Hello diesel family and friends, my name is Tom my wife and I have been licensed PA new and used DieselTruck dealers since the late 70's and have been involved in diesel trucks as our speciality. Trust me they are not cheep, but worth the extra if you can swing it. If you guys have been watching my ads I sell mint 12 valves on ebay I have sold 15 of them in the past year for 14 grand and up, this is what I start with a mint rust free frame and body I paint and detail them and get 15 grand for them,,,here is your chance to buy one for what I pay without going to Texas, I have so many irons in the fire I'm willing to sacrifice one to any smart buyer if there is any out there.. This is one you can cherry out or drive as it is, needs nothing mechanically, the 12 valve fires right up, no smoke, no alterations all bone stock, trans shifts good with recent overhaul. Tight front end, good rubber. The frame is like brand new, body straight and all original paint scorched and weathered by the hot texas sun, no rust though. In my opinion I thing the weathering and patina is georgous I'd just clear coat over it for the old look. Please no calls on whats your bottom line or whats it going to take, I own it for 8800.00 that's the bottom line, but alaways open to serious offers OVER 8 grand!!! Old vs. New: 2014 SRT Viper takes on upgraded 16-year-old Dodge Viper
Fri, 08 Feb 2013It's easy to play the "Would you rather have a New X or an Old Y with a bunch of upgrades?" game more often than we care to admit, but the crew at Car and Driver have taken bench racing to the next level with their latest video. In it, the magazine pits a brand-new 2014 SRT Viper against a highly modified 1997 Dodge Viper GTS. There are 16 years between the time this particular GTS rolled off the production line and when the new car bowed, but that doesn't mean the old snake's owners have been sitting on their hands.
Thanks to a spate of modifications, the GTS offers up a better power to weight ratio than the new machine, but is that enough to overcome the technological leap forward represented by the 2014 Viper? We won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to check out the full clip below for yourself.

Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC.
