Warren, Michigan, United States
Up for sale is a 1992 Dodge Stealth RT / Twin Turbo that shows like new with just 26,926 original miles on it and is non smoker car and this year makes it 22 years old and has averaged just 1,223 miles a year over its lifetime. Factory Tech Goodies at a Glance:
Currently while the car is stored, it is started and driven a few miles once a month to keep it fresh and driven during our occasional Woodward Dream Cruise. It will be a high collector model no doubt to enjoy showing off for years to come. Nonsmoker car. No Accidents ever. Original Paint and there is no rust anywhere on the car and the interior, underneath, and engine bay shows like new. This car has always been garaged indoors, never seen rain, snow, and has always been covered / garaged. This car comes with all the documentation and also the original dealership window sticker, dealer stock tag, and maintenance service book along with a few other goodies to support its history. This car is all original with NO modifications made. Visually the engine compartment is stunning in this Stealth as it is 100% original and in pristine factory condition. The engine as seen in my pictures is a 3.0 litre V6 Twin Turbo that produces a huge 300 horsepower / 306 lb/ft torque thru Twin Turbos using 9.0 lbs of boost which gets you 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Its power to wheel output comes by an AWD setup via a 3.0 Liter V6 Fuel Injected Dual Overhead Cam with 24 Valves with 2 turbos feeding the engine and the power is applied by using a 5 speed Getrag manual transmission coupled to a all wheel drive setup complete with 4 wheel steering where all 4 wheels turn in cornering under high speeds and also has an Active Exhaust system - Opens up at higher speeds. The interior was modeled to the likes of the Dodge Viper giving you the cockpit feel while sitting behind the steering wheel. The interior shows like new and has a cluster of gauges to show the operation of certain functions. This Dodge Stealth along with its sister car the Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 were only produced for just 7 short years and is a sure bet to be a well sought after collector car with a return on investment coming to you in a few short years. Speed and Feel comes on like that of a Chevrolet Corvette or Toyota Supra but costs a lot less when you have to insure it. Insurance coverage thru Haggerty Insurance for this car is only $800.00 a year for full coverage! That's only about $66.00 a month for a true sports car! This low mileage Dodge Stealth RT / TT presents itself as a new car and when you first see it, you will be in awe of its glory and presence....I was. Custom Cover King Car cover included with Sale. Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.
Dodge Demon test mule spotted wearing unusual camouflage
Thu, Feb 23 2017The Dodge Demon apparently refuses to stay under wraps. The endless rollout of teasers continues each Thursday, but thanks to both Vin Diesel and our trusty spy photographer we have a whole suite of photos that show a nearly complete car in the flesh. This car appears to have been hiding in plain sight, as some of these photos were captured in the Detroit area. The car or cars in these photos is far less polished than the one shown in all of Dodge's teasers. The Air Grabber hood is unpainted, though it does come with some awesome hood pins. The same goes for the bolt-on fenders, as other pictures show a cleaner integration of the Demon's widebody modification. Despite the large Nitto logo on the top of the windshield, the cars in these photos are both wearing a set of Pirelli PZero All-season Plus tires on non-Demon wheels. It's as if drag radials aren't the best choice for winter driving. This car is fitted with two-piece Brembo brakes, but there's no telling if they're different than the standard Hellcat's. The decals on the side of the car may give clues to some of the Demon's equipment, but based on the LB Performance - commonly known as Liberty Walk- logo, the decals are likely more of a ruse than anything else. Liberty walk is famous in the tuning community for big, bolt-on body kits. The looks perfectly suit these test cars, though Borla exhaust and a Hurst shifter would be a wonderful addition to the Demon. Outside of that, there isn't much new to glean from these photos. Most of our questions about the Demon (horsepower, gearing, price) can't be had from pictures. Look for more news each Thursday in the lead up to the car's debut in New York in April. 2015 Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car burns rubber into SEMA [w/video]
Tue, 04 Nov 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is showing off a completely redesigned Dodge Charger Funny Car at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas and it's ready to blow through the NHRA timing lights next year. Initially, the shape might look like any of the other entrants in its class burning through the quarter mile, but this is the first comprehensive rethink for the racecar's aerodynamics since 2006, says Dodge.
Draped in classy red and black Mopar livery, the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car tries to share the front and rear styling with its roadgoing counterpart, plus the scallops along the side, but this racer is all about crossing the finish line first.
The major goals for the redesign included making the body stronger and lighter without sacrificing aerodynamics, and that has been done with materials like Kevlar and carbon fiber. However, engineers have accomplished even more. By moving the cockpit further back, they've increased engine clearance and improved driver visibility.
