Wow where do I start with this AWESOME one of a kind truck!! Yes this is a Powerwagon!! First off take a look at my feedback and you will see that both as a buyer and a seller I never misrepresent and item that I sell and only sell quality stuff! I also pride myself in putting a low buy it now and that is how most of my auctions end. With a simple click! This truck has been my personal truck for the last year. Now I am bored and going to build a new body style Powerwagon. Some where's I have a carfax stating this was a one owner truck. I replaced 2 doors, rear driveshaft and had the front clip replaced with 2008 stuff. This truck runs and drives down the road great with no issues. At app 80,000 miles the plugs were replaced (16 of them) and the transmission was flushed. At 85,000 miles or so the front axle joints were replaced along with one hub and the front propshaft. Assuring many miles of trouble free service! I also just had the tires rotated and the oil changed and you will see a copy of inspection with everything being good! The PPG 2012 Dodge challenger Header Orange paint was over a $1,000.00 buy itself!! Has a custom audio system with U-connect, touchscreen and Navigation and DVD in motion. And other upgrades! Tires are almost like new. Custom Leather was installed at app 82,000 miles and the interior is in very nice condition! I also had true Astrostart added along with alarm system. I do not believe for the money you will find a nicer truck that is a Powerwagon and one of a kind! If you do not have the funds DO NOT BID!!!! Pre inspection of course is welcome and I can be reached to answer any questions at 218-252-4828. I will assist your shipper and once sold a Jeep to France!! The truck has a Salvage title and probably should not but does. No windshield cracks and ALL power acc. work like they should including Ice cold AIR!! DO NOT wait. Also has custom 2 inch receiver hitch located behind the license plate and the rollpan is welded on and is Sweet!! Locking tailgate and wethertech floormats. BEST OF THE BEST SIMPLY PUT!!! Good luck!! Please note I will add more stuff as I think about it. All bodywork and paint was done at Anderson Customs of Menahga MN (218-564-5164) if you have any questions the owners name is Mike and he is known for doing super nice restorations. Truck also has a tonnue cover (tri-fold) and a bedliner. Check out the custom rollpan and exhaust! I left the stock muffler as I do not like a noisy truck but the pipes were replaced from the muffler behind as well as tips were added. The stripes were all professionally installed by my sign lettering man. Again truck has no known issues (I have had occasional check engine light that says evaporative emissions) but more then likely a gas cap. No lights on NO BS. Just a sweet truck and the Cheapest true POWERWAGON you will find! The custom paint more then makes up for the marked title! About $2,000 or so in the audio. Kenwood doubledin! Kicker speakers and amp. A custom box and Pioneer sub! Tires in sweet shape. All lights and everything works GREAT! PLEASE call with any questions! I have most receipts to go with the truck. TONS INVESTED! But my god look at it! And again I am just bored and building a new (Salvage title) body style Power Wagon and that is the ONLY reason I am selling!

Ram to go on a Rampage with new small pickup?
Wed, 16 Jul 2014When people look back at today's automotive industry, what do you think they'll remember us for? The emergence of hybrids? Ever more expensive and exotic supercars? The dawn of the self-driving car? All likely scenarios, but so is the blurring of lines between one bodystyle and another, giving rise to hardtop convertible coupes and crossovers of every shape and size. But one bodystyle the North American auto industry has stayed largely away from in the past couple of decades is a car nose and chassis with a pickup bed.
It's a bodystyle immortalized by the Chevrolet El Camino, but with few exceptions, we haven't seen too many of these automotive platypuses in recent years on our turf. Subaru tried with the Baja and the low-volume Honda Ridgeline soldiers along largely unchanged, but the genre's biggest adherents are still Down Under, where ute versions of the Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon live. With a few other examples scattered to the four corners of the earth, that's really about it. But if these spy shots are anything to go by, it looks like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles could be working to bring it back.
Spied undergoing testing in Michigan, what we appear to be looking at is a heavily disguised Fiat Strada being prepared - like the Fiat Ducato-based Ram ProMaster and the smaller Doblo-based ProMaster City - for Stateside duty as a Ram product. The Strada, for those unfamiliar, is a product of Fiat Automóveis in Brazil and is based on the Palio economy car. The nameplate has been around South America since 1996 and was originally designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro (long before Volkswagen monopolized his talents), and takes a more rugged approach in the form of the Strada Adventure.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392
Mon, Mar 9 2015I've just started reading the third installment in a planned five-book biography of Lyndon Baines Johnson, Master of the Senate, written by the incomparable Robert Caro. Conveniently, a recent trip to drive the BMW X6 M and 228i Convertible was to be staged in Austin, TX, within easy driving distance of LBJ's birthplace, Johnson City. And yes, the city is named for his family. Having completed my duties with the Bimmers, I borrowed the spangled 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392 you see above, to squire me around the Texas capitol for a weekend, and as a lift out to the Hill Country homestead of our 36th President. Johnson City isn't exactly a road trip mecca, but there's a pretty good brewery, a museum, the reconstructed LBJ house to take snapshots of, and it's a nice drive to get out there if you've got a 485-horsepower muscle car at your disposal. Driving Notes With the heroic Hellcat, this 392 and the R/T Scat Pack (that Brandon Turkus reviewed recently), there are more SRT-treated Challengers to choose from than ever before. There are 707 obvious reasons that the Hellkitty is the top dog (as it were), but there are important difference between this 392 and the Scat Pack, too. Both cars make use of the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 putting out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, but the 392 also gets an adaptive suspension, six-piston Brembo brake calipers (instead of four-piston), wider tires, leather and Alcantara seats, a heated steering wheel, a louder stereo and HID headlights. When LBJ was campaigning for his seat in the House of Representatives, he would've loved to have something as potent as this monster of a V8 under the hood of his canvassing car. The 6.4L snorts with authority before it sends the big coupe forward to just about any speed I'd ask of it, and with a quickness. Johnson was known for haranguing drivers to step on it, when all that stood between himself and a few more votes was the ability to fit one more stump speech into the day. The 392 feels as though it could cover a quarter of the state of Texas in a morning if you throttle down deep enough (faster even than the Johnson City Windmill, I'd guess). Though there's a six-speed manual available, I'm actually quite fond of the eight-speed automatic in the 392. The two-pedal setup better suits the fast-cruiser attitude of the car, and it never served up any poorly conceived shift logic when I left it in D. Of course, the roads are better now than they were in the 1930s and 40s, too.
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
