Everything works perfectly and there are no mechanical or aesthetic issues whatsoever.

When I purchased the car the previous owner told me the car was in for service at the dealer and the lower rocker panel got a very very  small scratch from the 2 post lift pad that was no cleared from the car when it was backed out of the service bay. The minor mark (noted as right rear lower on the report) was repaird and due to it happening at the dealer the insurance was involved to document it, I did the research and this was so minor , less than 1 inch but the dealer is the dealer and it was repaired and can not be noticed. In fact I could not even find it when I was told about it but wanted to mention because it does pops up on the car report. The rockers are now 3M coated for additional protection.

The car also shows 4 owners, if you look at the history and i actiually followed up by phone, the car was dealer owned and transfered couting as 2. I have service records from the original actual owners who drove and serviced the car. When I purchased the car I followed up directly with the dealers noted as having worked on the car.  The car checked out and was given the best reviewes. My final pre purchase inspection was done by Ferrai of Washington who provided a final draft letter that I have in hand to confirm the car was in top shape when i purchased it.

Orginal US car with service records included.

******   I will provide the buyer with up to $1000.00 to use with any carrier of your choice to asssist in shipping the car to your front door ******

Hot Wheels loses Ferrari diecast contract to Chinese company

Thu, Dec 11 2014

If you're anything like this writer, chances are you've got a diecast model or two kicking around the house. And if one of those models replicates a Ferrari, chances are it's made by Hot Wheels. The Mattel brand secured an exclusive contract from the Maranello automaker in the late 1990s, but the latest word from Hemmings has it that Ferrari has ended its partnership with Hot Wheels and awarded it instead to the May Cheong Group. Unless you're an avid diecast collector, you may not have heard of May Cheong, but you may have heard of its brands Maisto and Bburago. Both brands are longtime players in the model car market, but it's the Bburago part of the deal that's particularly interesting. Founded in Italy, Bburago made a name for itself largely due to the scale Ferrari models it made back in the day. But when the Prancing Horse marque awarded the exclusive contract to Mattel, and with increasing competition from the Far East, Bburago collapsed. May Cheong swept in and scooped it up, and now the Italian model brand, along with its onetime rival Maisto, will be producing diecast Ferraris once again. Whether Bburago will use any of its old tooling to resume production of Ferrari scale models or start from scratch with all-new equipment remains to be seen, as does the matter of whether either it or Maisto will be able to produce the same quality of models as Hot Wheels has with some of its higher-end offerings. Like most collectors, this writer's looking forward to finding out. Looks like it's time to buy another display case.

Ferrari 458 Speciale A trots out its 597 sun-drenched ponies [w/video]

Thu, Oct 2 2014

To say that Ferrari has made some powerful drop-tops over the years would be like saying the Pope has been known to make a couple of blessings here and there. There was the F50, the 575 Superamerica and the 599 SA Aperta, to name just a few. But this is the most powerful Spider it has ever made. Taking its curtain call at the Paris Motor Show today is the new Ferrari 458 Speciale A – successor to the F430-based 16M Scuderia Spider and lovechild of the 458 Spider and 458 Speciale. That means it's got the same 4.5-liter V8 – all 597 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of it – as the Speciale coupe, but with the folding aluminum roof from the Spider. Best of both worlds, as they say - especially with a 0-62 time quoted at three seconds flat. But since Maranello will only produce less than 500 of them, you'd better check it out in our gallery of live shots above. This content is hosted by a third party. Watch Edo Competition pit a Ferrari FXX against a Maserati MC12 Corsa on the 'Ring

Fri, 03 May 2013

High-zoot supercar tour organizer Gran Turismo Events held its annual Nürburgring track day last month, and in addition to the amateur punters the gates were opened to two tuned supercars from Edo Competition: A Maserati MC12 Corsa and a Ferrari Enzo ZXX. The ZXX, in case you've forgotten, is the same love child of Edo Competition and Zahir Rana's ZR Exotics that belly flopped into the Atlantic during the 2011 Targa Newfoundland.
We get a trip around the Nordschleife with both cars during a no-doubt quick but not insane lap, on board with driver Patrick Simon in the 755-horsepower MC12 and 'Ring queen Sabine Schmitz following in the 840-hp ZXX.
That should be all the build-up you need when the action's in the video below.
