1985 Ferrari 3078 GTS
VIN: ZFFLA13B000057375
Up for sale is my 1985 Ferrari GTS Targa, starts and runs perfectly, service records which date back to 2002, present mileage is 44223, garaged, 3 owner car since new, southern car for most of its life, no corrosion or rust or anything of the sort. Engine is strong with excellent oil pressure, starts after a few seconds of turning the ignition key, no smoke, no strange noises, runs cool, no mechanical issues, dry underneath, not leaking any oil. Clutch and transmission are super smooth, car shifts through all the gears cleanly, all synchros are excellent; reverse is perfect as well. No mechanical issues or problems!! All fluids look clean and recently changed. The weels are very clean with no curb rash and the tires are 100%. Brakes stop the car on a dime and rotors are clean. Car "tracks" straight as you drive it and does not pull. The car just passed NC safety inspection which is a safety only inspection, i.e., lights, turn signals, brake lights, headlights, glass, windshield wipers, etc. It passed perfectly with no issues.
We had to list the VIN like this because Ebay wouldn't take it. If you look at other 1985 Ferrari 308s on Ebay they had to do it the same way. The car history (Autocheck) is clean. It shows that it is a 3 owner car, no accidents reported, Autocheck Assured, and that the "Vehicle Checks Out".
Paint looks very good and is clean. There are some stone chips have been touched up on the lower front valence which is understandable (this is the way we purchased the car). Paint is very presentable and passable. It is not a 100 point show car but it looks darn good, if I may say so. There is one spot on the hood where someone pushed down on the hood to lower it and did not do it properly and there is a slight crease in the hood (see picture). I mention this because I want you to know as much as I know about the car.
Interior is original and the seats are in very good condition with respect to the year. The leather does show some minor cracking throughout; there are no holes or tears. Carpets are very clean with no stains and the door panels are excellent; dash is perfect with no cracks; targa top is in very good condition with no chips nor damage to any part.
Here is a video of the car at idle:
Here is a short video of the car being driven:

Race Recap: 2014 Australian Grand Prix quietly opens the new F1 era [spoilers]
Sun, 16 Mar 2014The first chapter of the new Formula One era has been written with the conclusion of the Australian Grand Prix, and it included a rookie rush, some resurgent and some unsurprising performances, the sound of screeching tires and a couple of firsts.
Outside predictions as to the pace of the Mercedes AMG Petronas team were proved as soon as the Friday practice sessions, with Lewis Hamilton recovering from an engine sensor fault in the first session to top the second, followed by teammate Nico Rosberg. That didn't change come the start of qualifying, not even the rain slowing down the Silver Arrows, Hamilton taking pole as the last man across the line in Q3.
The surprises were in the order behind him, with new Infiniti Red Bull Racing man Daniel Ricciardo grabbing second spot just three-tenths of a second down on Hamilton. Ricciardo not only looked like he belonged at the front of the grid the entire weekend, but he seems to have reversed the Mark Webber jinx: four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel had car issues and didn't get into Q3, having to settle for 13th on the grid.
Lil Wayne's daughter gifted Ferrari GTO, BMW X4 for 16th birthday [w/video]
Thu, Dec 4 2014It must be nice to have ludicrously rich parents. Rapper Lil' Wayne's daughter Reginae recently celebrated her 16th birthday with a huge party in Atlanta. Where many teens would be overjoyed just to get a family hand-me-down for a first car, the rapper's daughter got two brand-new vehicles – a BMW X4 and a Ferrari 599 GTO. The X4 would certainly be extravagant by itself, but it's not totally without precedent. Anyone who watched even a snippet of MTV's old show My Super Sweet 16, probably saw a few vehicles that were just as expensive. However, the concept of any newly licensed teen behind the wheel of a Ferrari is absolutely terrifying to us. This one is even crazier, with 661 horsepower and a chassis capable of lapping Ferrari's Fiorano test track quicker than an Enzo. Of course, with just 599 built, Reginae could probably just park the coupe and let it appreciate enough to finance her next big party. The BMW is reportedly going to be her daily driver, anyway. According to TMZ, Reginae's mother and stepfather bought her the Ferrari with Lil' Wayne's blessing. They believe their daughter can handle the 599 GTO, which shows some serious – if misguided – trust. Check out the video below to see the cars and her party. Best speculative Ferrari Enzo successor rendering yet
Sat, 16 Feb 2013While so many supposed Ferrari fanatics are just sitting on their collective hands and waiting for the Italian supercar maker to finally reveal its F150 (or whatever it'll be called) Enzo follow-up, designer Josiah LaColla has gotten busy with his Wacom tablet and set to work. The results, though quite possibly no closer to the actual F150 as any of the other renderings we've seen thus far, are lovely to behold.
Well, actually, "lovely" probably isn't the perfect descriptor - anything less than a little bit brutal wouldn't be a proper successor to the Enzo, nor would it fit the parameters laid out by the test mules we've seen so far. Accurate within the best of LaColla's ability to guess and imagine is probably a better way of looking at these designs, which show a car that has enough venting to keep the bowls of Hell cool (should Hell ever hit the autostrada at 150+ miles per hour).
We've recapitulated the designer's own words in press release form, below, so as to give you a good idea of his intentions with the design. Read, view and tell us what you think the renderings, in comments.
