Only 9,885 ORIGINAL ONE OWNER MILES
Up for auction is my Yellow/Black 1999 Ferrari 355 F-1 GTS Targa Top. I special ordered this car from Ferrari of Washington back in 1999. It was one of the last 355 F-1 GTS's imported to the US based on serial numbers. Its build date was March 1999. It was ordered with the daytona black leather seats with yellow stitching on the seats and dash. The roof is also color matched as well. All services have been done by Ferrari of Washington since day one. No accidents ever.
In 2010 at 9,000 miles the major service was done at Ferrari of Washington and so the engine came out. All seals and valve cover gaskets were replaced including the timing belt and tensioners. While that work was done FOW discovered that the original exhaust headers were cracked (very common issue) and needed replacing. I was not about to replace them with another set of the crappy originals. Instead, I replaced the entire exhaust system with aftermarket handbuilt FABSPEED stainless headers and high flow Cat Converters to match the TUBI muffler that was installed in 2005. In addition, carbon fiber air cleaner covers were put in to update the engine compartment (I still have the originals). I upgraded the original Bridgestone tires in 2006 to much sticker BFG rubber in a slighty wider size. They are still in great condition and show little wear.
This 355F1 has been in a heated and air conditioned garage its whole life and has never seen rain. The car is on its second clutch and it has approximately 1000 miles on it. The original clutch saw a lot of stop and go driving in traffic and it eventually glazed over requiring an original replacement from Ferrari of Washington. A new battery was installed last year and it is always on a trickle charger. It just had a recent oil change and fixed some sticky dash issues (very common).
This Ferrari has been very reliable and has never given me any issues or has ever leaked a drop of fluid. It is getting very hard to find these cars with low mileage selling from the original owner. Email me if you have any further questions.
Good Luck with the Bidding!

Ferrari reveals one-off F12 TRS at Sicily cavalcade
Mon, 23 Jun 2014Every year Ferrari owners gather from all corners of the globe for the annual Ferrari Cavalcade. This year's edition just wrapped up in Sicily, where over 90 proud owners from 27 different countries brought their prides and joys. Some of the participating supercars were more rare and notable than others - included among them several LaFerraris - but the extravaganza included the reveal of one very unique Prancing Horse.
That would be the new F12 TRS. The one-off creation surfaced just last week, the work of the Ferrari Special Projects division for one very fortunate client. It's based on the F12 Berlinetta, but replaces its coupe bodywork with new roadster sheetmetal that incorporates a glass window to reveal the red cylinder heads from which its inspiration - the 250 Testa Rossa - drew its name and a cowled rear deck. The open cockpit is trimmed in leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber, but ditches the glovebox, air vents, carpeting, audio system and other creature comforts.
Contrary to earlier reports, the F12 TRS does not appear to have a hybrid powertrain, the conventional 6.3-liter V12 producing the same 730 horsepower as the coupe to propel this one-off roadster to 62 in 3.1 seconds and to 124 mph in 8.1 - so as you can see, it hardly needed any help in the first place. Check it out in photos above, and feel free to read more in the press release below.
1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona could be world's first great 'condo find' [w/video]
Thu, Dec 11 2014Barn finds are the absinthe of the collector car world right now. They're highly intoxicating and a bit of the 'flavor of the month.' An actual barn isn't necessary, just some form of out-of-the-way long-term storage that involves a car being out of circulation for a long period of time, remaining complete with the time-capsule-like detritus of their slumber-yellowed newspapers, vintage eight-tracks or real pay dirt like a telex printout from Howard Hughes or a receipt from the Playboy Club. RM Auctions has just announced perhaps the first 'condo find' in a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona coupe that had been stored in a Toronto condominium building for a quarter century. Like any good barn find, this Ferrari is still covered in a layer of thick dust (the removal of which would likely devalue the car considerably) and still has a cartridge entitled "Disco Rock" shoved in its original eight-track player. And while the one and only owner's taste in music may have been questionable, his taste in cars wasn't. The Daytona was the last front-engine V12 two-seater Ferrari produced during the so-called Enzo-era, when founder Enzo Ferrari was still in command of the company. With its 172 mph top speed, a Daytona was famously used by Dan Gurney and Brock Yates in setting a coast-to-coast record of 35 hours and 54 minutes to win the first Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash in 1971. An impulse trip to the Geneva Motor Show in the same year by a Toronto businessman saw him purchase the Daytona where he spent a month touring Europe before sending the car back to Canada on the Queen Elizabeth II. He drove it for eighteen years and put a whopping 90,000 kilometers – 56,000 miles – on the car prior to putting the car up on blocks in a condo garage before a trip to Asia that he anticipated would last just six months. The car remained in that spot until November 14, 2014. The car that originally sold for $18,000 in Geneva, Switzerland in 1971 is expected to bring in excess of $600,000 at RM Auction's Amelia Island sale in March. Carwash not included. Daytona decision reversed, Level 5 Motorsports reinstated as class winners [w/video]
Mon, 27 Jan 2014After its first ever race at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, we can already tell that there should be plenty of excitement in the newly formed United SportsCar Racing series. Of the four competing classes, three of the winners came down to close last-lap performances, but perhaps none were as close - or controversial - as the GT Daytona (GTD) winner. Spoiler alert.
Midway through the infield portion of the Daytona International Speedway, the Level 5 Motorsports No. 555 Ferrari 458 Italia was trying to hold onto its first-place position over the Flying Lizard Motorsports No. 45 Audi R8. The R8 took an aggressive line trying to pass the Ferrari, and it ended up running out of track and driving off the course momentarily. International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) officials originally thought there was avoidable contact on the Ferrari's part and penalized the team accordingly, which meant Flying Lizard was the class winner. After watching the video replay, though, it was clear that there was no contact between the two cars. Officials overturned the ruling, rightfully giving the Level 5 Motorsports team the Rolex win.
A brief statement from IMSA is posted below regarding the matter, and we've also included a full video recap of the race from FOX Sports where you can see this GTD incident starting at the 2:30 mark.
