2016 Dodge Viper ACR priced from $117,895

Fancy getting your hands on the all-new Dodge Viper ACR? Prepare to shell out at least $117,895, not counting destination or gas-guzzler tax. Those two add $1,995 and $2,100, respectively, for an out-the-door price of $121,990. That's $32,900 more than a base 2015 Viper, or the equivalent of a Challenger with a few options. As we explained previously, the ACR model doesn't do much for outright power – the 8.4-liter V10 offers up only five more ponies than before – but it does add suspension and aerodynamic upgrades that make this particular Viper far more potent on the track. The Dodge brand has announced pricing and opened order banks for the recently introduced 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. The new 2016 model honors that performance legacy with significant aerodynamic and suspension upgrades, new Carbon Ceramic brakes with six-piston calipers and high-performance tires specifically designed for ACR.

Dodge Demon's deliverer? FCA files for 'Angel' trademark

We've driven the Dodge Demon, and despite its satanic overtones and 840 freakin' horsepower under the hood, the car is actually quite well-behaved. At least it didn't bite our head off or drag us into any sort of inferno. Still, Dodge might be looking to balance its lineup with something with a bit more righteous, as FCA has filed for a trademark of the moniker "Angel."... According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, FCA filed the application on July 17, 2017, and it applies to "Motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, their structural parts, trim and badges." Essentially, that's all the information we have to go on at this point. It could mean that Dodge is planning to further capitalize on the Demon name by creating another variant, or a completely different car. But what's the opposite of the Demon? Could it be a more road-friendly version of the drag-focused Demon? (And wouldn't that just be a Hellcat Widebody with more power?) Maybe it's a performance hybrid, as FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently said that the automaker would electrify half its fleet by 2022. For now, we can merely speculate as to what the Angel would be. Mopar '14 teased, returns to Challenger

Every year, Mopar selects one special vehicle from the Chrysler portfolio and creates its own, one-off, special edition. Previously, there was the Mopar '13 Dart, '12 300, '11 Charger and the '10 Challenger, and for 2014, this teaser image shows that the company will be giving the unique treatment to Dodge's muscle coupe yet again.
Mopar has not revealed any details about its '14 Challenger, though the brand's president and CEO, Pietro Gorlier, says that "This limited-edition ride is for muscle-car fans who love high octane and customizable performance." All we know is, it's white, has some blue stripes, and a black (or carbon fiber) rear spoiler.
