The single-seat racecars themselves may be the most impressive bits of machinery a Formula One team brings to the circuit, but the vehicles you see on the track are not the end of the story. The trucks in which they're transported and which serve as mobile bases for the team's trackside operations are almost as impressive in their own right, and now a pair of these tractor-trailers are available for sale. Only they're not from just any team – they're from Scuderia Ferrari. This pair of transporters include two scarlet red Iveco Stralis tractors and a pair of matching custom trailers made by AstaCar in Reggio Emilia, just 45 minutes down the autostrada from Maranello. One trailer was made to transport the F1 cars, and the other as a mobile office and repair shop. They can deploy once parked to a height of 23 feet for two floors and cover an area of over 2,000 square feet. The trailers were commissioned by Ferrari back in 2003 during the height of the Michael Schumacher era. They were used by the team as its rolling base of operations and trackside hospitality at grands prix across Europe for ten years, upgraded incrementally along the way until they were replaced halfway through last season. They've even still got the nameplates of former team principal Stefano Domenicali and drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa on the doors. The constructor is putting them up for sale, and while they wouldn't disclose for publication how much they're asking for the pair, commissioning a new setup like this one – complete with tractors, trailers and all the fixins – would set you back a cool ˆ2 million (about $2.5 million at today's rates) plus applicable taxes. Whether they're worth less than that now for their wear or whether the championships and race wins that were orchestrated from these rolling pieces of racing history make them even more valuable is a matter the buyer will need to negotiate with the seller, but you're invited to scope 'em out on the sale page and in the images above, as well as the videos of the manufacturer's work below. LaFerrari for sale in Florida for $4.7 million

Want to get your hands on a new LaFerrari? It's gonna cost you, and cost you big. The factory charged $1.35 million for each of the 499 it will ever make, but you can bet speculators will be selling them for much more than that. Just take a look at this listing from Florida. The Fort Lauderdale Collection South has one LaFerrari for sale with an asking price of $4.7 million. That's more than triple what Ferrari charged for it. The example in question bears the VIN ZFF76ZFA2E0205216 and appears to have been built for the US market in September 2014. It's done up in the classic combination of Rosso Corsa over a black interior and has just 388 miles on the odometer. It has a few options installed, including carbon-fiber side mirrors, a sports exhaust, and Prancing Horse logos embroidered into the headrests. Each of those options is worth a good grand or two on top of the list price, but their addition doesn't go very far toward explaining the enormous markup. With no other examples of LaFerrari having been sold at auction just yet, we don't have much of an indication of how much they're worth on the open market. According to Sports Car Market, the most anyone paid for the previous Enzo was just over $6 million this past August at the RM Sotheby's sale in Monterey, but that was the final example of the breed that was gifted to Pope John Paul II. Ferrari 250 GT California nets $17 million at Amelia Island

The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider is famed for its feature (in replica form) in "Ferris Beuller's Day Off" and as one of the more valuable Ferrari models. This year's Gooding & Company auction at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance have has cemented that with a high-dollar example. This 250 is indeed a real example, one of just 56 ever made, and only 37 with those desirable covered headlights. This was the first time this particular example was ever offered for sale to the public in its 55-year history, and it fetched $17.16 million at the Florida concours over the weekend. That's not quite enough to take the record for this highly sought-after model. According to Sports Car Market, that still belongs to the barn-find example that Artcurial sold last year for over $18 million. But it did beat its own pre-sale estimates, and was enough to top Gooding's list as well as that of Amelia Island.
