1996 Dodge Viper Gts Coupe on 2040-cars
Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States

The Car is beautiful and runs fantastic I just never use it. Family grew, now it just sits. Car has 42,xxx miles, I would give the Exterior a 8 out of 10 because of some rock chips and scraps on the front fascia, the rest of the paint is near perfect. The interior gets a 9. No wear on bolsters or anywhere else. Fonts tires have low miles, rears will need to be replaced in the next few thousand miles.
Some mods: -Short throw shifter -Edelbrock headers -Corsa exhaust -Drilled and Slotted rotors on all corners -SRT 10 six Spokes wheels -SCT hand held tuner. I'm sure there is other stuff I am missing. It is a solid, no stories car that gets so much attention its almost too much. This is the best of all Gen 2 vipers in my opinion...right color...right look. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction without notice at my own discretion. |

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV
Fri, 29 Aug 2014This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.
2015 Dodge Charger shows off its new look in New York [w/videos]
Thu, 17 Apr 2014With a new look inspired largely by the Dart compact, the 2015 Dodge Charger made its New York Auto Show debut today. Along with the interior and exterior changes, an eight-speed automatic becomes standard across the range.
What hasn't changed is the choice of engines under the Charger's long hood. A 3.7-liter V6 serves as the base mill, and can be had in both rear- and all-wheel-drive varieties, while the 5.7-liter V8 is an optional item and can be had in rear-drive only. Outputs are also carried over from last year, with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the six-pot, while the Hemi V8 delivers 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The new exterior treatment is a fairly large departure from the styling tone set by the Charger since its reintroduction to the US market in 2006. The blacked-out, crosshair grille and new headlamps are the biggest changes for 2015, though there are other, less immediately noticeable updates, such as the more rounded "Racetrack" taillamps that, like the front fascia, draw some inspiration from the Dart.
