3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!!!    Up for bids is a 2004 Dodge Stratus 4-S. The car has 120,272 miles on it. The person that owned this car started to repair it and decided to buy a new car instead. It has a timing belt issue and Im not sure if it has a new belt on it or still the old one. There is a few minor parts still off it as the owner did not complete the job. All the parts are there as are the bolts etc. I feel this would be an easy fix for anyone or a cheap repair if you took it to a mechanic shop. It has the 2.4 engine in it. The price I have on this car is low enough that no matter what you have to do to it you will have a decent car for little cash. Im not trying to get a bunch of money out of  this , just want to pass it on to someone that likes these cars and wants to repair it. This car has a NADA book value way over $4000 when completed. The Stratus has 4 new tires on it so you know it must have been a decent car till the belt thing happened for them to spend that much on tires for it. I think they are Goodyear tires which aren't cheap. The body on the car is pretty nice with a few very minor dings etc, paint still shines nice. The interior needs cleaning and is in decent condition. The seats are good with a bad place on the back of the passenger seat which looks like maybe someone caught it with something and tore it. The carpet needs cleaning but the dash and console are all good. I think one of the door panels has a couple places on it, not sure what caused that but its still decent. This would make someone a nice car guys with just a little work. Price a car such as this on a lot somewhere, probably over 5 grand so you know this is a great deal. Checkout my feedback as its well over 500 and all positive. You don't get feedback like that if you lie and cheat people so rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. Let me know if you have any questions and if you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid.Sorry but theres just to many nonpaying bidders on here these days. Also, delivery is possible depending on your location. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the Stratus is advertised for sale locally also. Don't miss out on this great deal and remember that when the reserve is met the buy it now goes away so don't miss out. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid on this 2004 Dodge Stratus. Also, checkout my other auctions!!!!!

Dodge to resurrect Scat Pack?

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

Before social media ever existed, if automotive enthusiasts wanted to be noticed or recognize other fans, they joined a car club. For Dodge muscle car lovers from 1968 through 1971, that group was known as the Scat Pack. Just like the Charger, Challenger and Dart nameplates, it looks like the Scat Pack could be getting a resurrection by Chrysler.
Automotive News is reporting that Chrysler recently renewed its trademark on the Scat Pack name, and while this is in no way a guarantee that the name will return, AN talked to Tim Kuniskis, Dodge President and CEO, who stoked the fire a little more. In the article, Kuniskis said that the name is "a very important part of our history" and added that "we like the whole idea of having a Scat Pack of cars." Scat Pack models were identified by their bumblebee stripes and helmet-wearing bumblebee logo, and the idea of a modern Scat Pack doesn't seem all that outlandish in light of recent vehicles like the Charger SRT Super Bee and the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Concept.
What do you think, is this a cool idea, or is it just an unwelcome bit of nostalgia? Have you say in Comments.

Dodge Demon test mule spotted wearing unusual camouflage

Thu, Feb 23 2017

The Dodge Demon apparently refuses to stay under wraps. The endless rollout of teasers continues each Thursday, but thanks to both Vin Diesel and our trusty spy photographer we have a whole suite of photos that show a nearly complete car in the flesh. This car appears to have been hiding in plain sight, as some of these photos were captured in the Detroit area. The car or cars in these photos is far less polished than the one shown in all of Dodge's teasers. The Air Grabber hood is unpainted, though it does come with some awesome hood pins. The same goes for the bolt-on fenders, as other pictures show a cleaner integration of the Demon's widebody modification. Despite the large Nitto logo on the top of the windshield, the cars in these photos are both wearing a set of Pirelli PZero All-season Plus tires on non-Demon wheels. It's as if drag radials aren't the best choice for winter driving. This car is fitted with two-piece Brembo brakes, but there's no telling if they're different than the standard Hellcat's. The decals on the side of the car may give clues to some of the Demon's equipment, but based on the LB Performance - commonly known as Liberty Walk- logo, the decals are likely more of a ruse than anything else. Liberty walk is famous in the tuning community for big, bolt-on body kits. The looks perfectly suit these test cars, though Borla exhaust and a Hurst shifter would be a wonderful addition to the Demon. Outside of that, there isn't much new to glean from these photos. Most of our questions about the Demon (horsepower, gearing, price) can't be had from pictures. Look for more news each Thursday in the lead up to the car's debut in New York in April. Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways

Sat, Feb 7 2015

Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology. The results weren't exactly as we'd predicted, but we had fun all the same. Get one more dose of your cop car fix, above.
