I bought this truck in 2007 with 19,000 miles on it , it was like new , I have kept it in very good condition since I bought it servicing and replacing parts when needed , oil changed every 3000 to 5000 mile intervals. I have spent thousands on replacing parts when needed. parts replaced are . front axle , gear box , rebuilt rear axle , transfer case , replaced complete front end parts , water pumps , power steering pump rebuilt turbo last year by replacing outlet manifold gaskets , turbo gaskets , solenoid , actuater , pressure pipe . new tires on front . new rear exhaust pipe , new rear bumper The list could go on and on . Ive had scratches and dents I the body bu allways had them painted and repaired . allways had seat and steering wheel covers on so no ripps or tears in seats , are in good condition the truck runs and sounds great . engine strong . 2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights
Fri, 22 Mar 2013Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.
Dodge Viper GTS-R goes back to old-school livery
Fri, 20 Jun 2014The Dodge Viper may have been around now for over 20 years, but as far as racing achievements go, 2000 was its finest season. That's when it won the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the GTS class trophy at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its second consecutive title in the American Le Mans Series.
Since then, SRT Motorsports hasn't quite had the same success, withdrawing from Le Mans this year and shedding the Dodge name and its emblematic red and white livery for the SRT badge and a silver snakeskin theme. But now that the Viper is back under the Dodge banner, so too is the racing team returning to its classic livery.
Starting from the six-hour race at Watkins Glen next week, both the No. 91 and No. 93 Viper GTS-Rs will wear the red base color with twin white racing stripes that its more accomplished forebears wore on circuits around the world. And with it, maybe the Viper will return once again to the winner's circle at home and abroad.
Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
