I know this is a long ad but please read every word so you know EXACTLY what I am offering. And please keep in mind I am brave enough to list a very high dollar item at $1 No Reserve so please do not bid if you are not 100% sure you can make the purchase happen; meaning get your bankers, wifes, mother, etc permission before bidding. And if your bank/lending institute needs a copy of the title to approve your loan feel free to contact me I own the car free and clear and have title in hand. I have sold a bunch of expensive cars on ebay(a lot of them Vipers) and I have 100% feedback and even keep in touch with some of my past buyers because I truly do run a $1 No Reserve auction(meaning no hidden reserve and the high bidder will own it no matter how cheap she goes) and I treat every single person the way I want to be treated so please feel confident that the car is being represented as correctly as I know how.

This $1 No Reserve auction is for my 2008 Dodge Viper ACR with only 9k miles. It’s a pretty rare color combo; black with red drivers side stripe. It has solid black interior with the red drivers stripe on top of the steering wheel for a really sweet look. This color combo is one of the meanest looking combos Ive seen in person. It has the 8.4L V10 that produces 600hp and 560TQ stock. The Gen 4 ACR holds more track records than any other factory built car in history and one drive behind the wheel and you will know why. This is my second ACR and I am still amazed every time I get behind the wheel at how amazing these bad boys handle. And that’s stock cars, this one has been tastefully modded to do everything better(will list mods later in ad). Words can’t explain how much I love to just sit and stare at this amazing machine for hours. I will probably cry when it leaves =-(

I have owned 12 gen 3 and gen 4 vipers and I could go on and on about how incredible it is to drive a Viper and I can assure you that the Gen 4(2008-up) is worth the price over the Gen 3 in drivability. So if you are in the market for a Viper and can afford to go for the Gen 4 please do it, you will thank me. And even though all vipers get crazy attention the ACR takes the attention to a whole other level. If you are the type person that does not like a lot of attention and wanting to talk to someone about your car every time you stop then this really isn’t the car for you. I don’t care where you live you will have phones taking pics and videos of her every time you drive it. Sometimes its soo much attention you will find yourself wondering if its even worth trying to drive the car. Like I said I could go on and on about how much fun it is owning a Viper be it attention, or the incredible driving experience but until you own your own you never will understand.

One other thing that makes the Viper sooo much better than most exotics is the reliability of them. It’s literally a car you can drive 100,000+ miles and do nothing more than change the oil and fluids in it. Oh and don’t think that you have to sacrifice mpg to drive a huge V10 car like this, my daily driving returns 19-20 mpg and on a straight highway drive you will log 22-24 mpg thanks to the amazing redesigned T-6060 6 speed tranny. And with the newly redesigned rearend you won’t believe the traction and quiet operation. Just keep in mind that the Viper doesn’t have any traction control or stability control so you must use A LOT of common sense when behind the wheel. But when you learn to handle the power and put it down correctly you can blast from 0-130 in about 10 seconds and I can assure you that NEVER gets old =-) In all seriousness I baby my Vipers simply because Im more worried about getting the best fuel mileage I can and not wearing my tires down. So I promise you this car has never done a burn out while Ive owned her and that’s exactly why the rear tires have the very same wear as the front tires(right now they have roughly 50% tread left but keep in mind these are factory race tires so they come with very little tread when new).

It’s safe to say I am a car guy and I have a serious passion for cars. I have owned well over 200 cars in my life so far but I can confidently say this is by far the best looking and my favorite car ever. Now the big question on your mind is then why am I selling it? Well Ive bought another 08 ACR and I literally do not have garage space left for another car so this one has to go. I have a sickness I guess, I like to buy a stock car and mod it the way I vision it then sell it and start on another one. And I must say I am super pleased with the mods Ive chosen for this one and the new owner will be too. Plus the new owner will save a bunch of money on parts and labor since all the mods are already done. And trust me Viper mods are not cheap!!!

I know this ad is getting long so Ill list all the factory options and mods below that:

Factory Specs/options:

-8.4L V10 (600HP 560TQ stock)

-Power adjustable pedals

-Tilt steering wheel

-Ice cold AC (another great thing about the Gen3 and Gen4 Vipers)

-One touch power windows with smart seal technology

-Power open button on the rear hatch (on the 03-06 cars you could only get into the truck with the keyfob)

-HID headlamps

-Fog lamps

-Smart seat passenger airbag

-etc

Added Modifications:

-Full 3” catless Straight Pipe exhaust(crazy loud but very little drone another great thing about the Gen 4 Vipers, the gen 3’s have crazy drone with this setup)

-Mopar Venom controller (adds 10rwhp, factory controller included too)

-K&N drop in filter

-RSI Smooth Tubes

-2013-up Gen V composite intake(a solid 25 rwhp and much lighter than factory gen 4 aluminum intake)

-Red aluminum catch can

-RSI aluminum underdrive pulley(adds 10rwhp)

-Moton Clubsport coilover suspension (this car has been lowered 1.5” and still rides/handles better than it did on stock suspension this is the most expensive mod but by far the best!!!)

