Jonesborough, Tennessee, United States
Here is a absolutely beatuiful Ferrari .
Black on Tan with black top. I just had about 2 weeks ago the engine out service and EVERYTHING WAS DONE to the tune of 22K see pictures of reciept. The car drives like brand new. I had everything update done from NEW Michelin tires to valve guides. All new belts, a COMPLETE new Stainless steel exhaust from the heads to the tail pipes. The muffler is a fuchs and sounds unreal. All new tenioners, New timing belts I mean all of it. I had both heads completely redone to eliminate guide issues all new valves, all new Valve springs, competion valve job and New Ferrari gasket set If you want a real 6 Speed car and drive it anywhere you want for years to come here it is. I am a aircraft owner and I take care of the car like my baby. The mileage is around 24K . The body and paint look stunning I keep it heated in winter and it also has the battery charger. The car has the tan tonue cover not sure if I pictured it. Come take a look at the Car if you dont like it walk away no problem . BUT make sure you have money. I can help with shipping if needed but come drive it home its more fun. I get 18 mpg city and 25 on the hiway. There is no better sound than a Ferrari 355 at full throttle look on youtube I have seen several on there running wide open. AC and heat work great. Top fuctions perfect. Why am I selling it my problem is I have 2 Grand kids and both cant ride and I just cant get time to myself anymore so if it fits your lifestyle your good to go. Look at the pictures closely. There is a door ping on the pass side but no way to get a picture of it. I see it but no one else has very minor Just wanted to let you know.Jim |

Will this 1966 Ferrari three-seater surpass $20M at Pebble Beach auction?
Fri, 25 Jul 2014With a week of lavish automotive events coming up centered around the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August, some of the highest profile auto auctions in the world are about to take place. Hearing about Ferrari Testa Rossas and 250 GTOs going for tens of millions of dollars during these events is commonplace, but Gooding & Company is bringing a unique Prancing Horse to sell in California that could be a record-breaker for the company.
The car in question is the drop-dead gorgeous 1966 Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale with just 7,900 kilometers (4,910 miles) on the clock that's pictured above, and it checks all of the boxes to make it incredibly desirable. First off, just look at it. The flowing lines and giant, tinted moonroof really make this Ferrari a head-turner. Inside, it has the distinctive feature of three seats with the driver slightly forward in the middle, kind of like the McLaren F1. And what a view from behind the wheel with all of the expansive glass in front of and above the driver. According to the auction listing, Pininfarina displayed the Speciale at a variety of international motor shows in 1966 and 1967.
If the looks aren't enough, then the provenance puts this Ferrari over the top, for sure. Underneath those gorgeous lines is the chassis from a Ferrari 365 P2 endurance racer. The sale claims that this was the first mid-engine, Ferrari 12-cylinder model created from the start as a road car. After touring with Pininfarina, it went to Luigi Chinetti, the first man to sell a Prancing Horse in the US and the boss of the company's North American Racing Team. He sold it twice, but the Speciale has been in the hands of the Chinetti since 1969.
BMW hires Ferrari chief engineer Fedeli
Wed, 08 Oct 2014There's going to be a little bit more Prancing Horse in some future BMWs because the Bavarian brand is hiring Ferrari chief engineer Roberto Fedeli to join the company in November. Fedeli's new position is still somewhat of a mystery though, and he reportedly might be lending his talents to the high performance M division or possibly even Rolls-Royce. When asked by Automotive News Europe, BMW said that it "currently can't say what his role will be."
Regardless of his new job, Fedeli was a big get for BMW because of his strong résumé. He has been with Ferrari since 1988 and led the engineering for the famous Italian automaker's vehicles since 2007. Fedeli tendered his resignation in September at around the same time that chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced his decision to leave the company. However, Ferrari told ANE that there was no connection between the two events.
Ferrari teases more specs on its Enzo successor
Mon, 24 Dec 2012On its web site, Ferrari has divulged a little more info about the supercar that will succeed the Ferrari Enzo. The Ferrari magazine reported that everything the Scuderia has learned in Formula One has gone into its soon-to-be-revealed animal, and this latest disclosure shows just how much that's true. We don't know its length or width, but Ferrari says one of the targets for the car was "a reduction in height and wheelbase to match that of the 458 Italia."
Rory Byrne, the Ferrari F1 designer that's been involved in 11 world championships for the team, has spent three years contributing to chassis development. That chassis will be laid up by hand in the company's F1 composites department, each chassis composed of different kinds of carbon fiber and cured in an autoclave, F1 monocoque-style. That's part of where the lighter weight and vastly heightened torsional and beam rigidity versus the Enzo comes from. Just behind the tub - and behind the driver's back - will be the batteries and fuel tank, again, just as on an F1 car.
The cockpit will be personalized to the driver in a way that is rare among road cars, with each seat made-to-measure for the driver and then set in a fixed position in the cabin. The steering wheel and pedal box will move to accommodate pilots. What's more, we're told that "the occupant's feet are at the same level as the driving position." That, and the angle of the seatback, will provide "an extraordinarily racy feeling."
