Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn on 2040-cars
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
Thanks for looking at my Dodge ram truck. Please note this is the CREW cab, not quad or mega cab. Adults can easily fit in the back seat of this truck. I will do my very best to describe the truck. I have added some extras to the truck and will list after all the options. The tires are only a few days old. I have had an oil change every 5,000 miles done at the local Dodge dealer. The original floor mats have never been used. I took them out the day I bought the truck and installed weather tech rubber floor mats. Both sets go with the truck. Here is what the truck has: Options: 6.7 Liter Cummins6 speed Automatic TransmissionLimited Slip rear differentialIntegrated Trailer Brake ControllerKeyless Go, keyless ignition systemRemote Start System, (factory)Power adjustable pedalsRear Back up camera systemFactory Navigation with HHD and CDRoof mounted clearance lampsRear window defrostHeavy Duty Snow Plow PackageCold weather groupTransmission skid plateLeather trimmed seatsRear window DefrostHeated front seatsCooling front seatsPower adjustable front leather seats with memoryHeated steering wheelHeated rear leather seatsRemote power door locksPower WindowsTrailer HitchPower Heated Mirrors, fold out for traileringElectric 4WD selectorSteering Wheel controls, Stereo and info centerBack up Sensor systemDual zone AC & HeatSpray in bed linerRunning boards I have tried to list all the options and feature, but am sure I forgot a few. I have towed an enclosed trailer about 6 – 8 times a year and it tows incredibly. With the aftermarket engine stuff done, I get 16 – 17 mpg around town and about 22 - 23 mpg on the highway empty. The factory driveline warranty is good for 5 years or 100,000 miles. So it should still be under warranty. One of my favorite options on this truck is the cold air ventilated front seats. In the summer when it is hot, you can have cool air blown out of the two front seats. Really works well. The heated seats and heated steering wheel are also nice features for the winter. Overall, this truck is in excellent condition. There are only a couple small scratches on the vehicle see the picture of the bumper close up. I would rate the exterior as a 8 ½ - 9 out of 10. The interior has no tears or wear spots and I would rate it as a 9 out of 10. I Used this truck for snow plowing. I am NOT a commercial operation. I plow the parking lot where I work and the church I attend and 3 driveways. Last year I only plowed 4 times because of the mild winter. In the 2 years I have had the truck, I have used the plow approx. 12 -14 times. I do not abuse my trucks and plows.

2013 Dodge Dart gets brace of new special edition models
Thu, 16 May 2013After almost a year on the market it, it is becoming more clear to Dodge how customers like to option out their Darts, so the automaker has combined popular features into three special edition packages and sweetened the prices. Start with a standard 2013 Dart and add either the SXT or Limited "Special Editions" or Rallye Appearance Group, and you'll save yourself a lot of box checking.
The $595 Dart SXT Special Edition takes the trim just above the base model and adds a new grille, dark-tinted headlights and projector fog lights, LED racetrack taillights, cruise control and audio controls on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Limited Special Edition starts with the top-end model and adds a power sunroof, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and Nappa leather seats among other features, for $1,810.
The Rallye Appearance Group (pictured) is a package for the SXT, and it blacks out the front fascia, throws on 17-inch wheels and some badging for $395. The new special editions are reaching dealers now and could help the Dart's sales to further improve after a slow start. You can find out more about them in the press release below.
Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).
Performance doesn't matter anymore, it's all about the feel
Wed, Aug 24 2022We've just had a week of supercars and high-end EVs revealed. Many of them boast outrageous performance specs. There were multiple vehicles with horsepower in the four-figure range, and not just sports cars, but SUVs with 0-60 mph times under 3.5 seconds. And it's not just a rarified set of supercar builders, comparatively small tuners are also building this stuff. Going fast is easy nowadays and getting easier. So what will distinguish the greats from the wannabes? It's all about how a car feels. This may seem obvious. "Of course it matters that a car should have good steering feel and a playful chassis!" you say. "Why are you being paid for this stuff?" But a lot of automakers have missed the memo. This past week I spent some time in a BMW M4 Competition convertible, and it's a perfect example of prioritizing performance over experience. It boggles my mind how a company can create such dead and disconnected steering; the weight never changes, there's no feel whatsoever. The chassis is inflappable, but to a fault, because it doesn't feel like anything you're doing is difficult or exciting. The car is astoundingly fast and capable, but it feels less like driving a car and more like tapping in a heading on the Enterprise-D. I also happened to drive something of comparable performance that was much more enjoyable: a Mercedes-AMG GT. It was a basic model with the Stealth Edition blackout package, and even though it had a twin-turbo V8 instead of a six-cylinder, it only made 20 more horsepower. The power wasn't the big differentiator, it was (say it with me) the feel. While not the best example, the steering builds resistance as you dial in lock, giving you a better idea of what's happening up front. Pulses and vibrations come back to you as you move over bumpy pavement in corners. The chassis isn't quite as buttoned down, either, providing a little bit of body roll that tells you you're pushing it. It's also easier to feel when the car is wanting to understeer or oversteer, and how your throttle and steering inputs are affecting it. The whole thing is much more involving, exciting and fun. 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Stealth Edition View 8 Photos That's also to say nothing of the Merc's sounds. That V8 is maybe not the best sounding engine, but its urgent churn through the opened-up exhaust gets your heart racing. It also seems like it's vibrating the whole cabin, so you feel it as much as you hear it.