-Bear Eradispeed 2 piece rotors on all 4 corners(factory rotors were 2 piece slotted but I prefer the look of cross drilled)

-Tinted reverse lights(just a film so can be removed)

-Full DynoMat interior install (makes the car so quiet inside and cuts out all interior heat)

-Heated seats (This is one option that no car should be without)

-White LED interior and exterior lighting conversion(basically every light has been converted)

-White LED instrument panel conversion (looks incredible at night!!!)

-Lloyd red/black Viper mats (MUCH better than stock mats!!)

-15% tint on all windows

-Michelin Pilot Sport Cup race tires 305-30/18 front, 345-30/19 rears 50% tread left (super sticky and street legal)

-OEM 6 spoke wheel powder coated satin black(this is the lightest weight oem wheel for the viper)

-Headliner, A pillars, and B pillars are all wrapped in padded alcantera(suede)(looks and feel incredible and smell amazing too)

-MGW Shorty Gripper Shifter (3D Fangs) (Great improvement over stock but stock shifter included)

As far as condition goes the car is a close to perfect as you could want in a 9k mile car but there is no such thing as flawless with any car driven on the street. Besides normal rock chips on front bumper, behind wheels, and light rock pits in the windshield the only thing I can even find to mention is a small 3” scratch down on the front carbon fiber splitter(see pic) and that’s just a light scratch in the uv coating that could be buffed out. This ACR is in amazing condition and could be driven straight to a car show the day you receive it. Oh and the interior is in as close to new as you could ask far and even smells new inside(clearly never been smoked in).

The car was involved in an accident several months ago and had drivers side damage. Insurance deemed it a total loss and paid the owner for the car then sent the car to the insurance auction. It was purchased by a professional rebuilding facility in Indiana who I bought it from. And it now has a clean TN title. I am marking rebuilt title in the ebay listing but I repeat it does not have a rebuilt title it is completely clean and clear with no rebuilt or salvage marking on it so it is much easier to secure a loan from most banks for the full loan value. And I own the car free and clear with not current loan on it so the transaction will be super smooth and easy. The only parts replaced were drivers front fender, drivers quarter panel, exhaust cover, and rear bumper. The damage was so light that even the drivers door was undamaged in the accident. And the only parts that had to be painted were the parts replaced, all other panels are still original paint. After installing the Moton suspension I had the car realigned by my local alignment shop who also did frame work for 20 years and he said she was straight as an arrow. And there was never any inner structure damage meaning the rear tub or the front engine bay inner structure has never been damaged so that tell you how light the damage was. It was more of a bridge rail swipe than an actual impact.

Again I am super honest and truly like to treat people the way Id like to be treated and if I have grossly misrepresented this car in any way at time of pick up then I will gladly refund deposit and release the buyer from purchase but I want to say I am not a certified mechanic or body shop person so all I can do is relay to you what I know about this car. The car is amazing and darn near flawless in every way. It drives perfect and performs even more incredibly but it’s still a used car and should be purchased as one. If you are super picky and don’t feel comfortable purchasing this car with the information and pics I have provided then please do not bid. This is a high dollar item and I am brave enough to sell it @ $1 No Reserve but I really want to see my auction treated with respect. You are bidding to buy and not bidding to win then come tire kick. Any bidder is more than welcome to come inspect the car in person or have it inspected by a dealer but there will be absolutely no test drives until Im paid in full. Also I can help with shipping arrangements at buyers full expense but car will not leave my driveway till I’ve been paid in full.

I have a pretty good connection on getting cars shipped since I buy so many and always just have them picked up so I can gladly help in getting the car shipped at a good price at buyer expense. Thanks so much and if you wish to speak more in depth about the car feel free to call Wayne @ 731-610-627four. Best of Luck to all!!!

“PLEASE NOTE” In the pics the car is shown with the following items:

-DSVettes alcantara DSVettes custom alcantera wrapped steering wheel(extra thick padding used and Lamborghini cloth stitching used)

-DSVettes alcantara with red stiching shift boot and emergency brake boot.

I was planning on putting stock steering wheel and boots back in before listing but wanted to give the new owner a chance to buy these items since they look so great in this ACR. To buy a steering wheel and have DSVettes redo it and make the new boots cost me $1100. So I will let the new owner have these for $500 more than high bid and if they don’t want the items I will gladly swap them out before the car is picked up. The stock steering wheel is black leather with black stitching and the red stripe on the top and the factory boots are black leather with black stitching and are all in excellent condition too.

