Thanks for viewing my listing, I am selling at NO Reserve my Father in Laws 1992 Dodge Ram W250 Club cab 4x4. This has the Bullet proof 5.9 LT Cummins Inter cooled Turbo diesel with only 84500 original miles. Automatic transmission shifts smooth and drives straight and true down the road. New Michelin 10 ply tires , new battery, good brakes, regularly serviced and properly maintained. This is the LE model so it comes with PW PL AC Cruise ect. The Truck has some scratches and nicks here and there, but for being almost a 22 year old used truck it's in very good condition with no rust. This was his pride and joy, and was used primarily to tow his trailer up to the lake in the summers and the occasional fishing trip. My intentions were to keep it but with three kids my priorities have changed. Title is free and clear and in my possession. Although I am new to ebay please feel free to contact me with any questions you have and I will get back to you or call you ASAP. photo IMG_2661_zpsb51abb35.jpg photo IMG_2660_zpsbd4d719d.jpg photo IMG_2659_zps426dd750.jpg photo IMG_2658_zpsa1d29fe0.jpg photo IMG_2668_zps9a155194.jpg photo IMG_2678_zpsa7c3230a.jpg photo IMG_2679_zps7e626a8d.jpg photo IMG_2693_zps33ce01c7.jpg photo IMG_2692_zps5ebd448d.jpg photo P8150014_zpse605b33c.jpg photo P8150013_zps8d5af430.jpg photo P8150011_zpsc7410888.jpg photo P8150016_zpsfea60ba1.jpg photo P8150015_zps382abd54.jpg photo IMG_2681_zps08e61966.jpg photo IMG_2677_zps600b760e.jpg photo IMG_2680_zps42f3f44e.jpg photo IMG_2657_zpsb0248e11.jpg photo IMG_2670_zps82888660.jpg photo IMG_2671_zps9c944362.jpg photo IMG_2656_zps4109f469.jpg

Legacy Classic Power Wagon First Drive

Wed, Oct 7 2015

Shortly before the US entered World War II, Dodge supplied the military with a line of pickups internally codenamed WC, those letters designating the year 1941 and the half-ton payload rating. From 1941 to 1945 Dodge built more than a quarter million of them, and even though "WC" came to refer to the Weapons Carrier body style, the WC range served in 38 different configurations from pickup trucks to ambulances to six-wheeled personnel and weapons haulers. The story is that soldiers returning from active duty badgered Dodge for a civilian version of that indefatigable warhorse, so Dodge responded with the Power Wagon in 1946. Even for those no-nonsense times the truck was so austere that the first three names Dodge gave it were "Farm Utility Truck," "WDX General Purpose Truck," and "General Purpose, One Ton Truck." "Power Wagon" was the fourth choice, not finalized until just before it went on sale. Nothing like today's Power Wagon, the original could be seen as either a glorified tractor or a slightly less uncouth military vehicle – hell-for-leather meant going 50 miles per hour. But it would go nearly anywhere. The civilian version was still built like it had to survive, well, a world war; power take-offs (PTOs) ran all manner of ancillaries; multiplicative gear ratios helped it produce enough torque to make an earthquake envious. Said to be the first civilian 4x4 truck made in America, any organization that needed a simple, sturdy mechanized draught animal knew it needed a Power Wagon. If history, the aura of war, and ruthless functionality attract you but mean comforts and 70-year-old manners don't, then you need to get in touch with Legacy Classic Trucks. If that history, the aura of war, and the ruthless functionality attract you but the mean comforts and 70-year-old manners don't, then you need to get in touch with Legacy Classic Trucks. The Jackson Hole, WY, restorer retains every ounce of the Power Wagon's orchard-work aptitude, decorated with present-day amenities and the best components. Each job starts with having to find a usable donor. The city of Breckenridge, CO, bought the red truck in our gallery in 1947 and used it as a snowplow for the next 30 years. In 1977 a log-home builder bought it from the city and used it for another decade as a company hauler. That's the kind of grueling longevity that lets Ram put a five-figure premium on the 2500 Power Wagon pickup it sells today. Legacy Classics founder Winslow S.

Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).

Junkyard Gem: 1988 Dodge Diplomat Salon

Sun, Jan 29 2017

Except for the Viper, Prowler, and some Mitsubishi-derived AWD machines, all Chrysler cars went front-wheel-drive starting in the 1990 model year and continued that way until our current century. The last holdout was the Dodge Diplomat (and its Plymouth Gran Fury and Chrysler Fifth Avenue siblings), and these cars were the most common police cruisers in America throughout most of the 1980s and well into the 1990s. You won't see many Diplomats today, but I found this high-luxe civilian Salon version in my local Denver self-service yard. This one was purchased new in Cheyenne, which is just up I-25 from Denver. A Diplomat was one of the automotive protagonists in the classic car-chase scene from the 1990 film, Short Time. Diplomats have figured heavily in many films over the years. I got my first driver's license in 1982, in a Navy town with ruthless Diplomat-equipped traffic-law enforcement, and so my right foot still twitches in the direction of a brake pedal when I see this grille. This one was full of Denver-centric ephemera from the early-to-middle 1990s, layered with the shredded paper and rodent poop that indicates long-term outdoor storage, so I'm guessing that the car's elderly owner stopped driving it 20 years ago and it sat until finally evicted by an angry landlord. These cars weren't known for being particularly quick in stock form. This one has the carbureted 318-cubic-inch V8 (yes, some cars still had carburetors as late as 1988), good for 140 horsepower.
