1992 Dodge W-250 Club Cab LE 4X4 5-speed Manual with 5.9L Intercooled Cummins with 148k Original miles, Truck is in excellent condition inside and out and runs great, the truck is completely stock except the 4" Turbo Back Diamond Eye Exhaust and cold air intake which were put on to improve MPG's, the truck gets around 20-23mpg ,Everything in this truck works including the original radio, cruise control, power windows doors and locks, the interior is in excellent condition minus needing new fabric on the headliner, it has a 5-Speed Getrag manual transmission and 4X4 that works great. The exterior is also in great condition minus having a few minor scratches, The body is straight and paint is good which the only thing that doesn't have original paint is the hood that the previous owner repainted, There is a small rock chip in the hood. Truck is in excellent condition. The only things that are negative about this truck are faint letters on doors from decals of ranch it belonged to in Oregon where the owner had put a sticker and it was on there for so long but it is very faint, It also needs a new windshield since the original is cracked.  I have had absolutely zero problems with this truck, cranks beautiful and runs great, very dependable truck.  This truck is very rare to find in such good condition, and everything still operating. I still have the original yellowed window sticker from when the truck was brand new for 25k which I will include a photo of.  This truck DOES NOT have a gooseneck hookup and from looking at the bed of the truck you can see how well taken care of she was, all around awesome classic Cummins. Ram, Jeep redesigns on hold, Alfa Romeo models may come sooner

Wed, Jun 3 2015

Last summer, FCA outlined an ambitious five-year plan that sketched out the company's product intentions for each of its brands through the end of 2018. However, even the best strategies sometimes need tweaking. According to Reuters after speaking with unnamed people at auto suppliers, FCA is now possibly delaying at least a dozen projects in North America for a variety of reasons. From vehicle to vehicle, these postponements allegedly last anywhere from just a few months to over a year. The sources from the suppliers claim that in some cases these tweaks are for engineering and design changes. The next-gen Ram 1500 reportedly has among the shorter delays and is being pushed from mid-2017 to November 2017, according to Reuters. Also, the much-discussed future Jeep Wrangler is allegedly moving a little later to July 2017. Among the vehicles purportedly seeing longer delays, the next-gen Grand Cherokee could get pushed back about a year to 2018. That then forces the launch of the three-row, luxury Grand Wagoneer to be even further away. Jeep's upcoming C-segment CUV and the all-new Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Challenger might also see postponements. The one brand allegedly seeing an accelerated plan is Alfa Romeo. Without going into detail, the sources from these suppliers claim that the Italian automaker is getting even more vehicles for its lineup and could get them even faster than planned. "Those plans need to be flexible and fluid, with the potential to add some vehicles, pull some forward and extend the life cycle of others," FCA said to Reuters about all of these allegations. "We look at these programs on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis." Investment in the auto industry has been a major topic for FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne as of late. He believes consolidation is necessary so that companies aren't burning money on the same projects. MotorWeek relives '80s coupes with Dodge Daytona, Ford Escort EXP

Thu, Aug 6 2015

Get ready for a wave of nostalgia and the rapid realization of the huge progress in performance cars over the last 30 years. For its latest Retro Review, MotorWeek takes a look back at two, front-wheel drive coupes from the '80s that seem to have entirely vanished from the roads today. Both the 1986 Dodge Daytona CS and the 1986.5 Ford Escort EXP were considered affordable, sporty options in their day, but the passage of time hasn't been kind to either of their specs. The Daytona certainly looks the part of a performance machine with a body that's reminiscent of other '80s coupes, like the third-gen Chevrolet Camaro. However with 146 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from a 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, acceleration wasn't exactly a strong suit. MotorWeek complained about copious torque steer, as well. The optional CS suspension upgrade package on this Daytona was apparently a nod to Carroll Shelby who was working with Dodge at the time. If anything, the Escort EXP withstands the test of time even worse. As a two-seat coupe, you might have expected Ford's engineers to really turn up the performance to fit the sporty image that the exterior conveyed. That didn't really happen, and depending on which model buyers ordered, they got either 86 horsepower with a 1.9-liter engine or the "high-output" version of that mill with 108 hp.

Gauging reaction to the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit on Detroit highways

Sat, Feb 7 2015

Steven Ewing and I kind of pretended to be cops a few weeks ago. No, not in the illegal way; we just took turns driving the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit around Detroit and its suburbs, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. A lot of those lessons came in the form of weird reactions from other drivers. Steve peeved his neighbors by surprising them in the parking lot, I can damn close to sitting in jail next to a murderer and we both caught our fair share of evil-eyed glances. One of my very first observations was a pronounced "bubble effect" when driving in traffic on the highway. Attempting to recreate the effect for the video camera, I grabbed Senior Producer Chris McGraw and we went for a ride in the name of pseudo psychology. The results weren't exactly as we'd predicted, but we had fun all the same. Get one more dose of your cop car fix, above.
