2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie. Original owner. Ordered from factory, not bought off dealer lot. Delivered March 2012. 24,000 miles plus as this is my daily driver. First, I do not need to sell and will not accept any lowball offers. This truck is first class in every way with many many extras, of which I will try to list most of. Engine work was done by Dieseltechgr in Grand Rapids, MI.
Truck is absolutely loaded from factory with almost every option. No sunroof or rear slider (my personal preference). Has Ram Toolbox with extra led lighting inside. All lights on truck have been upgraded to led lights. Has navigation with voice command, remote start, spray in bedliner, bed extender, all 4 seats heated, front seats cooled. Heated steering wheel. 3.73 axle ratio, 11.50 rear axle with limited slip. Just about everything except the kitchen sink, lol. Please visit ram website for complete listing on 12 ram 2500 Laramie for detailed options. Window sticker is included in pictures. Goodyear Duratrac 285/70/17 tires.
Extras: 4 rear 6500 lumens work lights, 2 spot, 2 flood, able to operate 2 or 4 in solid beam or strobe fashion, many options available. 6 led orange strobe lights to rear, and 4 to front. 151 DB triple train air horn with Viar 380c 100% duty cycle air compressor and 3 gallon air tank with hookup to air up tires also. All four corners have mudflaps. All 4 wheels have Centrac wheel balancers. Block heater moved to bumper with Genos Garage bumper plug. Rear seat floor has in floor storage, one side converted to lockable cover.
Engine and Tansmission extras: H&S mini max tuner with emisson delete and H&S transmission overdrive performance software. Running Draconian Diesel custom tune. Visit H&S website to see the many many features you can control on a 12 Dodge with this programmer. 5" turbo downpipe back stainless exhaust with muffler and 6" black tip. AFE blade runner intake manifold. ARP 625 head studs. 125hp injectors (45% over stock), flow matched. Air dog 165II fuel pump. CP3 pump modified 20% over stock. Industrial Injection add a turbo, borg warner 475 80mm top turbo. Runs 75psi boost, with added gauge on A pillar. Diesel tech triple disc torque converter with very low stall speed. Truck was run on dyno and ran just over 13 second quarter mile, putting it at over 700 rwhp and about 1700 torque.
Again, this is a daily drive and about as far as I can take it and keep it so. Averages around 16mpg, and very fast. Around 14mpg towing about 8000, which it does very very well with compound turbos. Do not need to sell, just looking to move on to next project. Truck does still have bank loan. Truck will not be released until bank check clears. Email with questions and I will answer to best of my ability. Thanks for looking

NHTSA investigating power modules on Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans
Mon, 29 Sep 2014The Center for Auto Safety is officially petitioning the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to begin scrutinizing alleged problems with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on about 24 Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans. The advocacy group claims that the part's failure can cause affected vehicles to stall or not start at all. NHTSA is still looking into the accusations and deciding whether a full investigation is actually warranted.
The CAS petition claims at least 70 TIPM failures, but according to NHTSA, six of the complaints are for models that don't have the modules. In 34 of the reported cases, the vehicles refused to start, and in 17 of them the engine stalled. There were also two allegations of smoke and one of a fire. However, none of these affected airbag deployment or resulted in a crash.
This petition isn't the first TIPM-related problem for Chrysler Group. A recent report in the New York Times alleged that it found 240 complaints potentially related to the issue on NHTSA's website alone. In September, the automaker also recalled 230,760 examples worldwide (188,723 in the US) of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango replace the fuel pump relay circuit inside of the TIPM-7 with one external to the unit. The original part could allegedly cause the models to stall without warning. Even earlier, the company also recalled about 80,000 examples of the Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro in 2007 to have the module reprogrammed.
Dodge Demon's A/C helps its supercharged Hemi make more power
Thu, Mar 30 2017Staying cool is one important key to performance. Simply, more air means more power, and cool, dense air is better than hot air. While forced induction might help make copious amounts of horsepower, turbos and superchargers produce heat. Intercoolers help, but the new Dodge Demon and its supercharged Hemi need a bit of an extra boost. In Drag Mode, the Demon's engine commandeers the car's air conditioning system to help chill things out. The Demon will have the first production application of a liquid-to-air charge air cooler chiller system. Literally, the car's air conditioning system is used to cool the air going into the engine, dropping temps by up to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Dodge claims the system helps achieve "temperatures previously unattainable by pressure-charged street-legal production vehicles." As cool as this may sound, the technology isn't new. Ford had a prototype system in the early 2000s called SuperCooler, though that system never made it to production. While the Demon's system doesn't have a super cool name like the one from Ford, the pair essentially work in the same way. In theory, it should have the same effect as a bottle of nitrous. According to Autoweek, Ford's system bumped up the output of the F-150 Lightning by about 50 horsepower. Turns out that air conditioning isn't always a huge power suck. Related Video:
Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn
Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
