished eighth overall and first in class, although subsequent runs at Daytona and Sebring were less successful. Its most recent owner was a Japanese collector, who purchased the car in 1983 and has had it on display ever since.

Ken Block's Gymkhana 8 to feature Dubai Police cars?

Yesterday we showed you the shiny Ford Fiesta that Ken Block will slide, spin, and hoon through the next Gymkhana video. In case the image above isn't clear, that video will drop at midnight EST on February 30th on the Ford Performance YouTube channel. We don't know all the entire premise of the video yet, but this Tweet from the man himself reveals that the video will be set in Dubai. Block is standing on the Fiesta we saw yesterday, and arrayed behind him are a handful of those famous Dubai Police cars you're probably familiar with. The force has a fleet of sportscars and supercars, and the purpose is outreach and goodwill among its citizenry, not necessarily the pursuit of criminals. This content is hosted by a third party. From left to right, we can see a Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911, what looks to be a Nissan GT-R obscured by Block's Fiesta, a McLaren (likely a 650S), Ford Mustang, and a Ferrari 599 of some ilk. Ferrari makes its return to Need For Speed: Rivals in a big way

With all the excitement over Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6, it's easy to forget that there's another racing game from an even older franchise coming out. The latest Need For Speed installment, Rivals, is set to hit stores November 15 (this Friday) for the Playstation 4, November 19 for PS3 and XBox 360, and November 22 for the XBox One. As part of the run up to the launch, we have a great look at all the new Ferrari content for the new title, which marks only the second time the Italian marque has been in an NFS game.
The last time we saw a prancing horse in Need For Speed was 2009's Shift, when we got ten models as part of a paid, downloadable pack. In anticipation of Ferrari's return to the series, we've got a gallery of images of some of the featured models, like the F12 Berlinetta (which we've shown you before), the FF, the Enzo, the 599 GTO and both the 458 Italia and Spider. All of which are bound to make for phenomenal tools for escaping the virtual cops.
