PRESENTING AN EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND
2007 DODGE SPRINTER 3500 EXTENDED SUPER HIGH CEILING 170" WB DUAL REAR WHEEL CARGO VAN
FLORIDA DRIVEN - VERY CLEAN - MERCEDES DIESEL - PERFECT WORK VEHICLE

This Dodge Sprinter 3500 SHC 170 has been well maintained and wil work perfect for any business. Please notice the pictures we have taken of underneath the vehicle to demonstrate how this Florida driven van has no rust and is maintained very well. Here in the South Florida Area all we have is flat land and roads with no potholes. This vehicle has never been exposed to the harsh winters, snow, roads, mountains, or overall rough driving conditions of "up north" driving. This was originally set up for a Refrige Truck and has a Duo-Therm Refridge unit on top that may or may not work. The second owner used it as a cargo van and disconected the power and wires to the unit so we do not know if t works or not. It looks very clean inside and well taken care of. Also, you will notice that the inside walls have been insulated with plywood on the sides and insulation between the wood and walls. If you take down the plywood the inside cargo walls have never been exposed and are in great condition, no scratches and no dings.

We have attached a FREE copy of the VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT and scores. This van scores a very high 82 out of an average 69-81 for overall vehcile history. Tpo see the actual vehicle history report and an explination of the score itself simply click on the number 82 below.

Vehicle Overview
The full-size Sprinter van was initially assembled by Freightliner. Early in 2003, it adopted a Dodge nameplate. For 2007, it's wider, taller and longer, and now has greater cargo and towing capacity.

Designed specifically for commercial applications, the Sprinter is built on one of two wheelbases. This Sprinter is a Super High Ceiling with what Dodge calls the mega roof, which provides 84 inches of walk-through height. This Sprinter is a 3500 Heavy Duty Dual Rear Wheel Extended 170 inch Wheel Base Van.

Exterior
A large grille incorporates the Dodge Ram logo. This Sprinter is 289 inches long overall. The back doors open to the vehicle's full height and swing open 270 degrees. New for 2007 are one-touch, triple-flash turn signals and new wide-angle mirrors.

Sprinters have an independent front suspension, rear leaf springs and power rack-and-pinion steering.

Interior
Sprinters have a flat cargo floor and tapered rear wheel housings. This Sprinter has overall cargo capacity that swells to 600 cubic feet. Air conditioning is standard. New features include a tilting and height-adjustable steering wheel, CD player and power windows and locks.

Under the Hood
This Sprinter is equipped with a 154-horsepower, 3.0-liter Mercedes V-6 diesel engine and teamed with an Automatic Transmission.

Safety
All-disc antilock brakes are standard. For 2007, an electronic stability system is standard. The system adjusts for how the Sprinter is loaded and adjusts its inputs to compensate.

Dodge, Jeep and Ram could soon be owned by Chinese automakers

      Mon, Aug 14 2017

For the past several years, Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has made it widely known that the automaker he helms is up for grabs. First, he sent an email to GM CEO Mary Barra, who immediately refused to even discuss a merger. Later, Marchionne set his sights on Volkswagen. That too was swiftly rebuffed. It seemed like no global automaker was remotely interested in a partnership. Now, Automotive News reports that several Chinese automakers have come calling, only FCA isn't ready to answer. At least not yet. The news broke this morning that a major Chinese automaker had made an offer to purchase FCA for slightly above market value. FCA refused, saying the offer wasn't quite generous enough. It's unclear which automaker made the offer, but Automotive News says there's more than one interested party. FCA representatives have recently traveled to China to meet with Great Wall Motors, while Chinese representatives were seen at FCA corporate headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich. The Chinese government has a lot of money invested in local automakers. It's putting pressure on these automakers to expand globally, including to the United States. As it stands, it's a matter of when a Chinese automaker will start selling cars here, not if. Purchasing an established automaker with a wide range of products and a huge dealer network would do wonders in giving the Chinese a foothold here. Sure, Geely owns Volvo, but a luxury automaker doesn't have nearly as much reach as a more mainstream company like FCA. This seems like the best case scenario for both a Chinese automaker looking to move into the U.S. and for FCA, at least from a business standpoint. The latter doesn't seem to have any other interested parties. It will be interesting to see how FCA would sell a deal like this to the public. We're not sure everyone will be happy with Dodge, Jeep and Ram falling under Chinese ownership. FCA didn't turn down the Chinese because they didn't like the idea. It turned down the offer because there wasn't enough money on the table. Related Video: News Source: Automotive News Earnings/Financials Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat Jeep RAM

FCA's shifter fiasco proves novel gear selectors are a bad idea

      Tue, Feb 9 2016

What's wrong with PRNDL? Why are automakers trying to overly complicate the simple task of selecting gears? If there's any lesson to learn from the recent news that NHTSA is investigating 853,000 Fiat Chrysler vehicles over its problematic gear selectors, it's that the trend of fancy shifters needs to stop. Now. Last year, NHTSA opened an investigation into Jeep Grand Cherokee models, and has now expanded this probe to include the 2012-14 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger. The problem? The shifter – assembled by ZF – is confusing for many drivers. "Testing ... indicates that operation of the (electronic) shifter is not intuitive and provides poor tactile and visual feedback to the driver, increasing the potential for unintended gear selection," a NHTSA document states. More than 100 crashes and over a dozen injuries are linked to this problem, according to The Detroit Free Press. To us, the problem isn't just limited to FCA. These unnecessarily novel gear selectors are spreading like wildfire across the industry. Honda and Acura use a weird pushbutton setup. Lincolns have buttons on the dashboard. Jaguar's shifter electronically raises out of the center console. Mercedes uses a stalk with up-for-Reverse, down-for-Drive, push-for-Neutral arrangement. And what the hell is BMW thinking with its M cars? FCA has since abandoned the confusing shifters in question. The 300, Charger, and Grand Cherokee now use the rotary shift dial that's quickly proliferating across the company's brands. Simplistic gear selectors might not be sexy, but no one ever complained about not being able to find the right gear in a Hyundai Sonata. What's most interesting is that this NHTSA investigation could push FCA – and possibly other automakers – to redesign vehicle functions that otherwise operate as designed. Just because most people will never have a problem putting a Dodge Charger in Reverse doesn't mean there isn't a flaw with the design. But perhaps a more simplistic solution – good ol' PRNDL – would have prevented these issues from the start. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

      Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
