1990 - Ferrari 348 on 2040-cars
Amarillo, Texas, United States
This is my 1990 Ferrari 348 TS that has been a great joy to own. I am the 4th owner of this wonderful black beauty and have put about 5,000 of the 35,000 miles on this car. The last owner told me he had the 30k service performed which would have been about 7 years ago. It has been garage kept, and covered its entire life. The body is in great shape, the paint looks very good, the interior is in good shape with a little bit of wear on the drivers seat. This car has had it's fluids changed at least once per year, and its last inspection the inspector said its emissions were better than a 3 year old Mercedes that had been in previously that day. The car runs and drives great on its Perelli P Zero tires. The engine and transmission work and sound great! The A/C & heater work well, and a new battery was installed a little while ago. The stereo has been updated to a Sony CD player with all new speakers, and it has a joy stick remote mounted between the front seats. This car also has a VIPER alarm system with remote door unlock, this is very nice, and very rare. As you can see from the pictures, the factory original tool kit is in great shape, and even has the tire inflation bottle that is VERY HARD to find. The targa top is in great shape, and has its storage pouch, and also included is the bikini top when you are away from the hard top. I have loved owning this vehicle but with a new little boy, there is no where for the baby seat .

Fiat Chrysler denies rumors that Ferrari SpA is moving to London
Sat, Dec 13 2014It seems that reports of Ferrari's relocation to London have been somewhat exaggerated. The past few days have seen more than a few stories on the legendary Italian brand's decision to move its tax base out of Italy, and now Fiat Chrysler is speaking out against the scuttlebutt. "These rumors have no grounds," FCA said in a statement obtained by Reuters. "There is no intention to move the tax residence of Ferrari SpA outside Italy, nor is there any project to delocalize its Italian operations, which will continue to be subject to Italian tax jurisdiction." Ferrari's move to London was based on two beliefs. First, that the company would benefit from being located nearer the investor community, should it be listed on a European exchange. FCA, though, said a European listing was only a "possibility," according to Reuters. Instead, the company will be listed on an American market. Aside from the move to benefit investors, it was believed Ferrari was looking to relocate to escape Italy's more oppressive corporate tax rate, which sits around at 31.4 percent, compared to the UK's 20 percent, Bloomberg reports. This denial by Fiat Chrysler, though, should be enough to close the book on Ferrari leaving Italy, no matter how much sense it might make. Related Video:
$64M Ferrari 250 GTO could be a fake
Mon, 04 Aug 2014Remember that Ferrari 250 GTO that we reported on last week, supposedly listed on mobile.de for $64 million? Well, don't go putting down your deposit just yet, because it might be a fake.
According to noted Ferrari expert Marcel Massini, the vehicle listed on the German used-car website is a replica. "I can tell you that with 100 percent certainty," Massini told CNBC. "I know where all of these cars are today. And this is not one of the original GTOs."
Of course "replica" is a relative term when it comes to 250 GTOs. Other authentic classic Ferraris are sometimes rebodied to look like a GTO, but while they're not real GTOs, they are real Ferraris. We reported on such an "Evocazione" example (pictured above) based on a '65 Ferrari 330 GT a few years ago, around the same time that Matt Farah came across one based on a 365 GTB/4 Daytona alongside a Ford GT as well.
Drive goes sideways, shreds tires in a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Ferrari has built a monster with its F12 Berlinetta, a V12-powered grand tourer that has the looks of a supermodel and the firepower of a small country. And while it's been on the scene for a minute, Drive's Chris Harris wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to hoon a 740-horsepower prancing horse around the scenic Anglesey Circuit in Wales.
In fact, not only was Ferrari nice enough to loan Harris the F12, but it threw in an extra four sets of tires, just for him to destroy while taking moving pictures. The resulting video is indeed one to watch, not just because of the ample amounts of slow-motion drifting, but because Harris, as always, does a great job of making the viewer feel like they're actually along for the ride. Take a look below for the latest video from Drive.
