I have for sale my 2006 Ram 2500 SLT 4X4 Quad Cab Heavy Duty.    This truck is a good representation of a very well maintained, taken care of, used truck. The truck has never had a gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch installed, and never has had a chip or programmer in it wither!!

Has the very reliable long lasting 5.9 Cummins with an automatic transmission. Truck just turned over 128K. I drive the truck everyday, so the mileage will increase a little.

Only pulled small trailers loaded with a couple 4 wheelers, or my riding scag mower. Never abused, adult owned and driven. Never taken off road etc. Front seats have always had some type of seat covers, all the seats are like new! Always non smoker adult owned and driven. It has a hard tonneau cover, as well as ryno liner installed.

Power windows, power seats, heated mirrors, rear sliding glass, premium alloy wheels, CD player, factory running boards, hood visor, KC highlites, westin brush bar, ryno liner, hard bed topper, dual compartment armrest console, overhead console, block heater for the cold temps, I am sure I am forgetting something...

All scheduled maintenances performed and are current. The Ram is unmolested. The only parts I have added to the truck are the aftermarket air box and intake, and the westin bull bar with KC highlites. I still have the factory parts that I removed. The truck has new pair of batteries, serpentine belt, water pump, and a new 5" Stainless Exhaust system. The exhaust is completely new from the turbo to the stainless exhaust tip! Sounds great, has muffler, and not very loud, just has a nice sound to it.  I have videos available of the truck, running driving, idling, etc

The truck is used and I will answer any and all questions honestly. The truck is not perfect and does has a couple flaws that the new owner may want to take care of. The truck has rust bubbles in each quarter above the rear wheel and lower right side bed corner.. The drivers side had rust bubbles three years ago. I had that cut out and repaired, but the repair didn't last. It need to be fixed correctly. The a/c stop blowing cold air, I have not taken it in for repair, and I am not sure what is wrong with it.   Other than those two items, the only thing I could be critical of the truck is the tires only has 10-15K miles left of tread.

I have more pictures.  I will be happy to send any picture of any area on the truck you may want to see.  I also have several videos and do not mind to share those and/or shoot a video of anything you want to see.  I want to represent the truck as open and honest as I possibly can.  I want the winning buyer to be happy with the truck as I have been!

Thanks for looking. If you decide to bid, thank you, good luck and God Bless!

2019 Ram 1500 features an updated Ram's head badge

Fri, Jan 19 2018

Full-size truck owners love to make a statement. That's how we've arrived at the mile-high grilles, acres of chrome and belt buckle-esque badging you'll find on trucks like the Chevy Silverado, Ford F-150 and Nissan Titan. The new 2019 Ram 1500 made its debut this week at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show. While the sheetmetal and grille are the most obvious visual changes, the ram's head badge quietly got a modern redesign. At first glance, it appears to be the same badge that's graced Dodge and Ram vehicles for decades. Look closely and you'll see that this new one is all squared off, ditching all the curves for straight edges. It looks chiseled rather than carved and is a far cry from the detailed Ram's head that made a debut back in 1981. It also incorporates the new "RAM" lettering that replaced the crosshair in the truck's grille. View 4 Photos Little things like this do a lot to keep a vehicle fresh. Dodge seems to be the only automaker capable of changing logos anymore. Ford and Chevy are stuck with the blue oval and bowtie, so why not take advantage of a newer nameplate? Find these Star Wars-themed Dodge muscle cars near you

Sun, Dec 13 2015

Getting excited for the upcoming release of The Force Awakens? Well you're not alone. Aside from the legions of fans squeezing into their costumes to line up for the theatrical premier on December 18, Dodge has been roaming the streets of Los Angeles with three Star Wars-themed muscle cars. And you can track where they're going on Twitter. The trio includes a Charger and Challenger, both in SRT spec, with Hellcat engines, and wrapped to look like Stormtroopers from the First Order Legion like the Fiat 500e we saw at the LA show last month. They're joined by a Viper ACR done up in a black livery inspired by Kylo Ren – one of the villains in the upcoming sequel. The special squadron has been patrolling the streets of LA since Friday and will be through Monday. If you spot them, you can post their location to Twitter with the hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens – and if you haven't, you can see where others have in real time. As we go to press, they've already been spotted in Beverly Hills, at The Grove, and on Hollywood Boulevard. Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen cars used to promote Star Wars, or vice versa. Volkswagen famously channeled Darth Vader, Toyota used everyone's favorite droids to advertise the Prius PHEV, and Nissan used Stormtroopers to promote the Juke. Red Bull even had its whole team dressed up in costume at the 2005 Monaco Grand Prix. We doubt this will be the last time we'll see the Force propel itself on four wheels in our galaxy, either. How fracking is causing Chrysler minivans to sit on Detroit's riverfront

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

It's fascinating the way that one change to a complex system can have all sorts of unintended consequences. For instance, there are hundreds of new Chrysler Town and County and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans built in Windsor, Ontario, sitting in lots on the Detroit waterfront because of the energy boom in the Bakken oil field in the northern US and parts of Canada.
The huge amount of crude oil coming from these sites mostly use freight trains for transport, and that supply boom has resulted in a shortage of railcars to carry other goods. According to The Windsor Star, North American crude oil transport by train has gone from 9,500 carloads in 2008 to 434,032 carloads in 2013. Making matters worse, some North American rail infrastructure is still damaged because of this year's harsh winter, and that's slowing things down even further.
Chrysler admits to The Star that it has had some delivery delays due to the freight train shortage. In the meantime, it's using more trucks to deliver its vehicles. Trucking is a far less economical solution, partially because a train can carry so many more units at one time, but alternatives are slim. The Windsor plant alone has a deal for 33 trucks to distribute the minivans around Canada and the Midwestern US.
