White Flat Bed 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Mega Cab 4x4 Diesel Engine on 2040-cars
Angleton, Texas, United States
This 2011 Flat Bed RAM 3500 Laramie Longhorn Mega Cab 4x4 is in excellent condition. My wife and I are listing this for my father in law. The vehicle is located at his house in Angleton, Texas. The only choice Ebay gave me for listing the title was "clear", but the truck is financed through TDECU (Dow Credit Union) and has a title lien that will, of course, be paid off by us before transfer. My good hearted father in law financed the truck for one of his grandkids (our nephew) for what turned out to be a very short lived short haul career......about five months. He has had the truck since late last summer and the vehicle has been used very little since December.....just for trips into town. We do know that everyone wants to make the very best deal they can....just like we do. My father in law has priced the truck to sell, but he absolutely does not have to sell the truck. It is also pretty clear that not everyone that wants a truck like this can swing it.......we've had a couple of folks that have not been able to get financing. We are not interested in leasing the truck or owner financing the truck. The truck is available to be driven, looked over or taken to a mechanic in Angleton, Texas. We have never tried to sell a vehicle on Ebay before. We have set a reserve of $46,399. If it is not reached, we'll see if Ebay lets us contact any bidders short of the reserve. However, I know Ebay tries to make it very difficult to talk to buyers directly or efficiently.....and I get why that happens. The truck has a 100,000 mile or 5 year warranty that will transfer to the buyer. I am not sure, but I would guess we are in year 4 of the warranty. My father in law is the second owner. He bought it from a dealership in Orange, Texas with a little less than 21,000 miles on it. The list price was $60,210.00 when new. You can see some of the features in the last pictures which has the dealer sheet. If you are interested, we can get you as many specific details as you request. Thank you for looking. |

Will Dodge limit 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat to 1,200 units?
Sun, 20 Jul 2014With over 700 horsepower on tap and a price tag barely over $60k, Dodge appears on paper to have a winner on its hands with the new Challenger SRT Hellcat. But if you want to get your hands on one, you may have to act quicker than this most powerful of muscle cars covers the quarter-mile.
That's because, according to our compatriots over at Edmunds, Dodge may limit production - in the first year, at least - to just 1,200 units. That would amount to barely a quarter of the Challengers that Dodge moves each month, and would also mean only one Hellcat for every two Dodge dealers in the US - which could lead to some serious contention over which stores and which customers can get their hands on the ultimate Challenger.
Reached for comment, SRT spokesman Dan Reid told Autoblog that "there is no plan to limit production of the Challenger Hellcat," echoing the words of Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis who told Edmunds: "We don't know what the market demand is." Which doesn't mean that it won't restrict production, but doesn't mean that it will, either. It just hasn't decided yet - or announced any such decision, at any rate - over what will be the final allocation strategy for what could be a game-changing muscle car. That is, at least, until new versions of the Mustang and Camaro come along in pursuit of Dodge's bragging rights...
Stellantis wants to trim 3,500 hourly U.S. jobs, UAW says
Wed, Apr 26 2023WASHINGTON — Chrysler-parent Stellantis NV wants to cut approximately 3,500 hourly U.S. jobs and is offering voluntary exit packages, according to a United Auto Workers union letter made public Tuesday. The automaker is looking to reduce its hourly workforce offering incentive packages that include $50,000 payments for workers hired before 2007, UAW Local 1264 said in a letter dated Monday posted on its Facebook page. Stellantis spokeswoman Jodi Tinson declined to comment. A person briefed on the matter said the figure might be lower than the figure cited in the UAW letter. In late February, Stellantis indefinitely halted operations at an assembly plant in Illinois, citing rising costs of electric vehicle production. The action impacted about 1,350 workers at the Belvidere, Illinois, plant that built the Jeep Cherokee SUV and resulted in indefinite layoffs. The automaker has warned it may not resume operations as it considers other options. The UAW letter said openings created by workers leaving would be filled by workers on indefinite layoff. Stellantis said in February that about 40,000 U.S. hourly workers were eligible for profit sharing. Last week, UAW President Shawn Fain said Stellantis' decision to idle the Illinois plant was "a flat-out violation" of the union's contract with the UAW and is unacceptable. The UAW will enter talks with the Detroit Three before labor contracts expire in mid-September. Earlier this month, General Motors said about 5,000 salaried workers accepted buyouts to leave the automaker. GM CEO Mary Barra said February job cuts of a few hundred jobs and the 5,000 buyouts "provided approximately $1 billion towards" a $2 billion cost cutting target. Ford Motor Co recently announced significant job cuts in Spain, Germany and other parts of Europe and in August said it would cut a total of 3,000 salaried and contract jobs, mostly in North America and India. 2015 Dodge Challenger configurator has all the Hellcat you can dream of
Mon, 08 Sep 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has sucked up a lot of air in the automotive news world this summer, so it's good to know that you can actually go out and, you know, buy the sucker. With 2015 models headed for your local showroom, Dodge has seen fit to also pull the wraps off it's latest Challenger configurator, complete with the supercharged Hemi V8 option that we just can't seem to get enough of.
We're still enamored of the $58,995 starting price for the 707-horsepower SRT, but the online tool finally gives us a chance to see just how optioned up our dream super-muscle coupe can get.
Buyers can choose from three interior treatments and nine paint colors, with two hues (Ivory White and Phantom Black tri-coats) coming for a $500 premium. For $1,795 Laguna Leather SRT bucket seats can be added in place of the (very nice) stock chairs, and a fancier infotaiment system with navigation and HD radio runs $695.
