Ferrari delivers one-off F12 SP America in New York

Ferrari's Special Projects division has apparently been keeping busy. We're sure that we don't even see half of the special one-offs Maranello's customer skunkworks unit produces, but we've been seeing quite a few lately.
The last one that popped up on our radar screens was the F12 TRS revealed at the recent Ferrari Cavalcade in Sicily, and now it seems that the Prancing Horse marque has delivered another. It's similarly based on the F12 Berlinetta, but instead of taking its inspiration from the 250 Testa Rossa with a unique roadster body-style, the F12 SP America pictured here seems to pay stylistic tribute to the 250 GTO - evident in the trio of nostrils in the nose, the unique side vents, the slates behind the windows and the restyled rear haunches that meld into an integrated rear spoiler.
This unique take of the F12 was delivered to its assuredly wealthy commissioner by Wide World Ferrari Maserati in Spring Valley, NY, which tells you as much as the chosen model name that this particular one-off is staying right here in the United States.

Fast and Furious 7 has resumed filming, and here's proof

It seems that Fast and Furious 7 is finally back in production. The UAE-based Speeed spotted crews from the movie filming in Abu Dhabi with help from the local police. According to Speeed, the production worked with the constabulary to shut down several roads in the metropolis and simulate a police chase with a Ferrari 458. This is the first real evidence that Fast and Furious 7 is still being made. After production of the flick was suspended in the wake of Paul Walker's death, the future of the film was put in doubt. Then it was announced that the film was being rewritten, and Vin Diesel said that the release date had been pushed back to April 10, 2015. Walker is rumored to still appear in the movie because several of his scenes were completed prior to his passing. The next stop on the Petrolicious tour of the nation's car stories is Savannah, Georgia. The crew sat down with restorer Andy Greene of Andy Greene's Sports and Vintage Race Cars, and he waxed poetic about his love of Ferraris. See, the shop will work on vintage models and classic road racing cars from other brands, but when it comes to Ferrari, any model from any year can find a place in Greene's garage.
And we'll admit that the yellow Ferrari 250 SWB helps make Greene's case. You can see for yourself what he's talking about in the video below.