On Jul-12-14 at 18:35:40 PDT, seller added the following information:

Forgot to list a couple other mods

-MGW satin cup holder ring
-Nadar solid aluminum quick release moton canister mounts(crazy expensive but worth it for a super clean look)

Chrysler recalling over 200k vehicles across its brands

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

With more than 200,000 units across six separate recalls and almost all of its brands, it appears that Chrysler has officially jumped headfirst into the recall pool this month. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued three official recalls for the automaker, and The Detroit News is reporting that the automaker itself has announced three more.
The biggest of the recalls applies to about 120,000 Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger and Chrysler 300 models for 2011 and 2012 due to faulty wiring harnesses for the seat-mounted side airbags, which could lead to these airbags not deploying in the event of a crash. A little more than 60,000 two-wheel-drive versions of the 2007-2008 Dodge Nitro and 2008 Jeep Liberty SUVs are being recalled due to a heat shield that could cause the driveshaft to break, which if that isn't bad on its own, could then hit underneath where the airbag sensor is mounted, causing the airbags to deploy. Wrapping up NHTSA's recall notices, about 20,000 Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass models for 2012 are also being recalled due to a problem with the fuel tank transfer tube that could lead to the vehicle stalling. The LX car recall campaign is going into effect this month, while the other two will start next month - all three notices are posted below.
In addition to the official NHTSA recalls, The Detroit News is also reporting that Chrysler is recalling more than 16,000 Ram trucks and a small number of Dodge Dart sedans. Around 6,500 2013 Ram 1500 trucks will be recalled due to an improper adjustment of the parking brake cable from the factory, while 7,000 Cummins-powered 2013 Ram Heavy Duty trucks are being recalled due to an engine cover that does not have as much heat resistance as it is supposed to. Finally, a total of 46 Dodge Dart sedans are being recalled due to a problem with the brake calipers and/or parking brake.

Jay Leno's Dodge Challenger raises $585k for USO in Scottsdale

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Of all the metal moved in Scottsdale, AZ, this holiday weekend, the one you see here was hardly the most expensive. But it's noteworthy for another reason: despite being a relatively humble, second-hand 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, raised an impressive $565,625. That's because, first of all, it belonged to Jay Leno, and secondly because the proceeds were going to the USO. Leno donated the modern muscle car from his collection to benefit our men and women in uniform, and was on hand to present the car on stage at the Gooding & Company auction, along with USO president J.D. Crouch II and former Army chief of staff General George W. Casey, Jr. After frenzied and patriotic bidding, the gavel ultimately dropped at $360,000, accompanied by over $200,000 in additional contributions, bringing the total amount donated to the USO to over half a million. Commendable though it was, of course the Challenger didn't garner the highest bids at the auction. A 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider sold for $7.7 million and a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS fetched $2.4 million. A rare 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Series I Coupe Aerodinamico sold for over $4,070,000 – which, according to Sports Car Market, is the most ever paid at auction for a 400 Superamerica. And a 1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 also sold for a record $1.98 million. Stellantis announces ‘Circular Economy’ business to drive revenue, decarbonization

Tue, Oct 11 2022

Stellantis has already announced its plans to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2038. Today, the automaker has announced a new business unit to help it reach that goal while generating 2 billion euros per year in revenue by 2030. The “Circular Economy” business will help make revenue less dependent on finite, rare and ecologically problematic materials. The Circular Economy model features what Stellantis calls a “4R” strategy, comprising remanufacturing, repair, reuse and recycling. The goal is to make materials last as long as they can, reducing reliance on the acquisition of those precious new materials in the future by returning them to the business loop when theyÂ’ve reached the end of their first life. Through these processes, Stellantis says it can save up to 80% raw material and 50% energy compared to manufacturing a new part. Remanufacturing, or “reman” in Stellantis shorthand, means dismantling, cleaning and rebuilding parts to OEM spec. Nearly 12,000 remanufactured parts are available for customers to purchase. Some remanufacturing is done in-house, and some with partners and through joint ventures. Repair is pretty obvious — fixing parts to put back into vehicles. This also consists of reconditioning, to make a vehicle feel like new. Stellantis boasts 21 “e-repair” centers for repairing electric vehicle batteries.  Reuse refers to parts still in good condition from end-of-life vehicles sold as-is. Stellantis says it has 4.5 million multi-brand parts in inventory. These are sold in 155 countries through the B-Parts e-commerce platform. Reuse also refers second-life options, such as using batteries outside of automotive purposes. Recycling involves dismantling parts and scraps back into raw material form that is then looped back into the manufacturing process. Stellantis says it has collected 1 million parts for recycling in the past six months. Recycling doesnÂ’t get counted in that aforementioned 2 billion euros of revenue, but it does save the company money on acquisition of raw materials. As for batteries, specifically, Stellantis expects this recycling business to ramp up after 2030, when the packs currently in service begin to reach the end of their lifecycle. Stellantis will use its new “SUSTAINera” label to denote parts that are offered as part of its Circular Economy business.
