Hello You are looking at a Very nice 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. This was the year they switched body styles and added the Half door for the back seat. But they made it 6 months with the 12v Cummins which is manual injection pump And 6 months with the 24v Cummins which is electronic injection pump. Everyone wants The 12v Cummins because there is no computer. They run forever. But this has been my daily driver for about the past 4 Years. The truck has never let me down. I would not be scared to drive it anywhere. The truck has been very well taken care of. I change the oil every 5,000 miles. Just put brand new tires on the truck about 4 months ago and they probably only have about 2,500 miles on them. Just did front brakes about a year ago along with the ball-joints. I put a MBRP exhaust system on the truck. I Also Installed Isspro gauges exhaust gas temperature, boost, and transmission temperature ( that gauge is not hooked up because they gave me wrong sensor for transmission when installing but have right sensor and will give to buyer just has to be installed.  The truck runs strong and shifts smooth. Have amsoil in the differentials, the transmission and use 15-40 amsoil in the motor. I also installed a k&n cold air-intake, H.I.D headlights, L.E.D 3rd brake light and rear tail lights. The Toolbox shown in picture is not included with the truck. That is on my new truck.Only reason for selling is the family is growing and needed a four door. It doesn't have alot of rust. Just has some starting on the passenger doors and drivers front fender. Also the driver front fender has two small dents in it. I have a used fender i had bought to repalce that one with, Just had not done it yet. Also there is a small dent in the tailgate ( shown in the pictures ) . Everything works great on the truck 4x4, cruise, all power windows, power locks. I also installed a new radio. The owner before me put a wooden duck head on the 4x4 shifter i had just left it but the normal knob that comes on it is in the glove box. It gets pretty good fuel mileage around 18 mpg, have had has high as 23mpg. The drivers side mirror has a small piece of plastic missing out of it. I have a brand new set of Dodge towing mirror to replace the ones on the truck now. They are the same mirrors just brand new. They are not knock off either. I got them right from the dealer. still in the box. Also have a few other parts i have changed out that i still have that will go with it. It also has the all weather floor mats in the front and long floor mat for the rear. I also had tinted the front windows. and installed smoked cab lights. I am sure i am forgetting items or things about the truck. So please feel free to contact me with any information or questions. Good Luck Don't miss out on a good deal and a very nice rare Truck.

Buyer says Dodge dealer gave him wrong Charger, failed to notice for 2 months

Wed, Dec 31 2014

Mistakes happen, and they happen all the time. But when that mistake means a customer doesn't get what he or she paid for, something's gotta give. That's what one Dodge Charger buyer claims he is trying to sort out with his local dealership. Two months after taking delivery, the owner (going by the user name Dakrbouncer4689 on Reddit) says he got a call from his local Dodge dealership reporting a little problem. He had ordered and paid for the Charger SXT (pictured above on the dealer lot), but was given a Charger SE instead. The SE being the lower trim level, this presented one set of problems – namely a $2,000 discrepancy in equipment, like a five-speed automatic versus an eight-speed, a 4.3-inch infotainment display instead of 8.4, heated seats, leather steering wheel, premium audio, remote starter and so on. The second set of issues is that the VIN number on the paperwork (including the registration and insurance papers) of course doesn't match that of the car itself. The dealer, having obviously made a rather large mistake, apparently called the owner in to sort out the mess, but according to the customer's account, things didn't go as smoothly. Instead of immediately working to address the problem, the salesman kept the owner waiting, acted like it was no big deal, and offered only to swap the cars with no compensation for the trouble. Fortunately, the manager proved more sympathetic and apologetic, and offered the customer three options: he could swap the cars (re-doing the tinted windows on the SXT that the customer had done on the SE and throwing in leather seats for free), he could keep the SE (with the dealership handling the paperwork, throwing in the leather seats, adjusting the price and refunding an extra $400), or they could cancel everything, return the car and part company. As we go to press, the Charger owner had yet to make (or at least share) his decision. But while the principle of caveat emptor makes us wonder how he managed to take home a different car from the one he paid for, clearly the salesman and the dealership made a pretty large mistake by presenting him with the wrong set of keys and letting him off the lot without double checking it all. 1970 Hemi Challenger is a family heirloom with serious muscle

Wed, Dec 30 2015

Petrolicious turns up the emotion in its latest video about a family's connection to their 1970 Dodge Challenger. The orange muscle car that gets the spotlight here is a remarkably beautiful vehicle, but the story of a father and his sons at the core of this clip might leave you feeling a little misty eyed. Juan Escalante is the current owner of this Challenger, but it belonged to his dad first. Juan's father spotted the iconic muscle car during the 1969 Detroit Auto Show and had to have one. He soon placed an order for the orange '70 Challenger R/T with the rare combination for that year of a 426 Hemi V8 and a four-speed manual gearbox. The family even brought the coupe with them when they moved to Venezuela in 1972, and local fans dubbed it El Hemi. However, parts were scarce for the muscle car in that country, and it returned to the US in 1996 for a restoration. Now, the rumbling Challenger with its Coke-bottle profile and black hood is the world's most awesome family heirloom for the Escalantes. In this poignant video, Petrolicious shows how the coupe connects Juan to his father. Related Video:

Thieves still love older Hondas and pickups most, says NICB [w/video]

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

No one wants to have their car stolen, but a new study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau has some bad news for older Honda owners and pickup drivers. Fortunately, it has better news for drivers overall. The group is reporting that according to preliminary data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, thefts were down 3.2 percent in 2013 (versus 2012) to fewer than 700,000 cars. That's the lowest figure since 1967. That's also less than half of the peak of over 1.66 million thefts in 1991. "The drop in thefts is good news for all of us," says NICB President and CEO Joe Wehrle. "But it still amounts to a vehicle being stolen every 45 seconds and losses of over $4 billion a year."
Honda drivers might not find it such good news with older Accord and Civic models topping this year's theft study. Toyota and Dodge can't really celebrate, either, with two models each on the list, as well. Overall, this year's list was split evenly between foreign and domestic models, which were mostly pickups.
The 10 most likely vehicles to be stolen in 2013 were:
