2004 Ferrari 360 Spider 6,150 Miles Perfect on 2040-cars
Eatontown, New Jersey, United States
You are looking at a 2004 Ferrari Spider with F1 transmission. Car has a little over 6,100 miles and is in perfect condition both inside and out. No sticky buttons or stretching on the leather like found on most 360's. Has all books, seat covers, car cover and factory trickle charger which is still in it's plastic seal. It is also wired with an after market battery charger. Seats are perfect with almost no wear what's so ever. Options include Red brake calipers, Hi Fi Audio with Sub woofer, Power Daytona seats, CD Changer and Challenge Grill. No paint work or accidents and has a clean car fax record. I am the second owner but car fax may show that I am the 3rd since the first owner leased it first. I purchased the car certified from Ferrari of Central NJ. I am a BMW guy at heart and traded my 2013 F10 M5 for this car. I love the car and had fun with it but it's time to get a new M6 now. There are no issues or stories with this car. First person that see's it will buy it! This is one of the cleanest 360's anywhere. It is located at the Jersey Shore off of exit 105 on the Garden State Parkeway. Contact me with any questions.
Thank you. |

Hot Wheels loses Ferrari diecast contract to Chinese company
Thu, Dec 11 2014If you're anything like this writer, chances are you've got a diecast model or two kicking around the house. And if one of those models replicates a Ferrari, chances are it's made by Hot Wheels. The Mattel brand secured an exclusive contract from the Maranello automaker in the late 1990s, but the latest word from Hemmings has it that Ferrari has ended its partnership with Hot Wheels and awarded it instead to the May Cheong Group. Unless you're an avid diecast collector, you may not have heard of May Cheong, but you may have heard of its brands Maisto and Bburago. Both brands are longtime players in the model car market, but it's the Bburago part of the deal that's particularly interesting. Founded in Italy, Bburago made a name for itself largely due to the scale Ferrari models it made back in the day. But when the Prancing Horse marque awarded the exclusive contract to Mattel, and with increasing competition from the Far East, Bburago collapsed. May Cheong swept in and scooped it up, and now the Italian model brand, along with its onetime rival Maisto, will be producing diecast Ferraris once again. Whether Bburago will use any of its old tooling to resume production of Ferrari scale models or start from scratch with all-new equipment remains to be seen, as does the matter of whether either it or Maisto will be able to produce the same quality of models as Hot Wheels has with some of its higher-end offerings. Like most collectors, this writer's looking forward to finding out. Looks like it's time to buy another display case.
Race Recap: 2014 US Grand Prix goes the English way yet again
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Thankfully, the weekend's Formula One dramas all concerned events that happened off the track, with both Caterham and Marussia going into administration, after which a rumored boycott by the small teams was avoided. That gave the 18 drivers left on the grid freedom to focus on making the most of the Texas sunshine for Sunday's US Grand Prix.
Having finished two Free Practices behind teammate Mercedes AMG Petronas teammate Lewis Hamilton, the second one just .003 behind, Nico Rosberg said he had speed in hand and proved it during qualifying, beating Hamilton to the top spot by four-tenths of a second. Williams drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa came behind, followed by Daniel Ricciardo in the Infiniti Red Bull Racing, Fernando Alonso in the Ferrari, the McLaren duo of Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen, Kimi Räikkönen in the second Ferrari, and little-team Sauber bursting out of the storm clouds into tenth, Adrian Sutil making the team's first-time Q3 appearance all year.
When it came time to race, the carbon-fiber fisticuffs began on the first lap.
Petrolicious highlights Andy Greene's love of Ferrari in "The Caretaker"
Wed, 09 Jan 2013The next stop on the Petrolicious tour of the nation's car stories is Savannah, Georgia. The crew sat down with restorer Andy Greene of Andy Greene's Sports and Vintage Race Cars, and he waxed poetic about his love of Ferraris. See, the shop will work on vintage models and classic road racing cars from other brands, but when it comes to Ferrari, any model from any year can find a place in Greene's garage.
And we'll admit that the yellow Ferrari 250 SWB helps make Greene's case. You can see for yourself what he's talking about in the video below.
