This is my personal vehicle, I've owned this Ram for years and it has been a wonderful and reliable workhorse. The truck is a 2001 Dodge Ram extended cab (4 doors) with the AWESOME 24V Cummins Turbocharged Intercooled diesel engine backed by the automatic 4 speed transmission with lock-up converter and overdrive, and the Dana rear with 3.55 gears. The truck has just over 205k on the odometer (this motor is barely broken in) and she starts, runs, drives like a champ and pulls like a freight train!!!

This 2500 has less than 3000 miles on complete front-end rebuild including upper & lower ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arms, pitman arm, etc. I also just had the last PM service performed which included oil change & filter, diesel fuel filter, complete transmission service with new filter, fuel injector cleaning and radiator flush. Complete set of brakes 5000 miles ago including all new rotors, calipers, pads and rubber lines. Additionally, I installed four brand new tires on the truck and had an alignment done at the same time the front-end was rebuilt. These tires also have maybe 3000 miles on them as well.

The truck has a "Power-Puck" programmer installed which adds another 50hp by simply plugging in the module as well as a full 4" inch straight pipe exhaust system, as well as a cold air intake system with color matched hood scoop. I installed new batteries about 1 year ago as well as a new serpentine belt and tensioner. I am almost obsessive about vehicle maintenance and this truck is no exception as you can tell.

The Ram has a clean, non-smoker interior showing only minimal wear (see photos). I've installed an aftermarket CD player as well as Kenwood speakers which sounds great. The truck has factory power windows, power door locks, cruise control, tilt wheel as well as aftermarket pillar mounted gauges (triple) that monitor fuel pressure, boost pressure and exhaust temp. Although the A/C is working, its blowing only cool air rather than ice cold but this may need a simple recharging and it does still blow cool air. The heater works great.

The truck also has late-model chrome 17" OEM Dodge Ram wheels, a painted fiberglass "Leer" topper with tempered glass and pop-out side windows, tinted windows, factory towing package with an electronic brake controller, etc. A new dash topper has been installed to replace the cracked factory dash as well as a small break has been glued.

The truck does have its share of dings scratches and dents, and some chrome is peeling off the front grill, but the paint remains bright and shiny and looks great as you can see in the pictures. It is a truck after all so it has a few scars from being used and driven but overall it's a 100% solid and reliable truck. I just did an 800 mile round-trip pulling a 7000 lbs. trailer and you could barely tell the trailer was behind you! Traveling about 75mph down the highway with the loaded trailer behind me the motor is purring at barely 2000 rpm and I get on average 21mpg.

The truck runs and drives great, all the lights, wipers, and gauges work with the exception of the fuel pressure gauge that needs a new $15. sending unit. I have a clean and clear title in my hand ready to transfer to her new owner. Please cash money only, no checks, no PayPal (other than the deposit) and I am not interested in trades or low ball offers.

This is a good solid and reliable truck that has been completely maintained and will surely make its new owner very happy. The ONLY reason I'm selling this truck is that I recently obtained a new Ram and don't have a need for two. Fly in, drive home. I have absolutely no apprehension in telling you that this truck can be driven across the country today!

Please do not bid unless you have the cash to complete the sale. I am happy to store the truck in my yard for a week or so if needed but the truck will need to be paid in full in no longer than seven days after the auction ends. I will require a $500.00 deposit to be paid within 24 hours from the auctions end by PayPal. If you have questions please ask. If you care to inspect the truck, please message me to set it up. The truck is being sold in "as is" and "where is" condition, so please do your inspections and/or questions BEFORE the auction ends as all sales are considered final. Thanks for looking and good luck if you choose to bid.

Which electric cars can charge at a Tesla Supercharger?

Sun, Jul 9 2023

The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric.  Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands.  If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla.  Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor.  Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have:  Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.

Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Dodge introduces new tech into its 2016 pursuit vehicles that even Jake and Elwood couldn't outrun. I'm Adam Morath and this is your Autoblog Minute. The 2016 Dodge Charger Pursuit vehicles are getting Uconnect 12.1. The system's new laptop size touch screen will be dash mounted and at 12.1" is 5 times larger than the current Uconnect 5.0 system. Features of Uconnect 12.1 [00:00:30] include an all-new drag and drop menu bar and Siri Eyes Free. No clunky laptops needed because the system is ergonomically located in the dash. The SRT pursuit vehicles will also be getting 370 hp, factory-installed Mopar upfit packages and an advanced all-wheel-drive system for maximum tactical performance, all-weather traction and fuel-efficiency. [00:01:00] It's clear that the new Charger pursuit vehicles have all the best tech available from Dodge but one important question remains: Do these cruisers got S.C.M.O.D.S.? Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
