I'm listing my 2003 dodge 2500 with 186k miles, I have sold several diesel trucks on ebay and never had any problems I will describe the truck the best I can, this is my own personal truck, ive put over 1,000 miles on it since I have had it. Its just time to move on to the next one. It runs and drives great, the steering is nice and tight and the 5.9 HO 305 hp cummins diesel sounds great, doesn't leak any oil or have any issues, ice cold air and hot heat, the automatic trans shifts great and does everything as it should. The 4 wheel drive works great, the truck is bone stock even down to the stock muffler, the only modification it has is a air dog fuel pump and filter, so this truck gets the cleanest best diesel possible so it will run great for years to come. The truck has very nice factory paint, I would rate the body a 8 out of 10, you might find a handful of small scratches and minor dents but overall the truck is very slick. This is a southern truck so its completely rust free inside and out. The frame and underneath look nice and dry. The truck is a Laramie so it has the best of the best inside, the inside I would rate a 8.5 out of 10. The leather heated seats look really good, the drivers has a small pin hole that you can see in the picture but that's it the rest of the seats are very nice, theres no stains in the carpet or weird smells just very clean, the truck does have the infamous dodge dash crack but its not a bad one. The windows have also been tinted, The truck has larger than stock 315 tires, they make the truck look great, they have about 30-40% tread left, the tires have a aggressive tread pattern so they do roar going down the road. It also has a adjustable ball in the bed. The truck has a clean/clear title its never been wrecked. Everything works on the truck as it should, lights, trailer hookup, all the interior buttons, cd player, etc..... I am selling this truck at no reserve so bid to win, please have all funds in place before you bid or be approved for a loan before you bid, I have 3 ways to offer you to pick the truck up. You can pick it up here in science hill Kentucky 42553 at our small dealership, you can fly in and I will meet you at the Lexington ky airport and you can drive the truck home, or I can ship the truck to your door via car transporter. I can get very cheap rates you can call or text me and I will be glad to give you a quote. For payment I will take cash, bank cashiers check, wire transfer, or loan check. If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to call me (Jordan) at 606-305-2885 or text is fine also.

Rare Dodge Shelby Dakota is a very '80s sport truck
Fri, Jun 3 2016The late-great Carroll Shelby built an incredibly successful career of making all sorts of cars faster, more often than not, with a bigger or more potent engine under the hood. The icons are well known—legends like the Shelby Cobra, GT350 Mustang, and the big GT500. But by the 1980s, Shelby was plying his trade over at Chrysler, at the behest of chairman Lee Iacocca, churning out special editions like the Dodge Shelby Charger, zippy CSX, rorty GLHS, and this—the 1989 Shelby Dakota muscle truck. 1,500 of these racy pickups were built for just one year and a whole two-and-a-half decades later they still turn heads. This one especially. The spotless pickup recently turned up for sale online , and its odometer reads a claimed 25,307 miles. So what makes these rarified work trucks special? As with most Shelbys, it starts under the hood. Up until 1989, the standard Dodge Dakota pickups were offered in only four-cylinder and V6 variants. But Dodge (and Shelby) wanted more, so the larger 5.2-liter Magnum V8 from Dodge's full-size pickup was shoehorned into the midsize Dakota, albeit not effortlessly. To fit, Dodge had to swap the V8's belt-driven fan for an electric unit mounted in front of the radiator. That did the trick, as well as earned the V8 a few extra ponies, pushing the special Dakota up to 175 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. That performance may sound paltry by today's standards, but in 1989 it was seen as quite sporty, and netted a zero to 60 mph dash in 8.5 seconds. A four-speed automatic with lockup torque converter transmitted that power to the rear wheels. Additional Shelby performance goodies included a limited-slip differential, transmission cooler, along with a host of eye-catching body mods, including a unique air dam and bumpers, Shelby floor mats, monogramed seats and door panels, a "CS" steering wheel, 15-spoke hollow alloy wheels, and shouty body graphics. While the Shelby Dakota didn't return for 1990, its V8 legacy did continue, and in 1991 the 5.2-liter eight-cylinder became an option on new Dakotas. Of the 1,500 Shelby Dakota pickups built, 860 were dressed in red while a rarer 640 came adorned in Bright White. This '89 is said to be #245 of those white trucks, sold new to its original (and sole) owner in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for $15,985 (the Shelby package cost $3,933 in its day). Currently, it's demanding bids north of $10,000 for its low-mileage originality. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication
Tue, 28 Oct 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
Lackluster Dodge Dart sales trigger layoffs
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Hidden amidst the overall very positive sales figures that Chrysler released earlier this week were a few disappointments, the biggest of which may be the Dodge Dart. While Dodge sales in general were down 11 percent from a year ago, the Dart's poor figures stood out from the rest - with 4,888 units sold, the Dart was down 37 percent in February.
It comes as little surprise, then, that the automaker has announced layoffs at its assembly plant in Belvidere, IL. According to The Daily Herald, Dodge will temporarily lay off 325 workers "to balance vehicle supply with current sales demand." Put more simply, there are more Darts than buyers at the moment...
We don't think the Dodge Dart is a bad car, but it's playing in a market that offers a few standout sellers, like the Chevy Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. According to AutoPacific analyst Dave Sullivan, as quoted by The Daily Herald, "great incentives on the Dodge Avenger" are also partly to blame for the Dart's poor showing.
