1996 Ferrari 355 on 2040-cars
Palm Bay, Florida, United States
Feel free to email: glennagggiove@ukgamers.net . 1996 Ferrari Berlinetta. I am the second owner and have owned the car for nine years. This Ferrari is in
excellent condition. It has had two engine out timing belt services with the last one being less than a year ago.
The maintenance records are kept in a three ring binder. This Ferrari has the Six Speed Gated transmission (No F-1
Paddles). The car has no scratches and is kept covered in an air conditioned car warehouse. It comes with a
battery tender and an automatic battery cutoff switch. This vehicle has incredibly low miles for an almost 20 year
old Ferrari. The original owner had Tubi exhaust installed giving this engine and even richer sound and extra
horsepower. The tires were replaced last year and have 90% tread left (probably more). This is a perfect entry
level Ferrari or a great piece for the ultimate collector. There are no sticky surfaces on the dash, steering
wheel column or console as it was corrected three years ago. (For those wondering Ferraris are notorious for having
the plastic on the console become sticky over time, Ferrari reconditions this (and mine was was reconditioned). No
overseas transactions please. Serious buyers only.

Mysterious Ferrari may be rumored Dino
Tue, Aug 11 2015At first glance, this Ferrari 458 looks innocuous, but several signs suggest the black coupe might actually be a test mule for a future revival of the Dino name. Unfortunately, one of the biggest hints to the car's identity is sonic rather than visual. According to our spies, the engine doesn't sound like company's naturally aspirated V8 or the turbocharged mill in the new 488 GTB. That suggests the possibility of a V6 being mounted behind the driver here. The lack of exhaust pipes poking out the rear further hints that something is amiss with the powerplant. The large intakes on each side should be plenty to feed cool air to the Dino's rumored twin-turbo V6, as well. A version of the 510-horsepower mill from the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is possibly in this Prancing Horse, but FCA execs are very cagey about discussing any connection between that engine and Ferrari. According to FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne about the revived Dino, "It's a when not an if." Marchionne indicated the model could pack around 500 hp and be lighter than a 488. "The six-cylinder response has been positive," he said. The smaller displacement powerplant would also mean lower taxes in China. The Dino would reportedly be positioned to take on the entry-level rung of supercars like the Audi R8 and McLaren 570S. Unfortunately, an actual launch could be as far away as 2019. So expect to see many more spy shots until then. Related Video:
BMW hires Ferrari chief engineer Fedeli
Wed, 08 Oct 2014There's going to be a little bit more Prancing Horse in some future BMWs because the Bavarian brand is hiring Ferrari chief engineer Roberto Fedeli to join the company in November. Fedeli's new position is still somewhat of a mystery though, and he reportedly might be lending his talents to the high performance M division or possibly even Rolls-Royce. When asked by Automotive News Europe, BMW said that it "currently can't say what his role will be."
Regardless of his new job, Fedeli was a big get for BMW because of his strong résumé. He has been with Ferrari since 1988 and led the engineering for the famous Italian automaker's vehicles since 2007. Fedeli tendered his resignation in September at around the same time that chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced his decision to leave the company. However, Ferrari told ANE that there was no connection between the two events.
2013 Ferrari FF [w/video]
Thu, 08 Aug 2013The World's Fastest Four-Passenger is Frickin' Fabulous
"I miss my mommy."
Those frightened words floated from the mouth of a five-year-old boy strapped snugly into a booster seat in the backseat of the Ferrari FF I was piloting. Moments earlier, his father had allowed me to take him, and his two brothers, for their first ride in a supercar, and I had apparently failed miserably.
