2010 Ferrari 458 Italia - Ferrari Certified Pre Owned, Award Winning Color Combination

Finished in Daytona Nero with Chocolate Diamond Stitched Leather & Yellow Deviated Stitching & Black Carpets with 20" Smoked Forged Alloys.

This car was originally spec'd by a longtime Ferrari collector with discerning taste.  It has all the options you want and none you don't.  It is truly a flawless automobile.  An amazing, understated yet classy and tasteful combination.  Pairs perfectly with Daytona Nero exterior.   This car has won numerous awards for "Best in Show" for the combination.  (these awards will be included with sale).   Yellow stitching plays off the yellow Ferrari emblem and yellow calipers perfectly.  Daytona Nero has incredible paint depth and looks amazing, especially in sunlight.

The car is in immaculate, showroom condition.  1 owner for a majority of it's life.  I've only owned the car briefly and purchased through dealer from the original owner.  Full Factory Warranty still in effect until almost 2015.  Production date of July 2010.

The car was washed and covered after each and every drive and stored in a temperature controlled garage it's entire life.  It has covered only 6900 miles since it was delivered from the Factory.  Ferrari Certification took place in April of 2013, and along with it came a full service, including alignment.  Ferrari Certification plus Full Factory Service cost over $10,000.

The car is completely bone stock, as it came from Maranello.  No aftermarket modifications (i.e. radar detectors, stereo upgrades, etc) other than a Clear-Bra and Ferrari Skid Plates have been installed.

Factory Window Sticker was $278k.  Options include:
  • AFS (Factory Xenons w/Headlight Swivel)
  • Diamond Stitched Seats and Rear Parcel
  • Electrostatic Mirror w/Homelink
  • Dashboard in Leather
  • Steering Wheel in Matching Leather
  • 20" Forged Alloys
  • Scuderia Shields
  • Power Seats
  • Ferrari iPod Adapter
  • Navigation w/Bluetooth
  • $19,961 in "Other Options" (i.e. tons of detail options including suede map door pockets, suede sun visors, and much more)
  • Ferrari "Skid Plates" were Installed at the Dealer
  • Dealer Installed "3M Clear Film/ClearBra" that is impossible to notice but protects front end from Road Debris
Included in the sale will be all the items the car came with when new including:
  • 2 sets of Factory Keys w/Integrated Remote
  • Ferrari Air Kit (still sealed)
  • All Books, including Pouch, Owners Manual, Radio/Nav Manual, and all Original Pamphlets
  • Ferrari Silk Cover w/Matching Steering Wheel & Seat Covers
  • Factory Window Sticker that has been laminated for safe keeping
Things to note about this specific car:
  • Car is Factory Certified, so you are buying a car that still has Ferrari Factory Warranty almost thru 2015 - It's a completely worry free purchase!
  • Award Winning Color Combination - car was shown at numerous events and the awards will be included in the sale
  • Fully Serviced and is Completely Ready to Drive and Enjoy!  Compare that to other cars on market.
  • Car includes everything it came with when new, except the "$278k" price.
  • CarFax is immaculate and the car has absolutely no History of Paintwork or any Damage whatsoever
  • New Car Scent is still in effect, just like it came off the showroom floor.
  • The seats are in literally New condition, with no major wear on the bolsters (unlike others on the market) - check the pictures.
  • All Service Records since the car was new are available from the Dealer that Delivered It & Certified It
  • Color combination is incredible - Daytona Nero is one of the most amazing colors on the 458 (Red 458s just don't have the same presence this car has)
  • The Smoked Forged Alloys are the Best Looking Wheels on the 458, Hands Down
  • Diamond Stitched Seats provide the classiest and richest look on the 458
  • Some items are still in Factory Original Wrapping
Terms of Purchase
  • I am happy to show the car by appointment only.  PPIs are welcome pending an acceptable purchase arrangement.
(remember the car is still under factory warranty).
  • Please Serious Inquiries Only.  No Wholesalers Please or Advertisers looking to "Place" the car.
  • Clean Title in Hand.  If you need to finance, that's OK, but I prefer a cash purchaser.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and a Final Four of automakers | Autoblog Podcast #723

Fri, Apr 1 2022

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski. We start out with news on the Lotus Eletre and Ferrari Purosangue. These two high-end crossovers are followed by discussions about the new inline-six engines from Stellantis and an overabundance of Hummer EV orders. Next we try something we've never tried before: ranking automaker blue bloods. We took inspiration from the current NCAA tournament, which features Duke, North Carolina, Villanova and Kansas — very much traditional blue-blood basketball programs — to name our Final Four automakers. Let us know if you agree or disagree with our picks and what your definition of a blue blood car brand is. We wrap up with a discussion about the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk that Jeremy's been driving all week. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Tax The Rich goes slow-mo with a Ferrari F50

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

What is it about slow-motion video that makes everything so much cooler? Whether it's as simple as slapshot during a hockey game or as complex as a hypercar, filming in slow motion adds a new sense of depth, technicality and beauty to the subject. That's especially true when the video in question includes a rare Ferrari F50 and the team from Tax The Rich.
One Autoblog staffer called it "mesmerizing" the first time he watched it, and we're certainly inclined to agree. The F50 has never been a very pretty car, but in this setting, it's somehow incredibly compelling, as it drifts around a corner and does donuts at an agonizingly slow pace. Scroll down for the entire video, and let us know what you think in Comments.

Totaled Ferrari Dino sculpture sold for $250k

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

How much would you pay for a Dino? Although this sub-brand was supposed to offer lower-cost alternatives to more expensive Ferraris, a 246 GTS model with "chairs and flares" can fetch big bucks. The later, more angular 308 GT4 is less desirable, but the one above just sold for $250,000. Oh, and it's a complete wreck - an absolute write-off, as you can see. So how did it fetch a quarter million when it wouldn't be worth that much in pristine condition? Because this is art.
"Objet trouvé", to be specific, the French term for a common object elevated to a work of art. That's the way it ended up displayed by celebrated French artist Bertrand Lavier and the Galerie Yvon Lambert at the Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain (FIAC) art fair at the Grand Palais in Paris last week, where an unnamed Turkish collector paid the landmark price. Let's hope he's not planning on restoring it, because it's apparently worth more totaled.
