2004 Dodge Viper Srt-10 Convertible on 2040-cars
Hagerstown, Maryland, United States
Transmission:Manual
Vehicle Title:Clear
Exterior Color: Red
Model: Viper
Interior Color: Black
Trim: Convertible
Sub Model: SRT-10
Number of Cylinders: 10
Drive Type: Manual
Mileage: 29,200
I have for sale a 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10 with 29,200 miles (I still drive the car occasionally, miles will go up). Clean title not salvage.
This particular car was in an accident previously, which was primarily cosmetic. The driver side fender, door, hood, headlight, inner fender, and convertible top was damaged. Everything but the hood and inner fender was replaced. Convertible top wasn't replaced but damaged part was replaced.
This car still needs the exhaust side cover (Has a bend in it, see pictures) to be repaired or replaced and hood replaced or repaired. The inner fender is cracked so that will need replaced as well, although it does not affect the cars driving performance or stability of the fender. The convertible top arm was replaced but is still missing ONE bolt to be complete. Currently, The driver side top sags about half an inch because of the missing bolt. The plastic part on top of the windshield where the convertible top meets when the top down is cracked. Water does not leak through though.
This new parts that were installed were painted, but the paint job is decent. The "professional" shop that I took it to did a horrible job.
Some good things about the car: Mechanically the car performances extremely well, engine does not knock smoke or anything. Transmission shifts smoothly. No mechanical issues whatsoever.
New Michelin Super Sports were installed about 2,000 miles ago and that was about 2 months ago, along with an alignment which showed no suspension issues. Mopar exhaust was installed and it sounds nice. New windshield installed 2 weeks ago. This car was also state inspected and emissions tested last week and it passed without any issues.
I'm selling because my hands are pretty tired from fixing everything and it still needs a couple things to be complete. I'm buying another viper so this one has to go.
Face to face transaction, pickup in person only.
Will not deal with shipping companys as I prefer the buyer to see the car first before it leaves me.

1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper
Fri, 08 Feb 2013It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.
Ranking Dodge's Charger Hellcat with the fastest sedans in the world

"This is a car that most brands would never bring to market." - Tim Kuniskis
Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis had reason to be confident, perhaps even a bit cocky at the reveal of his brand's newest halo car, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. As he said simply, it's the "quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world."
