1985 Dodge Ram D350 dually with approximately 80k miles. 360 V8. Automatic transmission.
I purchased the truck earlier this year in Kentucky and drove it over 700 miles back to Maryland. It made the trip without any problems.
Interior:
- New black carpet
- New black lower door panels
- Pioneer door speakers
- CD player out of a '90's Chrysler vehicle
- New polished door sills
- Weatherstripping on both doors and windows has been replaced
- Power windows
- Tilt steering wheel
- New 'Dexter DX2' brake controller
Overall the interior is in pretty nice condition. Several plastic trim pieces have cracks and the dash has a few small cracks here and there. The truck has a clean tan bench seat with a very small tear on the drivers side. The water temperature gauge is not in working condition. An aftermarket tachometer has been added to the steering column.
Exterior:
- The truck has been painted previously and looks pretty nice. Not perfect, but definitely a nice driver quality paint job.
- Has the typical rust on the top cab drip rail. I have undercoated it several times.
- New tail lights have been installed.
- Six new Kenda Klever M/T 235/85r16 tires have been installed. 0 miles driven since installed.
- New chrome center caps on all wheels
Drive train:
- Runs strong and shifts well
- Truck has a set of headers. Both mufflers should be replaced.
Misc:
- Unsure if air conditioning is in working order.
- Heat blows warm air, but doesn't switch between dash vents, defrost or lower vents.
Overall the truck is in good condition for being nearly 30 years old. It was garage kept the last several years before I purchased it. If you're looking for a nice, driver quality Ram this could be the truck for you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Truck is sold as-is. Please email me if you need more pictures or details. I tried to describe the condition to the best of my knowledge.

Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets
Fri, 18 Oct 2013Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.
Dodge Challenger Scat Pack adds power and noise, with a warranty
Thu, 17 Apr 2014If you want to go fast, there's certainly nothing wrong with the Dodge Challenger SRT8. With 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque for 2014, there's certainly not much to complain about. But what if you want something more aftermarket in flavor? There's no shortage of options, but while turning to the tuner world will make your car plenty fast, that extra power won't just shred rear tires, it'll torch your warranty, as well. That's where Dodge's Scat Pack comes in.
With three stages of mods for both the 5.7 and 6.4-liter Hemi V8s Challenger (as well as the 5.7-liter Charger and, soon, the four-pot Dart), the Scat Pack cars give drivers all the power, aggression and noise of a heavily modded aftermarket car while maintaining the piece of mind provided by the Dodge warranty.
Power gets bumped up to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque with the 6.4-liter Scat Pack, while the 5.7-liter can provide up to 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque to add to the stock engine's 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet. It's the latter engine that can really get some work done, with upgrades ranging from the mundane - intake and exhaust - to the racy, like the ported heads and high-flow headers.
