Up for auction is a VERY low mileage 2007 (2007.5) Dodge Ram 2500 ST with the newer 6.7L Cummins Turbodiesel.  Quad cab (four doors), automatic, 2WD. Red exterior, gray vinyl interior. Towing package with trailer brake controller. Heavy duty running boards. Clean, beautiful truck in great shape and meticulously maintained. Zero accidents, and above average condition for a 2007. Please see hi-res photos for blemishes, as we've tried to document every square inch of the truck with photos in the interest of full disclosure to the lucky new buyer.

MECHANICAL:

Runs and drives very well. No leaks, no check engine or other warning lights.  Comes with programmable trailer brake controller already installed. Tires may have about 5k-10k miles left on them.

EXTERIOR:

Not perfect, but well above average for a 2007 with only slight nicks and scratches. Paint shines like new, as it has been washed and waxed religiously. We have photographed every square inch of the truck's body, so please message us if you'd like us to email you hi-res versions of the photos you see on this listing. There are scratches in the bed that are consistent with normal use.  A bedliner would certainly cover these up.  Undercarriage is very clean, as the truck has never been used off-road.

INTERIOR:

Not perfect, but well above average for a 2007. Clean, with the few usual dirt spots on the wear areas of the seats and doors (clearly visible in the photos) that can likely be removed with a bit of elbow grease. Seats have no tears. Never smoked in. You'll certainly be very happy with this truck.

SHIPPING:

Worldwide shipping available. Please let us know if you need a shipping quote.

PAYMENT:

A nonrefundable $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction, which can be made through PayPal, cash, wire transfer, or certified check.  Full payment is to be received within 7 days of the close of the auction and must be made by wire transfer, certified check, or cashier's check.

Redonkulous Dodge Charger is ridin' high

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

We're a bit hazy on the styling of this particular donk, which was recently spotted hashing about by HotCarsTV at the Southern Heritage Classic Car show in Memphis. Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. Take a look down below for a brief video of this outrageous mean green machine on the road.

Chrysler recalling 278,222 trucks and SUVs over bad rear axles

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall of 278,222 light trucks and sport utility vehicles here in the United States. The reason: bad rear axles. Specifically, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the rear axle pinion nut may lack a necessary adhesive patch, which could cause the nut to loosen. If this happens, the axle can lock up, which could cause all sorts of havoc on the road.
This is an expansion of the rear axle recall announced in October of last year, where 44,300 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota models were being called in. At that time, 12 accidents had been reported due to the faulty axle pinion nut.
Affected vehicles include Ram 1500 trucks from the 2009 to 2012 model years, Dodge Dakota models from the 2009 to 2011 model years, and both the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango SUV twins, both from the 2009 model year only.

Fiat Chrysler expands Takata airbag recall to 3.3M vehicles

Fri, Dec 19 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is expanding its recall of vehicles equipped with Takata airbags, moving beyond Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands to the greater US, as well as Mexico, Canada and beyond. The affected vehicles, some 3.3 million in total, were built between 2004 and 2007, with many models, including the Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500, Durango and the Chrysler 300, having been affected by Chrysler's previous recall. Despite the somewhat alarming nature that comes with a recall of this many vehicles, it seems that Chrysler is moving more out of an abundance of caution (and federal pressure) than anything else, saying: "Neither FCA US, nor Takata Corporation, the supplier, has identified a defect in this population of inflators. These components also are distinct from Takata inflators cited in fatalities involving other auto makers. More than 1,000 laboratory tests have been performed on these components. All deployed as intended, but FCA US continues to study the suspect inflators, which are not used in the Company's current production vehicles." Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and asked to report to dealers for a free replacement driver's side airbag. Scroll down for the official press release from FCA. Statement: Global Air-Bag Inflator Replacement December 19, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC will replace driver's-side air-bag inflators in an estimated 3.3 million older-model vehicles worldwide, in an expansion of an ongoing regional field action. Neither FCA US, nor Takata Corporation, the supplier, has identified a defect in this population of inflators. These components also are distinct from Takata inflators cited in fatalities involving other auto makers. More than 1,000 laboratory tests have been performed on these components. All deployed as intended, but FCA US continues to study the suspect inflators, which are not used in the Company's current production vehicles. Outside of Florida, one of the areas covered by the original action, no FCA US vehicle has been linked to an air-bag deployment of the type that has raised public concern. Nevertheless, the Company is replacing the Takata components tied to that concern. FCA US is aware of one related injury involving one of its vehicles, an older-model sedan. It occurred in a southern Florida region marked by persistent, high, absolute humidity – a condition believed to be a contributing factor in the air-bag deployments under investigation.
