Winchester, Virginia, United States

2003 Dodge Ram 2500 HD with the 5.7 Hemi. The truck runs great with only 85,000 original miles. The motor idles smooth and is very quiet with perfect oil pressure. I've had the truck for a little over a year and have never had any problems with it. All maintenece has been logged and done on time. It has an automatic trans that shifts very smooth. 4 wheel drive engages and disengages as it should. The body is in great shape, nearly no defects other than a small ding on the tail gate. The paint is in great shape for its age, no fading and it has been waxed monthly. The interior is also in great shape. It has power leather seats with no rips or tears. Carpet doesn't have any stains and the head liner is in great shape. All the power options work as they should. Aftermarket pioneer head unit with blue tooth along with Sony speakers. The front windows have been tinted to the legal limit. Overhead display showing MPG's and outside temp. New A/c condenssor fan and also recharged. Both A/C and heat work great. Front axle seals and U-joints replaced 5k miles ago. Has the HD Tie Rod swap. Has a clean carfax and I am the third owner.

Upgrades include
-Banks exhaust (sounds great)
-K&N cold air intake
-Bully Dog Programmer
-Power steering box brace
-Front differential cover
-Mile Marker Lock Out Hubs
-2" skyjacker Lift kit
-Defiant front light bar
-4 Soltek spot lights ($600)

-Trailer brake
-17" XD wheels
-35" Nitto Trail Grappler tires with atleast 85% tread left

-Aftermarket shorty wires

Being a 2500 it has the AAM 9.25 front differential with a AAM 10.50 in the rear with Limited slip. 3:73 gears front and rear. The truck runs perfect and is 100%. It's been babied its whole life and mechanic owned. Never been offroad just drivin around town. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to California and back.

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat vs. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in latest Head 2 Head

Fri, Jan 30 2015

"Olympian" is one of the terms we use to signify the greatest height, the seat of the gods. Yet Mt. Olympus is the second-highest peak in the Balkans ranges, overshadowed by the crest at Musala in Bulgaria's Rila mountains. Both great heights, but one is a little higher. That's how we get the Olympian Chevy Camaro ZL1 pitched at the Musalic Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in Motor Trend's latest episode of Head 2 Head. The side-by-side spec sheet is filled with farcical numbers. For the ZL1, that's a 6.2-liter V8 with 580 horsepower, 556 pound-feet of torque, a 4,051-pound curb weight, 0-to-60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 12.2 seconds and a base price of just $57,800. Opposing that, the Hellcat wrings out its 6.2-liter V8 for 707 hp, 650 lb-ft of torque, weighs 4,449 pounds, does the quarter in 11.7 seconds and has a base price of just $60,990. Except in the case of the Hellcat, when Motor Trend put it on the dyno the machine spit out a reading of 672 hp and 606 lb-ft at the wheels. If there's a 10-percent driveline loss through those beefed-up internals and heavy-duty eight-speed transmission, that means the Hellcat is actually rated at about 750 horsepower and 700 lb-ft. But once they get put on a closed-off strip of coast road in Northern California, there are only a few strands of hair between their respective performances. That's not the case for they sensations provide; host Jonny Lieberman calls one of them, "One of the most incredible cars ever made," and says, "It changes everything." Watch the video above to see who got the verdict and how. Related Video:

Dodge Viper GTS-R goes back to old-school livery

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

The Dodge Viper may have been around now for over 20 years, but as far as racing achievements go, 2000 was its finest season. That's when it won the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the GTS class trophy at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its second consecutive title in the American Le Mans Series.
Since then, SRT Motorsports hasn't quite had the same success, withdrawing from Le Mans this year and shedding the Dodge name and its emblematic red and white livery for the SRT badge and a silver snakeskin theme. But now that the Viper is back under the Dodge banner, so too is the racing team returning to its classic livery.
Starting from the six-hour race at Watkins Glen next week, both the No. 91 and No. 93 Viper GTS-Rs will wear the red base color with twin white racing stripes that its more accomplished forebears wore on circuits around the world. And with it, maybe the Viper will return once again to the winner's circle at home and abroad.

Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.
