After much contemplation, I have decided to sell my CS. It is absolutely one of the most amazing cars I have ever drive, but it just does not seem to fit into my lifestyle at the moment. If it was one of a dozen cars, sure, but it overlaps with my race car too much and isn't practical for day to day errands. Not sure what I will repalce it with, maybe a Boxster Spyder. Anyway I hope to find a good home for her.

Ferrari F40 GT goes all Farmkhana for Tax the Rich
Sun, Jan 24 2016Tax the Rich has thrown a number of Ferrari supercars around the farm in bouts of eyebrow-raising madness. It's featured a 288 GTO, a couple of F50s, even an Enzo. All it was missing was an F40, but its latest video installment corrects that in spectacular style. The self-styled Farmkhana gurus haven't just brought out any old F40 for this video, but a competition-spec F40 GT – and one with considerable pedigree. Chassis number 74047 was the sixth of only seven built, showcased after its construction at the 1987 Frankfurt Motor Show and converted to racing specification by Michelotto in 1991. The factory's racing partner managed to squeeze a massive 590 horsepower out of it, dropped the suspension, upgraded the brakes, and generally turned the beast way up past eleven. Privateer racer Luca Sartori campaigned it in the Italian GT Championship in the early '90s, winning races at Imola, Monza, and Mugello. The long and short of it is that this is a rather spectacular supercar, even among the rarified breed of F40 racecars. Which only makes it that much more shocking to see what they've done with it in this video. We'll let you watch the two-minute clip yourself to see how it unfolds, but suffice it to say it does not end well. Or at least that's what we're lead to believe.
Ferrari Speciale and Porsche GT3 make the trip to Le Mans
Thu, Aug 6 2015Call it a pilgrimage. Call it a right of passage. The bottom line is that every racing fan should make the trip to Le Mans at some point. All the better if you can do it in style, as Evo has for this latest video. Instead of taking any old car through the Chunnel and along the French countryside to the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, Evo made the trip in the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3. Both are more extreme versions of the already capable sports cars. They're still naturally aspirated, drive the rear wheels through seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and both won top honors in Evo's car of the year awards upon their release. And we could hardly imagine better vehicles for the journey. Along the way, the convoy-of-two stopped by the side of the old Rouen-Les-Essarts circuit. Back in the 1950s and 60s it was regarded as one of Europe's finest street circuits, hosting the French Grand Prix five times. It was closed down and paved over in the decades that followed, and is today part of a public thoroughfare – but you can still drive around it and see some of the relics of its former self peering through. Ferrari California T has a turbo V8 lurking under new nose [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Ferrari California might technically be the Prancing Horse's entry-level model, but there is nothing basic about the latest upgrade for the California T. Showing its face to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, it is now propelled by a 3.9-liter, turbocharged V8 with 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque, which equates to an extra 70 hp and a 49 percent increase in torque over the previous engine.
The forced induction mill is enough to accelerate it to 62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. Also not that many Ferrari buyers are going to care, but the switch also means a 15 percent improvement in fuel economy. Oh, and based on the video preview below, it sounds pretty good, too.
While the new engine is certainly the headline grabber, there are other upgrades as well: a top that closes in 14 seconds, new steering box, improved magnetic dampers and an upgraded traction control system. Pininfarina also reshaped the nose to make it more look like Ferraris of the 1960s. This is seems to be the best looking and performing California yet.
