1998 Ferrari F355 GTS - Black on Black, 100% stock with the addition of a new left exhaust manifold, and Hyper- Flow cats.
Absolutely one of the cleanest ones on the planet. Excellent service history. All books, tools, keys, and red car cover.
Two documented previous owners - I purchased the vehicle in 2007 with just under 9400 miles. Both previous owners were fastidious in the care and maintenance. All recalls were done, annual services were performed on schedule, heat shields replaced, etc. INCLUDING REPLACING ALL THE STICKY PARTS
I have every single receipt on the car since new. It has obviously been lovingly owned and cared for.
This car is absolutely immaculate.
If you are a bottom feeder or Pay Pal scammer and looking to buy on the cheap try one of the hundred or so convertibles.
If you're looking for an average 355, there are some out there but a GTS, in any condition, are few and far between.
If you are looking for a very EXCEPTIONAL GTS this is it.
If you're looking for the best one, here it is.
P.S. I have 40 years of owning Ferraris if you just want to talk Ferraris call me, but don't waste my time with false interest in this sale.
I will only accept wire transfer. Pick up of car no sooner than 24 Hr. after wire hits. or cash on delivery. NO PayPal
Thanks, Jay

CA man accused of stealing same Ferrari twice
Thu, 11 Sep 2014Cars get stolen all the time. It's an unfortunate reality, but a reality nonetheless. It's just unusual when the same guy steals the same car twice, but that's what apparently occurred recently in Fontana, CA.
That's where one Earnie Hooks was arrested late last month driving a black Ferrari 458 Spider. According to police, Hooks was intoxicated when he arrived at a roadside checkpoint, and when they ran the plates, they found the car was reported as stolen.
Hooks managed to evade police (not too hard to imagine given the car he was driving) and later abandoned the car, which was taken to the impound. Around 3 am the next morning, though, someone broke into the impound and stole the car... again. Hooks was found five days later in Studio City, still driving the stolen Ferrari. He was arrested and somehow still had the gall to plead not guilty to the charges of car theft and resisting arrest.
The exotic '80s: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus and the Porsche 959
Thu, Apr 9 2015There's no secret that we are big fans of the MotorWeek Retro Review series around here. In an automotive world that often focuses on the latest tech and what's coming in the future, it's refreshing to take a look into the past to get a new perspective. That said, the show is really outdoing itself this time by posting a full episode from the '80s to YouTube, complete with the original, jazzy opening. The video is an absolute standout, too, with drives of some of the best supercars that Europe could offer at the time. Among the now classic sportscars that MotorWeek got to drive are the Ferrari 328, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Lamborghini Jalpa and Autokraft AC Mark IV. There's even a preview that sings the praises of the tech in the Porsche 959. The episode is basically a showcase of most of the exotics from young enthusiasts' walls and school folders during the '80s and is not to be missed. $3M Ferrari FXX K already sold out [w/videos]
Mon, Dec 8 2014When Ferrari took the wraps off its new FXX K track machine in Abu Dhabi last week, it conspicuously left out some key details. Sure, the Prancing Horse marque told us how much power it produced, and what it had done to the aero package to make it hug the track even closer than the road-going LaFerrari on which it's based – but it didn't tell us just how fast it will go, or how much it will cost. The latest reports, however, seek to fill in those blanks. According to Ferrari marketing chief Nicola Boari in speaking to Top Gear, the FXX K will lap the company's Fiorano test track in 1 minute 14 seconds. That would make it five seconds faster than the LaFerrari, a solid second ahead of the 599XX Evoluzione and two seconds faster than the original FXX. However it seems to fall short of the eight- to nine-second gap those previous XX derivatives opened up over the road-going models on which they in turn were based. So it seems, for the time being at least, that the 1:11.9 lap time recorded by the 333 SP – an open-cockpit sports prototype from the late 1990s – will remain for now the fastest car this side of an F1 racer ever to lap the circuit. The outright record stands at under 56 seconds and belongs to Michael Schumacher in the ten-cylinder F2004 he drove to his seventh and final world championship. As for the FXX K's production, Top Gear reports that Ferrari will build fewer than 40 of them, and that they've all been spoken for – at a price of ˆ2.5 million (more than $3M) apiece. If you're not one of those forty fortunate souls to have put down their deposit, your best chance to see this rare beast in its natural habitat (at least until one of the XX track days hits a race track near you) are the live images above and the handful of videos below.
