Up for auction is this BEAUTIFUL one owner lady owned no accidents 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT SPORT with the new for 2007 6.7L cummins turbo diesel. Automatic transmission, 2wd, crew cab, and only 94k ORIGINAL MILES. Never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel, in fact the bed looks brand new. It was recently serviced at the dodge dealership 2 months ago at a cost of over $1200. It is ready to drive. You will not find a better truck for the money. The sport package 2500's are very hard to find. The engine and trans are in perfect condition, no leaks, no problems. The trans shifts smooth and has never been abused. Has factory jake brake. Tires are close to 75-80%. Wheels are the top of the line aluminum ones, not the cheap steel. Power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, ice cold a/c, brake controller, power seat, 6 disc changer, infinity speakers, center console with 2 storage compartments, as well as extra tray under back seat that folds out. This truck is loaded!!! Couple very minor paint chips and scratches, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 2007 model truck. One chip on outside of passeger fold out mirror. This truck is very clean. Never smoked in, no odors, no rips and no tears in the interior. Everything works as it should. 94k isn't even broken in on a diesel this truck was almost $40k new and i have a clean clear title in hand. The private party on this truck is near 25k, I am selling it NO RESERVE high bidder wins. Look at my feedback and bid with confidence! No games here. I reserve the right to end this auction early at any time for any reason, as truck is for sale locally. Thanks and good luck. Please ask with any questions.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
