THE CAR RUNS EXCELLENT AND LOOKS AMAZING.  HOWEVER, THE "BADS" FROM WHAT I CAN TELL ARE:

- THE HOOD NEEDS ADJUSTMENT AND DOES NOT ALIGN PROPERLY
- THE DRIVERS SIDE HEADLIGHT HAS A CRACK IN IT.
- SOME OF THE INTERIOR PANELS SEEM TO BE A LITTLE LOOSE.
- I OPENED THE HOOD EARLIER TODAY (11/14), BUT WHEN I TRIED TO RE-OPEN IT, THE DRIVER'S SIDE LATCH IS NOT UNLOCKING.  I FOUND THAT THE CABLE THAT CONNECTS THE DRIVER'S SIDE LATCH AND THE PULL-HANDLE SNAPPED.  FROM THE LOOKS OF IT, YOU CAN STILL UNLOCK IT BY PULLING THE CABLE WITH SOME PLIERS.

ASIDE FROM THOSE ISSUES, THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL VIPER AND RUNS AMAZINGLY!!! IT IS PRICED TO SELL IN THIS NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!

AWESOME VIPER PRICED TO SELL FAST!!! IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CAR OR WOULD LIKE TO COME AND INSPECT IT BEFORE BIDDING, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.

Buyer says Dodge dealer gave him wrong Charger, failed to notice for 2 months

Wed, Dec 31 2014

Mistakes happen, and they happen all the time. But when that mistake means a customer doesn't get what he or she paid for, something's gotta give. That's what one Dodge Charger buyer claims he is trying to sort out with his local dealership. Two months after taking delivery, the owner (going by the user name Dakrbouncer4689 on Reddit) says he got a call from his local Dodge dealership reporting a little problem. He had ordered and paid for the Charger SXT (pictured above on the dealer lot), but was given a Charger SE instead. The SE being the lower trim level, this presented one set of problems – namely a $2,000 discrepancy in equipment, like a five-speed automatic versus an eight-speed, a 4.3-inch infotainment display instead of 8.4, heated seats, leather steering wheel, premium audio, remote starter and so on. The second set of issues is that the VIN number on the paperwork (including the registration and insurance papers) of course doesn't match that of the car itself. The dealer, having obviously made a rather large mistake, apparently called the owner in to sort out the mess, but according to the customer's account, things didn't go as smoothly. Instead of immediately working to address the problem, the salesman kept the owner waiting, acted like it was no big deal, and offered only to swap the cars with no compensation for the trouble. Fortunately, the manager proved more sympathetic and apologetic, and offered the customer three options: he could swap the cars (re-doing the tinted windows on the SXT that the customer had done on the SE and throwing in leather seats for free), he could keep the SE (with the dealership handling the paperwork, throwing in the leather seats, adjusting the price and refunding an extra $400), or they could cancel everything, return the car and part company. As we go to press, the Charger owner had yet to make (or at least share) his decision. But while the principle of caveat emptor makes us wonder how he managed to take home a different car from the one he paid for, clearly the salesman and the dealership made a pretty large mistake by presenting him with the wrong set of keys and letting him off the lot without double checking it all. Dodge Scat Pack for 5.7L Hemi V8 detailed, priced

Sat, 05 Apr 2014

Dodge revived the Scat Pack name back in November at the 2013 SEMA show. At the time, though, we were short of details on forthcoming upgrade packages, which were destined to add some oomph to the Challenger, Charger and Dart. We're still waiting to hear about the upgrades to the Dart's 2.4-liter four-pot, but Dodge has gone ahead and released the details on the upgrades to the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 in the Challenger and Charger R/T.
As we detailed in our original post, three different Scat Packs will be available that will allow customers to upgrade their cars without voiding the warranties. Starting with the $2,195 Stage 1 kit, owners will net an extra 18 horsepower and 18 pound-feet of torque thanks to a Mopar-branded cold-air intake, exhaust and ECU ref lash. Stage 1 is also the only package that could be installed outside of a Chrysler-authorized service center without voiding the warranty (a mechanically competent owner could even do it at home, we're told by Dodge). Stage 2 builds on the entry level Scat Pack, and adds performance camshaft kit, which boosts output over the stock 5.7 by up to 30 hp for $1,895. As with the Stage 1, the ECU is tweaked.
For those that want to go whole hog, they can add the Stage 3 for $4,995. The top-tier gets quite serious, adding CNC-ported cylinder heads, as well as high-flow headers and cats. Output over stock is 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque. Each kit comes with a pair of badges, just in case owners want a bit of visual flair.
