If you are looking for a Sprinter Van, then you know that this is the best van on the market. In you are nerdy about it, then you also know that 2005 was the prettiest year of this vans design. It is a big van that drives like a small van. It has great suspension and is very stout and very stable at freeway speed. It is a great drive. Long miles are NO problem at all.

This is the shop van which gets driven very infrequently and is very well loved, and have always been garaged. It has only 24700 miles (the image below says less, but as I type this, it is out on a run but the mileage will not except 24800 by the end of the auction).
It is simply taking up too much space right now and needs to find a home where it will be used more. If you are looking at this listing you know that this van has hundreds of thousands of miles left in it. At less than 25,000 miles, from 2005, it is a miracle that it is in such amazing shape.

The previous owner turned the Dodge into a "Mercedes" (there is a package one can buy to do this...ah vanity!!!)  and has bluetooth, backup camera, a rear DVD player. The stereo works but the navigation has ceased to work but I think it is repairable, we just haven't needed it, so we do without. It is used locally, so it has been unnecessary. The stereo sounds great, but is the same vintage as the car and if you were really into it, you would likely change it. It was the top of the line in 2005 though. So, it still rules, it also has an older iPhone attachment. The Bluetooth is a hands free system and works with any phone that has blue tooth technology. The backup camera makes this van extremely easy to park. It is a fun drive too.

You can fit a full sheet of plywood in the back flat between the rear wheel wells, while keeping a row of seats in the back.

It has some blemishes all are in the attached images, so please refer to them. But I will list below:

There are some small scratches on the hood and sides of the van. All barely noticable.
One of the rear seats has a crack from the being removed (by myself which I would not advise) and was dropped. ALL SEATS AND SEATBELTS ARE IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER.
There is a ding in the rear drivers side corner of the van, and is also hard to notice.
The bumper at the rear of the guide for the sliding door was knocked off by a new employee who misjudged the space he was fitting it into. It is minor.
There are a couple small tears in the rubber flooring also from putting the seats in my myself, and from carrying some sharp metal a couple of times.
There is a small small tear in the side vinyl above the fabric, which is also very small.

It kills me to sell it, but I just don't need it right now.

Happy bidding.

Nearly 700,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs recalled

Thu, Nov 21 2019

WASHINGTON — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Thursday it will recall nearly 700,000 sport utility vehicles worldwide because a faulty electrical connection could prevent engine starts or contribute to a stall. The recall, covering 2011 through 2013 model year Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs, will address silicon deposits on the contact points of fuel pump relays that may interrupt electrical current, Fiat Chrysler said in a statement. It said it is unaware of any injuries or accidents related to the faulty vehicles. The Italian-American automaker had previously recalled most of the same SUVs in 2014 and 2015 for issues with their fuel pump relays. The company, which last month announced it planned to merge with Peugeot owner PSA, said it would notify owners at a later date when they will be able to schedule repairs at dealerships. The recall includes around 528,500 vehicles in the United States, 34,700 in Canada, 18,100 in Mexico and 116,500 outside North America, it said.

Speedkore roaring into SEMA with twin-turbo AWD Charger Hellcat Widebody

Thu, Oct 10 2019

Speedkore Performance is nowhere near finished with the Dodge Charger. At last year's SEMA show, the Wisconsin-based tuner showed a 1970 Charger Evolution with carbon and aluminum body panels, and a 996-horsepower Hellcat engine yoked to a six-speed transmission. This year the company teased a profile rendering of a 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody on Facebook with the line, "All we're going to say is this all-wheel drive, twin-turbo, widebody Charger is going to be unveiled at the Magnaflow booth." Mopar Insiders extracted a tad more information, the first being that we're in for another tuned version of the 6.2-liter Demon Hemi V8 that's swapped its supercharger for twin turbos, and produces more than 1,000 horsepower. Last year, alongside that 1970 Charger, Speedkore unveiled a twin-turbo Hellcat-powered Demon making almost 1,400 horsepower. We don't know yet if this year's Charger will match that output — or exceed it — but we have a benchmark. An all-wheel-drive powertrain divides those horses so the tires have a chance of conquering them. Speedkore's mum on the mechanicals; the firm could have swiped a Grand Cherokee Trackhawk AWD unit and beefed it up, or created its own system.  Some of the steel body panels get carbon fiber replacements, and see those two holes in he front wheel arch? Those are exhaust outlets. MagnaFlow created a custom exhaust with a driver-selectable switch to port gases out the front, say at the track when decibels don't matter, or to send waste through MagnaFlow mufflers and out the rear pipes when silence is required.  The reveal happens at the Magnaflow booth in SEMA's Central Hall on November 5. Those that can't make the show can watch the reveal on MagnaFlowÂ’s Facebook page.

Queens man knows how to party, disrupts Mets game with van

Fri, Jun 24 2016

A New Yorker and all-around true American hero took his weekend festivities a little too far and landed himself in front of a judge last week. According to NBC New York, Nelson Hidalgo drove his unassuming Sprinter to Citi Field on Saturday, June 18, around 10:45 p.m. While the Mets were getting thrashed by the Braves, Hidalgo pulled up to the intersection of 127th street and 35th avenue. Hiding within the van's cargo area were 80 speakers driven by powerful amps, around $20,000 worth of car audio. Hidalgo opened the Sprinter's rear doors, deployed his amazing speaker system, cracked a cold Coors Light, and unleashed hell. Noise complaints immediately started flooding in to the police, including one from the Mets' bullpen. Soon, Hidalgo amassed a sizable crowd who had come to rock out and marvel at the lunacy of the Sprinter's sound system. The NYPD showed up eventually and, undaunted by noise and the crowd, clapped the irons on poor Nelson. The Sprinter was impounded and Hildago was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance, general noise prohibition, disorderly conduct, and obstructing the driver's view. "I know it's illegal, but it's the weekend," he explained to the cops as they hauled him away. Once they had him in custody, the NYPD realized that Hidalgo was the person they had been looking for in connection with absurdly loud music coming from various city junkyards in the dead of night. Hidalgo, who has no prior record, spent the night in the slammer but was released the next morning with no bail on the promise that he return for his court date on August 1. Related Video:
