1995 Dodge Stealth

Low mileage example of an iconic sports car

  • R/T premium package
  • 99,858 miles
  • 5-speed manual
  • 24 valve dual-overhead cam engine
  • Quad chrome tip exhaust
  • Alloy wheels

Arguable the most definitive sports car of the 90's

The Dodge Stealth, along with its twin, the Mitsubishi GT3000, were two of the most definitive sports cars of their era. Know as one of the technological advance cars at the time, the Stealth is still a blast to drive. 18 years later, this car is still a bonafide head turner and attracts interest where ever it goes. But don't think this car is just for looks, the Stealth has the performance to back up the aggressive styling. With a 5-speed manual matted to the well renown 24 valve V6 DOHC engine, this car has more than enough power to push you back in your seat.

Overall, this car is everything a sports car should be: Attractive styling, blistering performance and most importantly, the ability to leave you with a smile on your face every time you drive it.

This is a rare are example of low mileage, soon-to-be classic. Overall condition is average for year and mileage. Exterior is very striking. Fire-red color suits this car perfectly. Paint does show some fading and wear, most notably on the rear wing. Interior is in fair to average condition. Seats are very comfortable. Great color contrast to exterior and made of stain-resistant material. Driver seat shows wear. Has sizable rip in seat. Various trim panels show wear marks. Cloth around the shifter handle is warn. See pictures. All wear is purely cosmetic. Very solid mechanically. Engine runs well, shifts are smooth. Delivers a surprisingly comfortable ride.

Overall, this is a low mileage example of a desirable and dependable sports car. This car has what it takes to suit your needs.

Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car is ready to burn rubber at SEMA [w/video]

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

The Dodge Charger R/T is all set to rocket down the drag strip in NHRA Funny Car competition with a completely redesigned body debuting at this year's SEMA Show. While only the front decal, side scallops and rear logo really signal this racer as a Charger, that doesn't take away from its promise of hitting absolutely ludicrous speeds.
The engineers' biggest tweak to the body was moving the cockpit further back. This created more clearance under the hood, and the change came with added advantage of giving the driver better visibility out of the car. Composites like Kevlar also helped make the one-piece shell even lighter, while not sacrificing strength.
The new design has already undergone extensive time in the wind tunnel and real-world runs to make sure that none of the changes negatively impacted the aerodynamics. With those tests out of the way, the Charger R/T Funny Car will have the first chance to truly prove itself in NHRA competition at the 2015 Winternationals from February 5-9 at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, CA.

Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.

2019 Tokyo Auto Salon features one of the coolest auctions we've seen

Thu, Jan 3 2019

In just over a week, the Tokyo Auto Salon will host one of the coolest auctions we've seen in years. Jalopnik spotted BH Auction's listings, and it's a cornucopia of hot machinery you won't typically find at American auctions like Gooding & Company or Barrett Jackson. While Japanese cars make up most of the listings, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and even Dodge all have at least one car going up for auction. We won't include everything here, but you can check out the full list on BH Auction's website. There are 50 lots at the auction, including nine Nissan Skylines, nine Ferraris and two Porsche Carrera GTs. Some of our other favorites include a Honda S800 coupe, a Toyota Miniace truck, a Mitsubishi Willys Jeep and a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing with the V8 from a W124 Mercedes-Benz E60 AMG that's estimated to sell for between $1.25 million and $1.5 million.
