1998 Dodge Conversion Van in excellent shape, runs and drives great! Nice cloth interior with very little wear and tear. Front tires have plenty of tread left, they only have about 15000 miles on them. Power everything...comes with a cd radio and a cassette player in the back. Also has a TV and VCR player. Great " Mood Lighting" for night time travel ...It really is very romantic! The van is great for trips and we drove it down from Connecticut to Texas pulling a trailer with no problems. The motor runs perfect and the transmission shifts smoothly. Has a new alternator. The rear seat folds down into a bed for overnights. You will be very happy with this van. Comes with a clear title. Buyer is responsible for shipping or flying out and driving it home. It will go across the country, no problem. The van has a clean record with no accidents. The vehicle is now registered in Texas. Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components
Fri, 14 Mar 2014Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
Chrysler Recalling 870,000 SUVs For Brake Defect
Wed, Apr 2 2014Chrysler is recalling nearly 870,000 SUVs because corrosion may make the vehicles' brakes harder to use. Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from the 2011 through 2014 model years are involved. Chrysler says crimp joints in the brake boosters can corrode if they're exposed to water. If the water freezes, the boosters won't aid braking as they usually do. Chrysler began investigating after some customers said their brakes felt too firm when pressed down. The company knows of one accident, but no injuries, due to the defect. Dealers will install a shield to protect the boosters for free and replace boosters that aren't working properly. Chrysler has since changed the design to make the boosters more corrosion resistant. Chrysler will notify owners of the recall, which involves 867,795 vehicles.
